They are using cakePHP and there are quite a few relationships. I dont think ms visual 6.0 has been designed for xp...can i just use visual studio c++ to compile c code and keep the same functionality?

  hi all, in the case of an IM client. i have made 2 separate threads to handle sending packets (by std io) and receiving packets. the question is how to make these 2 threads run simultaneously so that i can keep prompting for input while at the same time be ready to receive packets at any time? i have already tried setting a timer but the data is always lost receiving.

  My Understanding Static block is executed during class loading, If a class is already loaded then there is no way to load the class other than class reloading Doubt/Question 1) Is there any time JVM reloads the class? My Understanding In Class Loading JVM loads source of the Java file, so it can not keep all thousands files source is a memory, it should discard the rarely used code and reload again when it is necessary and during reload JVM is not initializing static variables and locks again(may be using some tracking mechanism) Doubt/Question 2) If my above understanding is incorrect then please correct me

  I mean, won;t it be more specific and appropriate if i "only" keep "protected","internal" and "private" members (field,method,property,event) in a class which is declared as "internal" ? I have seen this practice ( having "public" members in an "internal" class) in various code so just wanted to know is it a bad practice or does it has some benefit or advantage.   hello i installed ubuntu using wubit inside the windows and started working on it then i got this error afer updating [0.8879153] kernel panic -not syncing VFS unable to mount fs unknow block (8.3) and i can't user rescue mode and it's give me another error no filesystem could mount root ..... i looked at grub folder and didn' find any file on disks/boot/grub/ so i tryed to user super grub to fix it but it didn' work and it keep giving me. any idea plz .
