  • How do you create your own drag-n-drop GUI designer ?

    Hello I was looking at creating a UI for developing web forms, similar to the Netbeans Visual JSF form designer.It will be targeted to use GWT/GXT components.I am looking at a look very similar to VS/Netbeans. Any thoughts on where/how to start ? Initially, I would prefer to have it as a standalone application, later develop it as eclipse plugin. I have already evaluated the extjs designer and the eclipse plugin from instantiations, but i would prefer to have it developed on my own, as it looks challenging, Also, I have few custom components that have been developed.   • Jenkins merge dev branch to master with -Xtheir stategy

    In GIT Plugin, we can merge one branch to other on work space before the starting of Build. However, plugin does not provide -Xtheir strategy. Now i want dev branch to merge on master, validate test cases and if successful then only push back to master. Problem i face is that if there is a merge conflict, i want changes of dev branch to exits (i know i can use -Xtheirs manually). [Like i can check git as Source Code Management, but can;t use its Additional behavior 'Merge Before Build' ] However when i run the required code in Execute Shell Section of Jenkins Job, It does not works as required and fails with error: fatal: dev - not something we can merge Jenkins Job Code is echo Start of Build git checkout dev git checkout master git status git merge dev --no-commit echo End of Build I have also used them with bask -l -c "", but is same problem.

    I have a large number of rows in a table within which I wish to attach a unique colorpicker (jQuery plugin) to each cell in a particular column identified by unique ids. Given this, I want to automate the generation of instances of the colorpicker as follows: var myrows={"a","b","c",.....} var mycolours={"ffffff","fcdfcd","123123"...} for (var i=0;i<myrows.length;i++) { $("#"+myrows[i]+"colour").ColorPicker({flat: false, color: mycolours[i], onChange: function (hsb, hex, rgb) { $("#"+myrows[i]+"currentcolour").css('backgroundColor', '#' + hex); } }); Now this doesn't work because the evaluation of the $("#"+myrows[i]+"currentcolour") component occurs at the time the function is called, not when it is defined (which is want I need). Given that this plugin javascript appends its code to the level and not to the underlying DOM component that I am accessing above so can't derive what id this pertains to, how can I evaluate the variable during function declaration/definition?   • PhoneGap 1.5 (Cordova) + ChildBrowser Whitelist Issue

    I am creating an app using PhoneGap 1.5 (Cordova) and the ChildBrowser Plugin (newest version with naming for PG 1.5 / Cordova.) I use the ChildBrowser plugin to display webpages, PDFs etc. in the app. In previous versions of PG the Whitelist wasn't as restrictive and would load external resources (css/js etc.) located on remote servers / CDNs called from webpages displayed in the ChildBrowser as long as the main URL was Whitelisted. This appears to have changed and I cannot find a way around it. Is there a way to allow all URLs to be whitelisted as long as they are loaded through an already whitelisted URL, or is whitelisting every single possible URL the only way? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi I been sort of using jquery livequery plugin and jquery live together. However now that I am using 1.4 it seems jquery livequery is not working 100%. It would actually run that code in the livequery and display and if I went to another ajax tab and come back it would go into this again.   • Authlogic::ControllerAdapters::RailsAdapter::AuthlogicLoadedTooLateError

    Authlogic is trying to prepend a before_filter in ActionController::Base to active itself, the problem is that ApplicationController has already been loaded meaning the before_filter won't get copied into your application. Generally this is due to another gem or plugin requiring your ApplicationController prematurely, such as the resource_controller plugin. The solution is to require Authlogic before these other gems / plugins. Please require authlogic first to get rid of this error. (Authlogic::ControllerAdapters::RailsAdapter::AuthlogicLoadedTooLateError) I had installed radiant 0.9.rc2, extension reader and required gem Authologic So while running script/server on ubuntu 9.04 i am receiving the above error Any Suggestion, Thanx in advance

  • PHP ZF: I can't debug my IndexController.php actions code

    Hi I'm new to php and I'm using xampp, eclipse pdt, xdebug. I've set xdebug so that I can debug my site on apache but when I click 'debug as web page' in the eclipse ide only the breakpoint in the public/index.php and in the views get hit. If I put a breakpoin here public function indexAction() { // action body $this->view->s = "deam"; } the debugger don't stop?! why is that? I can't debug the most important part of my application. :( Plese help me with this.

I have put log4j property file for my webservice in the apache-tomcat-5.5.28/common/classes folder. Problem is , when i run this using webservice .aar file which is put in to apache-tomcat-5.5.28/webapps/axis2/WEB-INF/classes folder in the webservice ,it does not print logs. Could anyone tell me what is going wrong here. why does it print logs when running from eclipse ide and, why is it not printing logs when it is started using the aar file deployed to tomcat

    Hi, I'd like my web app to log into files with this path: webapp/logs/ I can set the absolute path in the log4j.properties file, but the production environment's directory structure will be different. Is there any way I could do it?   • Page loading effect with jquery

