  • How do I reference sqlite db column to use in update statement

    I am trying to update a datetime column in an android sqlite db to use international date format (yyyy-mm-dd) instead of the current format (mm/dd/yyyy). I want to use the sqlite date() function to reformat the current value of the column. I thought it would be as simple as the following: update tblename set thedate = date(thedate) but the above does not work. How would i write the sql statement to accomplish this? thanks patrick

    I have a column of email addresses on sheet 2 col A (but I could put them on sheet 1 if it would make it easier / faster) that I want to remove from sheet 1 col D if matched (there may be 2 or more occurences of the same email to be removed/cleared). (1000s of rows in each sheet). After all day searching forums I’m getting more confused & can't find what I'm looking for. At the same time, I'm also doing many-to-many relationships, and so requiring unique values on either column of the tables that coordinate the relationships would hamper that. How can I define a primary key on a table such that any given value can be repeated in any column, so long as the combination of values across all columns is never repeated exactly?

  • 3 column layout with css display table, with first row having multiple rows?

    I am working on a new website which: Has 3 columns - Each Column being a cell First column has 3 rows (Logo, Nav, icons) - Has a Div with display: table which wraps arround 3 divs with display:table-row. Other two columns only have 1 row. With the middle column being the content area. However since this is my first time using display:table, I am running into some things that aren't so clear to me. I was trying to avoid floating divs. If I need multiple rows with one cell in each row per column, do I embed each cell in a row or just create each row and not declare cells. I understand that browsers automatically create the missing elements but I want to make sure I do this properly to avoid any side effects that might occur due to the browser automatically creating the missing elements. Edit: I think my brain is just over worked, I guess I can accomplish this by just using 3 divs in the first column instead of using a nested table div with the rows. This just popped into my head.

    I want to change the format of the "Date"-Column in the messagelist in Thunderbird. For mails from today, I want to display only the time, not the date. For mails from before today, I want to display only the date, not the time. This is btw the same setup mutt uses. I know of the this wiki article, which describes how to change the dateformat, but you can only switch between 5 predefined formats, and non of them is "Date only". I also know of this Extension, but it got the same limitations, you can't define a new date format. Thanks!

I've tried getText() directly, however only the first cell was returned, getText("//tbody[@id='recordsTable']/tr[contains(@class, 'someclass')]") But getXpathCount() with the same Xpath expression showed there're multiple elements matched. getXpathCount("//tbody[@id='recordsTable']/tr[contains(@class, 'someclass')]") // result is 15 Please kindly help, many thanks!
