• Drupal, Lightbox: cannot edit the content inside

  hi, I'm using Drupal and Lightbox module to display the content of articles in this website: donatellabernardi.ch/drupal if you click on an article the lightbox is displayed. However I have 2 problems with it: 1) I cannot use the libraries such as the tooltip library qTip from it. (If you move the mouse over the balls, you'll see the tooltips) 2) I cannot invert the title with the balls (tags), because it seems that the template of the node in the lightbox is not controlled by my theme. I tried also to change the node template (in the drupal root folder), swapping title and meta data but it didn't work. thanks

  Given is a database with locations, we feed those tho the google map api and all points are displayed. Now there is a list of this location right next to the google map. How can i link the places in the list to the dots on the map? Like this: http://www.local.ch/en/q/ubs.html I want to light up the point on the map on the list item hover and open the info-box by clicking on the list item. Can anyone point me into the right direction?

  I am trying to start/stop jboss remotely with ruby Net::SSH library. • jquery animate() problem (syntax ?)

  $('#somediv').stop(false, true).animate({marginLeft: '-=' + e.width() + 'px'}, options.speed, function(){ options.onNewSlide() }) e.with() returns 640 opctions.speed contains 800 options.onNewSlide() contains a a custom callback function It works fine in firefox. But i debugged it with jquery.lint because it was throwing some random error in IE. lint tells me: When I called animate(...) with your args, an error was thrown! TypeError: c.speed is not a function { message="c.speed is not a function", more...} You passed: [Object { marginLeft="-=640px"}, 800, function()] and it indicates me the line i have posted. I have checked the jquery doc, but my syntax seams ok. Do you know what i am doing wrong?   I need to post to a payment gateway. The example PHP script for the gateway simply sets the XML like this curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $xmlRequest); // $xmlRequest is just a string of XML In all of my experience, generally you need to use an array with key/values or a string similar to GET params. I am using Kohana, and tracked down a cURL module. It accepts the POST key/values as an array only. Now, I could ditch the module and throw some cURL straight in, but I am using this module fine all throughout the site, so would prefer to use it here. So, my question is, how does that first one work? Does it just POST the whole thing without any named key? Is there a default key I could use for an array to get the module to work?

• Any advantage to using SVG font in @font-face instead of TTF/EOT?

  I am investigating the usage of SVG fonts in @font-face declaration. So far, only Safari 4 and Opera 10 seem to support it (see an example for test [1]). Firefox 3.5 does not support it but there is a bug report [2] but no fix has been supplied yet (though there are patches). I also came across this discussion[3] which tangentially talks about advantages/disadvantages of SVG fonts. I am wondering, with @font-face support in major browsers, what is the advantage of using SVG font format in lieu of TTF/OTF/EOT formats? The only advantage I can glean from the discussion linked above was that you can add your own missing gylphs to fonts that do not support them yet. • Drupal, installation to new web server... problems with Views exposed filter

  hi, I've moved my drupal installation to a new website (without clean urls support). I'm using a View to display the content of my website with exposed filter (tags multi-selection) When I click on one of the tags something strange happen on the new website.. Even if I select only 1 tag, I get urls like this: http://.../drupal/?tid[]=67&tid[]=66&view_name=Portfolio&view_display_id=page_1&view_args=&view_path=portfolio&view_base_path=portfolio&view_dom_id=1&pager_element=0 instead of the normal url: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio?tid[0]=67 could you give me some tip ? thanks

• Oh no, Not another Undefined Reference Question!

  Unfortunately yes. I have my shared library compiled, the linker doesn't complain about not finding it but still I get undefined reference error. Thinking that I might be doing something wrong I did a little research and found this nice, simple walkthrough: http://www.adp-gmbh.ch/cpp/gcc/create_lib.html which I've followed to the letter but still I get: $ gcc -Wall main.c -o dynamically_linked -L.\ -lmean /tmp/ccZjkkkl.o: In function `main': main.c:(.text+0x42): undefined reference to `mean' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status This is pretty simple stuff so what's going wrong?!?!? Can anyone suggest something in my set up that might need checking/tweeking? GCC 4.3.2 Fedora 10 64-bit

• How do I log the raw HTTP headers with a PHP script?

  I'm using a cURL script to send POST data through a proxy to a script and I want to see what raw HTTP headers the cURL script is sending. List of things I've tried: echo curl_getinfo($ch, CURLINFO_HEADER_OUT) gives no output. file_get_contents('php://input') gets some HTTP headers but not all. print_r($_SERVER) also gets some HTTP headers but not all (I know this because there should be a X-Forwarded-For header and there isn't) Printing all superglobals ($_POST, $_GET, $_REQUEST, $_FILES etc) still doesn't show the raw HTTP headers. http_get_request_headers(), apache_request_headers(), $http_response_header, $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA aren't outputting everything. Help?

• How do I Parse the response I get back from CURL?

