• How can I split the suckerfish Menu into two pieces so that I can put it in two frame?

  I found a tutorial for developing multi-level drop down menu here.Its demo can be checked at www.kriesi.at/wp-content/extra_data/suckerfish_tutorial/step4.html#. I would like to enhance it to support cross-frames . It means, the horizontal part of the whole menu (html,css,javascript etc..in demo page) will exist in the upper frame and the rest will be put in the lower frame. Edit: There will be only one menu item in the horizontal part. It will be still ok if I can click that menu_item rather than mouse-hovering to show the lower part of the menu . Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks.

And I want it to be called right away, not just when the input loses focus. I'm looking for the cleanest and most robust way to do this across all browsers (using jQuery preferably). • Jquery Slider PNG black borders IE8

  Greetings, I'm having a lot of trouble with the IE8 buy of getting black borders when using a JQUERY slider, with PNG transparent images. Using a slightly modified version of the Nivio slider. I have searched high and low for fixes and blocks of code but so far none have worked. What happens is that as soon as the img cycles it gets the black border and looks like shit (only in IE8). Does anyone know a working fix for this? Or do we just have to ban IE from all computers?

  okay I'm new to jQuery and JSON but I have now done so I got some information from the database in JSON format and now I want to show the results in a nice way but I don't know how ;) what I want is to show 5 newest threads on my page so will this script try to load all the time or do I need to do something else?   I have a div fading in using fadeTo. It works great in Firefox and IE9. It does not work in IE8. • jquery mouseleave issue when moving too slow

  Hello. I am using the jQuery mouseenter and mouseleave events to slide a div down and up. Everything works well except for the mouseleave which doesn't appear to fire ONLY if the mouse of moved off of the div quite slowly. If i move the mouse at a relatively normal or fast speed then it works as expected. Can anyone explain this or provide any info on how to get around this? I then extract the data I need (a .gif image) using .find() which is stored in 'val'. This image is then inserted into a #BFX div for display. My problem is every successive time I click my button to update this image it shows the image loading from top to bottom as it is reading it in from the web. Is there a way to only display this image once it has fully loaded so the user doesnt see the image loading and only sees the image change instantly.

  Hi all, I am using jquery-ui and at some point I use the show and hide functions quite heavily to animate changing images coming in and out. From some reason, after a few tries all of a sudden the controls on my page stop responding to clicks. After a bit of poking arround using firebug I discovered my page is filled with div's of the class ui-effects-wrapper. I have no idea why this happens or how to stop it. If I remove these divs I can no longer see the images I've been animating. Any ideas?

  I have an array: myarr = []; I'm filling it with some values: myarray['name'] = "Me!"; Now I want to transform that array into a set of Key = Value pairs. I get no javascript errors, and no serverside errors other then no POST information at all. I need the request to be sent as a true POST request. I need to keep the php code simple because sometimes the login won't be an AJAX call. • Stopping jQuery Jumping to Newly Loaded Content.

  I have a div with is replaced upon certain user actions. These actions are performed under the div that is being replaced and in the case that the div is too large to fit completely into the view window, along with the buttons used to change it underneath, the browser will jump to the top of the newly loaded div. Which is annoying. Does anyone know of a way to stop these? Cheers. Here is the jQuery code.
