  • BAD DC transfering FSMO Roles to ADC

    I have a DC (FQDN:server.icmcpk.local) and an ADC (FQDN:file-server.icmcpk.local). Recently my DC is facing a bad sector problem so I changed the Operation Masters to file-server for all five roles. but when ever i turn off the OLD DC the file-server also stops wroking with AD and GPMC further i m also unable to join any other computer to this domain. For Test purpose i also added a new ADC (FQDN:wds-server.icmcpk.local) but no succes with the old DC off i had to turn the old DC on and then joined it. I m attaching the Dcdiags for all three servers.   • Error when Eclipse started and now my package explorer is empty!

    Friends, Just a quick introduction, I'm currently learning Java, using a combination of the Head First Java book and Eclipse. Everything was going well until tonight! When I started up Eclipse tonight, I saw an error message which I didn't pay attention to (I know! I know!) and acknowledged after which the project explorer was empty where it used to contain my Head First project! After a quick "google" I found the workspace.metadata.log and the errors are shown below. The version of Eclipse I am using is: 20100218-1602 and the only plugin that I use is egit.     Hi, I have an issue where in I have defined dependancies in ivy.xml on our internal corporate svn. I am able to access this svn site without any proxy task in ant. While my dependencies resides on ibiblio, that’s something outside our corporate, and needs proxy inorder to download something.   • MultiActionController no longer receiving requests?

    I was attempting to make changes to my controller, and all of a sudden, I no longer seem to receive any requests (404 when attempting to hit the servlet mapped URLs). I'm sure I've broken my web.xml or app-servlet.xml, but I just don't see where. I can access index.jsp from tomcat (http://IP/app/index.jsp), but I can't get my servlet mapping to work correctly. Note: I need to mix a static (common.xml) and a dynamic configuration. I can't use XML for the latter because that would mean to write 1000 XML files.

  • Is it possible to make this Flex/Flash application safe?

    I'm back with another Flex/Flash security question. I've already received some help from the community on this topic, but I'm still not quite sure this is the best way to do. Here's the thing. A flex web app, a lot of users (1000+), custom configuration of the application depending of the user group. Can I make this thing safe... or safer. For the moment, when a user comes to the application, there is only one configuration possible, but for the next version we've implented a multi-configuration protocol, this way : 1. The user connect to Default.aspx, server code process the windows credentials (whe are on intranet) and give the correct xml configuration file. 2. The flex app loads with the xml conf file as a flashvar and then the app 'builds' itself with the content of the xml file. As we know, since this is a flex application the swf is downloaded on the client computer and the xml file too. If more than one user connects to the app, from the same computer, the can possibly see the other xml file in the windows temp folder. The current directory of the application looks that way : Web site |-> default.aspx |-> index.swf |-> configAdmin.xml |-> configUserType1.xml |-> configUserType2.xml |-> com |-> a lot of swf and xml files I was first thinking making another directory (without read access for the client) containing all the configurations xml files, picking the right one, copying it to the client and deleting it afterwards. But it seems like I must let know the user know when downloading/deleting content on it's computer... I'm running out of ideas, so I hope you have some great ones. It's there are some design flaws (in the way the app is build, not in Flash :p) please share. I'm always looking forward to improve. Thanks Update : In browser Flash/Flex (without AIR that is) doesn't allow deleting file localy silently (on the client computer, where the application is). It's also not yet possible to get session data.

  • Can I set auto-width on an Open XML SDK-generated spreadsheet without calculating the individual wid

    I'm working on creating an Excel file from a large set of data by using the Open XML SDK. I've finally managed to get a functional Columns node, which specifies all of the columns which will actually be used in the file. There is a "BestFit" property that can be set to true, but this apparently does not do anything. Is there a way to automatically set these columns to "best fit", so that when someone opens this file, they're already sized to the correct amount? Or am I forced to calculate how wide each column should be in advance, and set this in the code?

    I'm using Microsoft Open XML SDK 2 and I'm having a really hard time inserting a date into a cell. I can insert numbers without a problem by setting Cell.DataType = CellValues.Number, but when I do the same with a date (Cell.DataType = CellValues.Date) Excel 2010 crashes (2007 too). I tried setting the Cell.Text value to many date formats as well as Excel's date/numeric format to no avail. I also tried to use styles, removing the type attribute, plus many other pizzas I threw at the wall... Can anyone point me to an example inserting a date to a worksheet? Thanks,

    Hello I'm trying to develop business logic for a dynamic site using nusoap on server side (because I need wsdls, and PHP SOAP extension can't generate wsdls), and PHP SOAP extenstion on client side. However, I can't get even login and getRole functions right.     Launching the android SDK manager from the command line gets me this error and others like: Failed to fetch URL http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list-1.xml, reason: Failure initializing default SSL context I've done plenty of searches and have forced http instead of https, created an androidtool.cfg file and added the line sdkman.force.http=true permisions for all files in ~/.android are rw r r. I'm calling android logged in as the owner of those files. I am not using a proxy and I have no anti virus running. I just installed fedora 16 and am not sure of any firewalls running by default. I suspect a permissions problem somewhere along the line. any ideas?

  • Anyone have an XSL to convert Boost.Test XML logs to a presentable format?

    I have some C++ projects running through cruisecontrol.net. As a part of the build process, we compile and run Boost.Test unit test suites. I have these configured to dump XML log files. While the format is similar to JUnit/NUnit, it's not quite the same (and lacks some information), so cruisecontrol.net is unable to pick them up. I am wondering if anyone has created (or knows of) an existing XSL transform that will convert Boost.Test results to JUnit/NUnit format, or alternatively, directly to a presentable (html) format. Thanks!

  • Can't Install ADT. org.eclipse.wst.xml.ui is missing

    I am having trouble getting the Android Development Tools to install. I overcame one error involving the GEF. I now have a new error. Missing requirement: Android Development Tools 0.9.6.v201002051504-24846 (com.android.ide.eclipse.adt.feature.group 0.9.6.v201002051504-24846) requires 'org.eclipse.wst.xml.ui 0.0.0' but it could not be found I am running Kubuntu 9.10 and Eclipse 3.5. I have managed to get the Android DDMS to install. But I keep running into blocks with the Development Tools. I have the Android SDK installed. What do I need to do in order get the missing component?

  • How to limit a google calendar xml / rss feed by date range (not working!!)

    For the life of me I cannot get my google calendar xml feed to only display events within a certain date range. I know that start-min and start-max are supposed to limit the output (according to these posts: (links to posts deleted because I am a newbie and can only post one hyperlink argh) BUT I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK. It keeps showing lot of things outside the range. I created a sample calendar and made it public. It is some events the first week of april. Can anyone show me how to construct a request that only returns those three events from the first week in april? I'll GLADLY and GRATEFULLY paypal $10 to anyone who helps me break through on this.