    Hello all, Is there a way to use jquery (or other method) to display a loading div while page loads? I have a table that is populated using PHP/MySQL and can contain several thousand rows. This is then sorted using the tablesorter plugin for jquery. Everything works fine, however the page can sometimes take 4-5 seconds to fully load and it would be nice to display a 'loading...' message within a div which automatically disappears when whole table is loaded. I have heard of loadmask plugin for jquery - would this be suitable for my needs and if not any alternative? No AJAX calls are being made while loading this table if thats relevant.   • Conditionally embed ASP.NET MVC2 Views as resources during build in Visual Studio 2010

    I have a ASP.NET MVC2 project in VS2010 that can be deployed in two modes: standalone or plugin. In standalone mode, the views should live outside the compiled assembly as .aspx files (the default setup). In plugin mode, the views are switched (currently by hand) to embedded resources and the entire assembly is dropped into a host project folder. Currently, this requires the developer to go through each view and switch it from Build Action: "Content" to "Embedded Resource" and vice versa. I would like to create a new solution configuration to automatically grab all .aspx files and build them as resources. This SO post seems like the solution, but I would prefer not to have to edit the .csproj every single time I add a new view to the project. Is there a way to use a wild cards or some other batch/global conditionally statement to change resources from content to embedded?

  • Two CVS projects into one SVN project

    I have two CVS projects, which I maintain in Eclipse. I check out first project, and for second project I use "checkout in existing project" option, so I'm able to maintain two CVS projects into one Eclipse project. Doing this I'm able to Tag both projects with the same tag,etc. And know, time has come to start using SVN. I was able to create two separate CVS dump files, and when I used svnadmin to load then into SVN repository, I wasn't able to keep the structure I had in CVS! So, when i import both dump seperatly into SVN I get the following structure: ProjA - brancher tags trunk ProjB bracnches tags trunk In CVS I was able to have ProjB as a child folder of the ProjA trunk! Is there any way to implement this using SVN?

    I m a graphic designer and have created a website in Joomla that uses a "lightbox" (ignite gallery) plugin to view images from the site. I have created a facebook 'website' app that allows for comments to be posted via facebook in the lightbox (also a like button) - all of which are really just options that you allow in the ignite gallery options. Everything seems to work fine, I can comment and it will appear under the photo in the lightbox, as I asked it too, it also sends a copy of the comment to the commenter's facebook page with links. How do I also get the comments from the website (lightbox plugin) to also appear on the clients "fan page" that already exists?? Much appreciate any help..

  • Finding the best jquery plugins

    Is there a resource for finding the "best" jquery plugins, or at least just the most used ones? For example, I wanted to find a menu jquery plugin but when I goto the jquery website there are so many to look through and I don't see a way to see how popular each one is. For ruby there's the http://ruby-toolbox.com/ which lists many plugins, how popular they are, info about them, etc. Is there something similar or at least some way to filter through all the jquery plugins? EDIT 1: To shed some more light on this - the "most popular" link on the jquery page is useless. I can't find a way to search through it but even worse, the ratings don't seem to mean much. Ex - the first item, in other words the most popular plugin in that list has 5 stars and TWO votes. Doesn't seem like a very reliable resource to me.

    Hello, I am using Flash builder 4 (SDK3.5) to create my flex program. I want to deploy this program and load it to a tomcat server. I configure my "flex server" root folder and other parameters in the project properties. The problem is, that i don't know how to make it generic. e.g. my friend's tomcat is installed in other directory on the computer. I know that in eclipse i can run the server and tomcat from the IDE. I can't see how i do it in Flash builder plugin for eclipse 4. There is a server configuration, but there isn't adapter for tomcat. Any ideas? thanks.

  • Is it possible to use SWT on a Mac with Mac Java 1.6

    The official Eclipse site seems to indicate this is not possible: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=216051 which says: Apple is not supporting the 64-bit carbon API. SWT is written using carbon so it must be 32-bit. Apple won't support 32-bit JDK 1.6. Therefore SWT won't run on JDK 1.6 (along with any other Java program that had natives that made carbon calls). Nothing we can do here other than port to cocoa (which has been started but is still in the early stages). Is this still true? (This bug report comment is from over a year ago.) Is there no way to write an SWT app that I can distribute and will run on any Mac unless the user installs an old/Sun VM?

  • Visual Studio 2008 hangs while opening aspx/ascx file.

    Hi all! I've issue with VS08. I've got Web Application project (vb.net). Whenever I try to open an aspx or ascx (in Source view - just double clicking on Solution Explorer) the file opens, but VS hangs and is not responding. The only way to restart VS is then by killing it's process. And it happens all the time with these types of files. :/ Reinstall didn't work. In addition, the only plugin I've installed with this instance of VS is ClearCase source control plugin.

    I am developing blackberry app. I use eclipse. When I run app from eclipse it runs well on device. But when I run it on manually installed - copy web and standard folders to my device memory and run jar file it gives me 907 invalid jar... my .cod file is Manifest-Version: 1.0 MIDlet-Jar-Size: 65712 MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1 MIDlet-Version: 0.0.1 MIDlet-Name: app_blackberry_6 RIM-COD-Size: 61852 RIM-COD-URL-69: App1.cod RIM-COD-URL-68: App2.cod ...and I have also tried to change size of MIDlet-Jar-Size: 0 but is not working.
