  This code should automatically connect players when they enter a game. But the problem is when two users try to connect at the same time - in this case 2nd user can easily overwrite changes made by 1st user ('room_1' variable). • Change date format (in DB or output) to dd/mm/yyyy - PHP MySQL

  MySQL stores the date in my database (by default) as 'YYYY-MM-DD' The field type for my date is 'DATE' (I do not need any time storage).. Is there a simple way to change it by default to DD/MM/YYYY ? I call up different dates in 2 different tables, and no where in any of my code do I have anything resembling a date variable or anything! Hopefully this is a straight forward change?

Here is the result: NameError in ProductsController#index undefined local variable or method `my_price' for #<Class:0x313b648> What is the right way to do this in Rails 3 ?

Does anyone have any ideas?

So im doing some database work and store complete html to a $str variable and then write/make new file: $fp = fopen($file, 'w+'); fwrite($fp,$str); fclose($fp); The problem here is not creating .doc file, but when i download and view that .doc file it's not in UTF-8 it's in unicode.

  Hi There I wish to convert my string in format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss to a DateTime of the same format. Can ayone offer any guidance on how to correct this please?
