• windows server 2003 cannot accept connections

  Hi everyone, I am running a Windows Server 2003 OS and am noticing that no one is able to connect to the machine through Remote Desktop. I have gone through the Terminal Services Configuration to make sure that we had the RDP-Tcp connection enabled and I've checked to see that the server was listening to port 3389. Are there any other options since I've tried to ping into our host server with no results. Thanks in advance.

  I have gone through the steps of enabling static compression for my IIS 6.0 site: enable it in IIS Manager enable edit-while-running add the extensions i need to compress directly to the metabase: js, css wait for the metabase.xml to update to the latest major history version It is still not compressing JS and CSS. Is there anyway to enable this without iisreset?

• Nitro PDF Express removing already outputted files when I cancel it

  Im converting lots of .doc files into .pdf using Nitro PDF Express. The program isn't finish converting the 37 files yet maybe 10 are converted and are in the output directory already. But when I cancelled it, even the converted one's are deleted. Can I still find it somewhere or are they gone for good.

  I have some running foreground programs that I wish to finish even if I log off my RDP session. For some reason if I log off for too long and come back, everything is gone, including open folders and text files. This doesn't happen if I log back on immediately. Is there a group policy or other setting that's telling Windows to close all my programs after I log off?

  Here is what happened: At first, I upgraded Mozilla Firefox browser to it's latest version. Then, I realized that all my bookmarks in Google Chrome were gone. In my panic, I imported the bookmarks of Firefox to Google Chrome just in case they were transferred, but they weren't. Then, I searched over my computer to find the bookmarks location of Chrome and I found the two relevant files Bookmarks Bookmarks.bak but they were updated too. What else can I do to restore my bookmarks?

  I've found all my Outlook data files which contain all my emails at the following paths: C:\Users\C\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook C:\Users\C\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook and C:\Users\C\My Documents\Outlook Files\ I've migrated all these and copied it to my new machine at the same directories however my configuration is not there! None of my email pop/smtp settings are there, only the pst is loaded with my emails but all other configuration is gone, where precisely is that configuration stored?

  I'd like to be able to stream .avi files to my xbox 360 video library. I've gone through a bunch of different servers (ushare, xbmc) both from the aptitude and from source. It seems that I can get the servers working from both localhost and from another computer on the network. However, the xbox cannot detect any of these. I have a directive that goes something like this: Options MultiViews FollowSymLinks I have a location directive where I have Options +Includes This causes warning errors in my Apache error log: mod_include: Options +Includes (or IncludesNoExec) wasn't set, INCLUDES filter removed These warnings are gone when I add +Includes to my options but I don't want.   Windows XP professional SP3 Firefox 13.0.1 NoScript Addon 2.4.6 I can't click Javascript links, like for opening a popup window (which I usually don't care about, but this time it was Important :-( ). I mention NoScript as I used to have a button where I could temporarily enable Javascript so the link would work, but with one of the latest updates this seems to be gone. I have "Block popup windows" unchecked and "Enable Javascript" checked in Options. How can I get the NoScript button back?

  I am trying to work with a legacy application in SQL Server which at some point does the following query SELECT serverproperty('EngineEdition') as sqledition The server replies with 2 (which is the correct edition), but the application closes since the app demands to be run over SQL Server Express which is 4. We don't have access to the code and the developer is long gone. Is there a way to configure SQL Server so that when this query is received it simply returns 4 and not the value of the property? • Cannot see folders on my external drive [closed]

  I have a Windows Vista Home Premium machine, and am using a WD portable drive. My external drive is showing that it is occupying space, but I am no longer able to see any of my folders in there. Out of the 1 TB, its shows that 600 gigs are free, but the folders are gone! Please suggest some way of retrieving the files (I think they're must be some way to retireve them, since the disk utilization shows that something is on the disk). Appreciate your help!
