    I can work with many WCF bindings, except netMsmqBinding. All I get is: CommunicationObjectFaultedException: "The communication object, System.ServiceModel.ServiceHost, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state." at System.ServiceModel.Channels.CommunicationObject.Close(TimeSpan timeout) I tried it in a Windows Server 2008 R2 with the following features installed Message Queueing Message Queueing Services Message Queueing Server Message Queueing Triggers HTTP Support Multicasting Support Message Queueing DCOM Proxy I tried also to add manually a private Message Queue in the Server Manager but it didn't work. The address I am trying to expose is: net.msmq://localhost/private/MyServiceName

    When Google homepage communicates with firefox/or chrome it uses a particular type of encoding (perl says it is utf.64) however I can't decode it using such; is it a gzipped enconding ?; I need to finish an app in perl that should be able to make sense of the google homepage using firefox (like a proxy).

(This is the the instance being improperly loaded.) If, however, Province is not loaded as a transparent proxy, the Province instance which is part of RegionalFees' RegionalFeesId property has null Code and Region values, although the Id value is set correctly. It looks to me like I have a problem in how I'm joining the Province class - since if it's lazy loaded the id is set from tblRegionalFees, and it gets loaded independently afterwards - but I haven't been able to figure out the solution.

    I'm using a PHP script to read an RSS feed in my Flex 4 app. The script works when I put the url of the feed in the actual script, but I can't get it to work when I try to send the URL as a parameter from a HTTPService in Flex. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?     Hi i am writing a HTML parser for helping with some job duties, I can enter the site using IE explorer. but using csharp code i get an error i have tried using client.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials; client.Proxy.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials; i don't get the requested page, but an error page. if i can view page in explorer there must be a way to retrieve its html in C# (note that same page in other browsers requires authintication - not in IE) appreciate the help

    i need to fetch a url with javascript/jquery and not php. i've read that you could do that if you got a php proxy, but that means that it is still going through php. cause then it's still the ip of the server that is fetching it. could one fetch the url entirely with only front-end, and thus fetch it with the client's ip?

  • error working with wsdl files in visual studio 2008

    Hi. I got a wsdl file in email. At first I didn't know how to use it. I've simply saved the file to my disk. Opened visual studio...added a service reference...provided path to file, and service was discovered. I opened the object browser to see the types and methods that got imported. I figure anything that ends with the name 'Client' is a good place to start using the web service. I've tried using a simple method to get data but it has run into and expception. Need help in resolving it.   • SSIS DTS Package flat file error - "The file name specified in the connection was not valid"

    I have a pretty basic SSIS package that is attempting to read a file hosted on a share, and import its contents to a database table. The package runs fine when I run it manually within SSIS. However, when I set up a SQL Agent job and attempt to execute it, I get the following error: Executed as user: DOMAIN\UserName. This leads me to believe it's a permissions issue, but every attempt I've made to fix it has failed. What I've tried so far: Run as the SQL Agent account (DOMAIN\SqlAgent) - yields same error. DOMAIN\SqlAgent has "Full Control" permissions on both the share and the uploaded file. Set up a proxy account with a different account's credentials (DOMAIN\Account) - yields same error. Like above, "Full Control" permissions were given over the share to that account. Gave "Everyone" full control permissions over the share (temporarily!). Yielded same error. Manually copied the file to a local path and tested with the SQL Agent account. Worked properly. Added an ActiveX script task that would first copy the remotely hosted file to a local path, and then have the DTS package reference the local file. Gave a completely nondescriptive (even by SSIS standards) error when trying to run the script. Set up a proxy account, using my own personal account's credentials - worked correctly. However, this is not an acceptable solution as there are password policies in place on my account, as well as being a bad practice to set things up this way in general. Any ideas? I'm still convinced it's a permissions issue. However, what I've read from various searches more or less says giving the executing account permissions on the share should work. However, this is not the case here (unless I'm missing something obscure when I'm setting up permissions on the share).

  • Publishing WCF .NET 3.5 to IIS 6 (Windows Server 2003)

    I've been developing a WCF web service using .NET 3.5 with IIS7 and it works perfectly on my local computer. I tried publishing it to a server running IIS 6 and even though I can view the WSDL in my browser, the client application doesn't seem to be connecting to it correctly. I launched a packet sniffing app (Charles Proxy) and the response for the first message comes back to the client empty (0 bytes). Every message after the first one times out. The WCF service is part of a larger application that uses ASP .NET 3.5. That application has been working fine on IIS 6 for awhile now so I think it's something specific to WCF. I also tried throwing an exception in the SVC file to see if it made it that far and the exception never got thrown so I have a feeling it's something more low level that's not working. Any thoughts? Is there anything I need to install on the IIS5 server? If so how am I still able to view the WSDL in my browser?   • Can I use two different look and feels in the same Swing application?

    I'm using the Flamingo ribbon and the Substance Office 2007 look and feel. Of course now every control has this look and feel, even those on dialog boxes. What I want is something like in Office 2007, where the ribbons have their Office 2007 look, but other controls keep their native Vista/XP look. Is it possible to assign certain controls a different look and feel? Perhaps using some kind of chaining or a proxy look and feel?

  • How can I use functools.partial on multiple methods on an object, and freeze parameters out of order

    I find functools.partial to be extremely useful, but I would like to be able to freeze arguments out of order (the argument you want to freeze is not always the first one) and I'd like to be able to apply it to several methods on a class at once, to make a proxy object that has the same methods as the underlying object except with some of its methods parameter being frozen (think of it as generalizing partial to apply to classes). I've managed to scrap together a version of functools.partial called 'bind' that lets me specify parameters out of order by passing them by keyword argument. That part works: >>> def foo(x, y): ... print x, y ... >>> bar = bind(foo, y=3) >>> bar(2) 2 3 But my proxy class does not work, and I'm not sure why: >>> class Foo(object): ... def bar(self, x, y): ... print x, y ... >>> a = Foo() >>> b = PureProxy(a, bar=bind(Foo.bar, y=3)) >>> b.bar(2) Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> TypeError: bar() takes exactly 3 arguments (2 given) I'm probably doing this all sorts of wrong because I'm just going by what I've pieced together from random documentation, blogs, and running dir() on all the pieces. Suggestions both on how to make this work and better ways to implement it would be appreciated ;) One detail I'm unsure about is how this should all interact with descriptors.
