• Grep-ing gzipped files [duplicate]

  This question already has an answer here: Grepping through .gz log files 5 answers I have a set of 100 log files, compressed using gzip. I need to find all lines matching a given expression. I'd use grep, but of course, that's a bit of a nightmare because I'll have to unzip all files, one by one, grep them and delete the unzipped version, because they wouldn't all fit on my sevrer if they were all unzipped. Anyone has a little trick on how to get that done quickly?

• Can I host multiple sites with one Amazon EC2 instance [duplicate]

I mostly do the my testing stuff and some of my inter sites for playing with coding. But I do need one server. I am thinking of moving to Amazon EC2 if the price diff is not so much because then I can learn some more stuff. I am thinking of getting the 3 years Heavy utilization Reserved instance because my server will be running all day and night. I tried their online caluclator with Medium Instance Heavy reserved for 3 years for EC2 it comes $31 per month(effective price) and for EBS and S3 , I think even if thats it $40 for all other stuff. I will be at no loss for what I am getting at present. Am i correct or I missed something?? Now In my current VPS I have Apache for PHP sites and MOD wsgi for python sites. I am not sure if I will be able to do all that stuff in Amazon EC2. Can I host python and PHP sites both in Amazon EC2 instance using Named Virtual Hosts and Ngnix

The problem I noticed is that if I try to access let's say https://example.com that have no SSL setuped, apache will automatically try to access the first VHost that has SSL activated (which is litteraly not the same site). How can we prevent this strange behaviour, or in other words, how to say to Apache to ignore SSL for a given site. I game on Windows 7 in bootcamp, and for a month now I have been getting random mouse disconnects while gaming. Sometimes none, sometimes 2-3 per minute. The mouse lights go off and I get the disconnect sound from Windows 7 then it connects again after a second or two. I tried changing the port I connect the mouse to, but still the same thing. The only devices on USB are Apple keyboard with Apple extension cord, the mouse, and a Creative SoundBlaster Tactic 3D Alpha USB Gaming Headset. Any ideas?

• Google Maps v3 - Adding makers results in duplicate markers

  Hi guys, I'm having some problems with Google Maps v3. I have an event listener on "bounds_change" that adds all accommodations(markers) within the active bounds. When i move the map slightly, the same markers are added again because they are located in the bounds. So every time I move the map, duplicate markers are added.
