  • How to handle when SSRS does not automatically update fields based on database query?

    So I am trying to change the number of fields in my dataset in SSRS and the refresh button is not picking up the added field from the SQL server. The query is definitely returning the correct data, as I have double checked in the server engine itself. Also, I have tried manually adding the field using the SSRS menu, but as soon as I execute it disappears. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

    I have some kind of "data engine" between multiple "data consumer" processes and multiple "data storage" sources. I'd like to provide Linq capabilities to the "data consumer" and forward the query to the "data storage". The forwarded query should be some structured query (like, let's say, NHibernate Criteria). Is there any existing structured query library that could allow me to "just" translate a Linq Expression to such a structured query?

    i want to change this url localhost/classAds/classInc/home.php to localhost/classAds/classInc/home/ for this i created .htacess file as follow, RewriteEngine On #Turn on the rewriting engine RewriteRule ^home/?$ home.php [NC,L] #Handle requests for "home" and put this file in C:\wamp\www\classAds and then C:\wamp\www\classAds\classInc but at both places it did not work,i checked Apache error log but nothing there. actually i an new to this thing.. any idea please??

    The regular expression class (rxregexp.dll) that comes with ooRexx (I'm on 4.0.0) is relatively low on function compared, say, with Python's re module (even at 2.5.2). It appears to have no assertions, no facilities for group extraction, or for substitution. Greedy or lazy matching is a global pattern option, rather than flagged by an additional "?". Basically, a pre-PCRE regular expression engine. Does anyone know if anything with more up-to-date function is available?

    Hey there I'm working on a browser-game and I can't help but wonder about what's the lightest way to make the grid/board on which the game takes place. Right now, as a mere sample, I'll show you this: http://sotkra.com/game/ Now, as the grid gets bigger and bigger, the table and its td's create a very heavy filepage which in turn...sucks in more resources from the browser engine and computer.     I have imported a GWT project from GIT , but when i run maven Install it says .m2\repository\commons-logging\commons-logging\1.1\commons-logging-1.1.jar; cannot read zip file entry and if i simply run my application , i get this \git\my-Search-Engine\qsse\war}: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/servlet/GuiceServletContextListener I tried to find out the way , one solution i found was to move the guice-servlet-3.0 from build path to \qsse\war\webinf\lib but if i do that i start gettin the exception ava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/Injector any idea how can i resolve this

  • Tiled Image for background of DIV is making IE sllllowww when scrolling

    Take a look at http://www.pmverge.com at the "We're in Bootstrap Mode" DIV on the right-hand side. Having that background tile image is causing the IE browser (all versions) to drag when scrolling. What can I do to keep that tiled style but not have it slow down IE. background-image: url(http://blog.pmverge.com/assets/images/background.gif) NOTES Yes this is the Stackoverflow.com engine as I'm licensing it. The background watermark image is not slowing the page down (though it has about 50k).

How can I count how many yes's their are for each column over a date range? Thanks!!

    I would like to pull the titleand description fields from the newsfeed at http://www.tagesschau.de/newsticker.rdf to feed them to the Mac's Text-to-Speech engine. My search for a nice Ruby Gem to do this has brought me to Nokogiri, but all examples that "pull something out" of a given XML seem to be centered around CSS somehow. Does anyone have any idea how to save the titleand description fields in an array?

    Consider it that '_'s in a number doesn't change that number's value so 1000==1_000==10_00. The Problem: given numbers like 1_244_23 1412_2 1_1111 etc..., how could I decide whether certain number appears in that collection? For example: 1244_23 yes, 11_111 yes, 1412_1 no. How could using regex to solve this? I mean, if I could tell the regex engine just ignore these '_''s when matching then this problem becomes trivial? How could I do so?

    I decided that I want to make a game for the iphone I was thinking of using oolong or sio2 any recommendations? Both have the problem of lack of tutorials, is it possible to somehow use a normal C++ game tutorial and integreate the engines rather than the one used in the tutorials? So if the C++ tutorial talks of creating an engine I can skip it and use sio2 or oolong? Thanks