  I'm sending some data to an external URL using Curl. The server sends me back a response in a string like this: trnApproved=0&trnId=10000002&messageId=7&messageText=DECLINE I can assign this string to a variable like this: $txResult = curl_exec( $ch ); echo "Result:<BR>"; echo $txResult; But how do I use the data that is sent back? I need a way to get the value of each variable sent back so that I can use it in my PHP script. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

• API numbers don't match on compiled PHP extension

  I'm trying to get GD into my PHP. I recently installed PHP5.3.0 on my system running Mac Leopard using mac ports. It did not come with the gd module. So I downloaded gd, compiled it as an extension module as per http://www.kenior.ch/macintosh/adding-gd-library-for-mac-os-x-leopard, made php.ini point to it, restarted apache etc. But no GD. So in apache error log it says PHP Warning: PHP Startup: gd: Unable to initialize module\nModule compiled with module API=20060613\nPHP compiled with module API=20090115\nThese options need to match\n in Unknown on line 0 So a bit of googling says I should not use the phpize I have before configuring and making these. I should use a new one called phpize5. I surely don't have any such thing. Unless its packed up inside something else in my php5.3. distro. Where do you get it. In Ubuntu I could just run sudo apt-get install php-dev, (apparently) and it would just appear by magic. At least that's what the webpage said. Unfortunately I am running MacOSX version Leopard. How can I build this GD module on Leopard so that it will match the API number in my PHP?

• MySQL socket connections working, but not port connections

  I installed MySQL community 5.1.45 on my Snow Leopard 10.6, using the pkg from their site. I had previously installed a MySQL binary from entropy.ch. In the previous installation, the connections were working fine before I upgrade to Snow Leopard. In Snow Leopard, both the installations are problematic. Using an app called Sequel Pro, if I connect with the socket operation, it connects properly. However, a standard connection with the same credentials doesn't work. From what I've understood, socket connections happen on the machine itself between processes, whereas normal connections occur over the network/ports, in this case a loopback to my machine, since the server and client are both on the same machine. My new CakePHP installation isn't being able to connect to the db with the root credentials I provided. Btw, I've been starting the MySQL server using the Preference Pane.   I'm trying to use my Synology DS212 NAS box also act as VPN gateway to my companies VPN. Sadly, they only use Cisco ASA and to complicate stuff even further, we've got to use personal certificates (which is of course more secure, but more complicate to get going…). So I compiled OpenConnect v4.06 from http://www.infradead.org/openconnect/. • Mplayer no sound when playing some movies

  Ok, that's a bit of a strange problem, that somehow crept into my system. It used to work fine. Here is the problem as far as I can identify it. When I try to play certain video files with mplayer, there is no sound. As far as I can tell, it is only an issue with ac3 and dts sound tracks (using the ffmpeg decoder). The strange thing is that if I play these files directly with ffplay, they work fine. mplayer sound with mp3/ogg is fine My alsa configuration is standard (no /etc/asound.conf or ~/.asound*) OS: Linux Gentoo Mplayer: 1.0_rc4_p20100213 (SVN-r30554-4.3.4) FFMpeg: 0.5_p20601-r1 (SVN-r20601) Any other information I can provide?

  I've purchased an Asus Xonar DG as replacement for faulty onboard audio in a Medion 8822 as it has an optical output which is all I really need to feed my HTPC. I uninstalled the previous drivers/devices, switched the PC off, inserted the Asus card, powered up, disabled the onboard audio in the BIOS, then installed the driver that came on the CD (same version as on Asus' website as of today) and everything went perfectly - no errors. I set the audio devices up in Windows and in the Asus utility (SPDIF enabled, 6-ch audio) as I would expect to see them work, but the only thing is I have no digital audio from test tones within Windows/the Asus utility, PCM audio or Dolby Digital from DVD. Analogue audio is fine. I've uninstalled things and reinstalled a couple of times now, as well as trying almost all combinations of analogue/digital outputs but can't get it sorted. Does anyone have any tips on how to get this working? This card has just been released so there isn't much out there to go on. Notes: The light on the toslink port is lit. OS is Vista 32-bit SP2 and all up to date, pretty much a fresh install with almost no 3rd party applications installed This page seems to suggest that a digital output device in Windows is not needed with Xonar cards as it was with the previous Realtek so I have it set to Analog. But it I want to use it for smtps as well (adding the same line as smtp in master.cf but with smtps) i receive failure messages in syslog like: postfix/postscreen[8851]: fatal: btree:/var/lib/postfix/postscreen_cache: unable to get exclusive lock: Resource temporarily unavailable Some say that postscreen can only run once; that's ok.   I'm trying to set up a Poweredge 2850 as a web server, but as a server novice it's causing me some confusion. Its a virgin install so no data to be lost as yet, so I'd like to get the best arrangement for setting up Windows Server 2008. The box will run IIS, a mail and FTP server. The current physical arrangement of the hot swap drives is 1 73GB 3 146GB 5 blank 0 73GB 2 146GB 4 146GB (but flashes green, amber off) When I enter the PERC config screens on boot up I've got Raid Ch- 0 ID 0 ONLIN A00-00 1 ONLIN A00-01 2 ONLIN A01-00 3 ONLIN A01-01 4 HOTSP I think that drives 0 and 1 are set to RAID 1 and drives 2 and 3 are also set to RAID 1, certainly I can see 2 logical drives, both raid 1 of 69880MB and 139900MB Now what I think I am getting here is that the 2 73GB drives mirror each other and the 2 146GB drives mirror 2? so by my noob thinking if a drive fails I can pull it, insert and new one and it will reduplicate from its matching pair? I think the flashing amber probably indicates a failing drive in slot 4, should that just be binned? What confuses me coming from a home user XP background is that when I load up Windows Server 2008 OS under my computer I only see a C drive of about 70GB capacity. i.e wheres the 146GB drive? Any advice appreciated
