    I have created this widget class DateTimeWidget(forms.TextInput): attr = {'class': 'datetimepicker'} class Media: js = ('js/jquery-ui-timepicker-addon.js',) Then I use it on my form class SessionForm(forms.ModelForm): class Meta: model = Session def __init__(self, *args, **kwargs): super(SessionForm, self).__init__(*args, **kwargs) self.fields['start_time'].widget = DateTimeWidget() self.fields['end_time'].widget = DateTimeWidget() No css class is applied to my fields (I'm expecting datetimepicker applied to both start_time & end_time). I imagine I have put attr at a wrong location. Where am I supposed to specify it ?

  • GWT FormPanel not submitting in IE - works fine on FF, Chrome, Safari

    I am using a simple FormPanel in GWT (com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.FormPanel). Once setting the action for the form, in Firefox, Safari, Chrome the submit method works fine while in IE (8) nothing happens when submit is called (I am submitting a form to paypal, not that it matters). I am on GWT 2.0. Is this some kind of known problem? Been looking around but couldn't find anything on the subject. Any help appreciated!

When I try to make a new Silverlight application, the default web application is an ASP.NET Web application (or web site, if I'm wrong). Can I make a single Silverlight application (no web project) then import in an ASP.NET MVC application? How can I do this?

  • ListActivity problem when using with RelativeLayout

    Newb alert, I'm sure I'm doing something dumb here. I've been progressively expanding my UI, and I want to add a ListView in the middle of my UI. When I add it and change the activity to extend a ListActivity instead of just an Activity, I'm getting a Force Close. Using 1.5. Does a ListView not work embedded in a RelativeLayout?   • C#: BackgroundWorker cloning resources?

    The problem I've been struggling with this partiular problem for two days now and just run out of ideas. A little... background: we have a WinForms app that needs to access a database, construct a list of related in-memory objects from that data, and then display on a DataGridView. Important point is that we first populate an app-wide cache (List), and then create a mirror of the cache local to the form on which the DGV lives (using List constructor param). Because fetching the data takes a good few seconds (DB sits on a LAN server) to load, we decided to use a BackgroundWorker, and only refresh the DGV once the data is loaded. However, it seems that doing the loading via a BGW results in some memory leak... or an error on my part. When loaded using a blocking method call, the app consumes about 30MB of RAM; with a BGW this jumps to 80MB! While it may not seem as much anyway, our clients are not too happy about it.     One of the most appealing features of Ext-JS is the Grid control in my opinion. I was searching for something free that does something close and have set my hopes on jQuery. I haven't found a jQuery (or other LGPL compatible) Table / Grid plugin that allows to: Reorder columns by dragging Resize columns by dragging Add or Remove columns on the fly Have a default good looking UI (subjective, but Ext-JS look I think is a concensus) In addition to the rest most grid controls have (Sort, Paging etc) Is there a free (LGPL) jQuery plugin that does the above?

My question is, how do you develop BlackBerry applications: do you use the simulators - can you relay on them. If an application works on the simulator, does it works 1:1 on the phone? I'm a little fuzzy on UpdatePanel vs CallBack (with ViewState): I know UpdatePanel always returns HTML while CallBack can return JSON. Any other major differences? ...and CallBack (without ViewState) vs WebMethod. CallBack goes through most of the Page lifecycle, WebMethod doesn't. Any other major differences?
