• PostSharp Cache Sample NOT working outside of the sample solution

  PostSharp's Cache sample project works, but when I copy all classes and try to replicate it on my own solution, Cache does NOT happen. But build does not fail, so there must be something going on. Any tips?

• Error upgrading WSSF solution to VS 2010

  Hi I've recently installed VS2010 and I'm trying to upgrade a project that I created using VS2008 and WSSF (Web Service Software Factory). I've installed the 2010 version of WSSF and it's prerequisites. After upgrading, when I try to load the solution I get "blah.ssfproduct cannot be opened because its project type (.ssfproduct) is not supported by this version of the application". The projects would have different build configurations.   We are changing from SourceSafe 2005 to visual svn. How can an exisiting project be added to a solution Example: I create solution1 with 3 projects and add to /trunk I create solution2 with 1 project and add to /trunk In solution1 I add existing project from solution2, but I cannot add to subversion. I get "out of working copy, use the VisualSVN-Set Working Copy root menu" In SourceSafe2005 it would just link, what is the procedure for VisualSVN? Branch? Regards _Eric

  Hi, I have this device that sends XML data to a webserver in format as follows POST HTTP/1.1 Content-Type:text/xml Content-Length:369 Followed by XML The problem here is that apache simply sends 400 error for this and does not work. Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?

I think the task scheduling or parallel framework is a bad fit for this type of work as it is best suited for work that starts, completes and finishes rather than is constant.   Is there a way to display the path of the solution in the Visual Studio window's name? By default it displays (SolutionName) - Microsoft Visual Studio, I would like it to instead show something like (SolutionName) - (PathToSolution) - Microsoft Visual Studio. The reason behind this is I can have multiple versions of a project checked out at a time (staging and trunk for example) and I'd like a quick way of checking without going through prompts etc.
