• java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError in command line

  Hi, I'm developing an application in Eclipse and it runs fine from within Eclipse. The problem I'm having is that when I export it to a jar file and run it from the command line I get a NoClassDefFound error for javax.mail.internet. In both my project build path and class path I have included the activation.jar and mail.jar libraries required for me to use javax.mail.internet, and like I said it works fine from within Eclipse but not when I export it to a jar. If my build path has those files and so does my class path why would this not be working? • Is there a better way of launching same app from GUI or Command line

  Hi All, I worked out a way of running my Cocoa (GUI) app. From either the normal double clicking it, Or from the CLI. I realised that when an app launches from a double click (GUI), it returns an argument count (argc) of 0. But when launched from the CLI it will have an argc of 1. So long as I do not put any arguments myself. Which means I can use if.. else.. to determine how the app was launched. This works fine for my app as I do not need to put arguments. But I wondered if there was a better way of doing it.   i have some element in my container and want to save all properties of this elements. i list this element by VisualTreeHelper and save its attributes in DB, question is that how to retrieve this properties and affect them? i think that The Silverlight have some statement that behave like Exec in Sql-Server. i save properties in one line that delimited by semicolon.(if you have any suggestion ,appreciate) Edit: suppose this scenario: End-User choose a tool from Mytoolbox(a container like Grid) ,a dialog shown its properties for creation and finally draw Grid . in resumption he/she choose one element(like Button) and drop it on one of the grid's cell. now i want to save workspace that he/she created! My RootLayout have one container control so any of element are child of this.HERETOFORE i want create one string that contain all general properties(not all of them) and save to DB, and when i load this control, i create an element by the type that i saved and affect it by the properties that i saved; with something like EXEC command. is this possible ? have you new approach for this scenario(Guide me with example please).

  I am trying to do a simple build automation of my iPhone apps with TeamCity, but having this nagging issue.. When I manually pickup and install .app file from the build folder it works great (syncs smoothly with iTunes and I can see the app on my phone) But when I try to zip this with /bin/zip or ditto...then the zipped contents loose the CodeSigning (iTunes says that it cannot install this app because its not signed) I have tried different combinations of these.. ditto -ck --rsrc --keepParent HelloWorld.app HelloWorld.zip Any more ideas?

I have my functionality working for shell scripts that do exactly what i want, however i am having issues porting it to perl to work within my perl scripts as i am new to perl.   Are there any open source libraries (any language, python/PHP preferred) that will tokenize/parse an ANSI SQL string into its various components?   Hi, I'm trying to setup a simple timer that gets started from a Rails Application. This timer should wait out its duration and then start a shell script that will start up ./script/runner and complete the initial request. I need script/runner because I need access to ActiveRecord. • Git : Failed at pushing to remote server, ' REPOSITORY_PATH ' is not a git command

  I'm using Git with TortoiseGit on Windows XP, and I have a remote bare repository on Windows Vista 64bit version. When I tried to push my local files to remote bare repository, I got the following error message. git.exe push "origin" master:master git: 'C:/Git_Repository/.git' is not a git command. See 'git --help'. fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly the arbitrary URL is : username@serverip:C:/Git_Repository/.git The same arbitrary URL worked just fine while doing clone/fetch/pull. Access from a local directory in remote machine to this bare repository has no problem either so I belive there is something wrong with my path. I can push/pull at GitHub correctly but I was using URL provide by GitHub. Does anyone know what's wrong with my configuration? It runs fine from the command line and also interprets the 'cycle' argument fine. When it runs in cron it runs fine, however, the process never dies and while each process doesn't continue to cycle the system it does seem to be looping in some way due to the fact that it ups my system load very quickly. • Updating join fields in an ORM command

  I have a question about object relational updates on join fields. I am working on a project using codeigniter with datamapper dmz. But I think my problem is with general understanding of ORMs. So fell free to answer with any ORM you know. I have two tables, Goods and Tags. One good can have many tags. Everything is working, but I am looking for a way to merge tags. Meaning I decide I want to remove tag A and instead have everything that is tagged by it, now be tagged by tag B. I only have models for the goods and the tags. There is no separate model for the join relationship, as I believe these ORMs were designed to work. I know how to delete a tag. But I dont know how to reach into the join table to redirect the references since there is no model for the join table. I would rather use the ORM then issuing a raw SQL command.

• Emulating Visual Studio's Web Application "publish" at the command line

  Hi, I am trying to automate my deployment process and am now thoroughly confused. I know that there are many questions on stackoverflow about this, but they all have different solutions and none of them work. I have a Web Application project which I usually publish by right-clicking and selecting "Publish". I get a dialog box where I use the following options: Build configuration: Release Publish method: File system Target location: C:\Deployments\MyWebsite Replace matching files with local copies I should mention that in the properties of the project I have "Items to deploy" set to "Only files needed to run this application". After running this, my entire solution is built, dependencies are resolved, build events are run, web.config transformations are applied and the website is copied to C:\Deployments\MyWebsite, although non-required files such as code-behind files are not copied. I have not been able to replicate this... in fact at this stage I'm not even sure which command line tool am I supposed to be using - msbuild, msdeploy or aspnet_compiler? This guy asks almost the same question but his solution doesn't work at all. For example, build events do not run correctly because the macros are not resolved. Whats more, the files do not get copied into the correct directory at all... I can't even begin to explain what happens!
