• Unit Test json output in Zend Framework

  The Zend Tutorial lists many assertions to check the output generated by a request. http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.test.phpunit.html But they all seem to assume that the output is html. I need to test json output instead. Are there any assertions helpful to check json, or is there at least a generic way to make assertions against the output? Anything that doesn't rely on the request outputting html?

There is the Document and Summary properties on the Entities, but if we want to regenerate the model from the database at some point, it will be lost! Is there some way to map documentation data inside SQL to the Entities in the EDMX file so it is safe. Suggestions of other best practices? • Entity Framework + stored procedure with paging

  I am using Entity Framework now and using a stored procedure to populate my entity. Where there is no problem with populating my entity, but when i trying to bind the result to a gridview control with "Enable Paging" set to true, it gives an error saying "The data source does not support server-side data paging." I am using stored procedure because one of the table column is FullTextIndexed, and there is a requirement to be able to search on that field. Can anyone tell me how the paging would work in this situation?

I.E. /controller/action.html should route to the appropriate controller / action. We have an idea to throw away the .html extension with our .htaccess file but I think changing the route config would be the better solution. Any advice is welcome.
