  • visual studio qt5 plugins not working on release

    I'm got this project where i'm showing images with a qt5 interface, i'm simply setting the Pixmap of a label with the qimage pixmap The thing is, it's working on a debug build, but not on a release build and i dont understand why. I already got a folder in my .Exe folder named "plugins" and a subfolder in it named "imageformats", and in this folder the file named "qjpeg.dll" So i coming here to see if someone has an idea on why it doesn't work ?     I am having problem with setting a new Drawable to my ProgressBar. If I use the setProgressDrawable() inside onCreate() method it works great. But when I try to call the same method inside a Handler post callback it doesn't work and the progressbar disapears. Can someone explain this behaviour? How can I solve this problem?

  • Good article about File- and Folder Permissions on production server?

    I have a classifieds website, and users may post classifieds, add images, remove classifieds etc etc... I have no idea what to set the permissions to on folders. For instance, a php script which I have uploads a file to a directory. What would you have set the directory permissions to? Nobody need access to the directory, only the php script... Just wonder if anybody has a good (brief) article about setting the "right" permissions? Thanks

  • How do you prevent a Hudson slave from archiving artifacts?

    It turns out our slaves spend a considerable amount of time moving the archived artifacts back to the master Hudson node. It at least triples the duration of the build. It would be nice if there would be a way to prevent it. However, setting the maximum number of builds to keep doesn't have an influence at all. Is there another way to prevent sending the results back to the central Hudson master?

I don't care about the response, I just want to do something like file_get_contents(), but not wait on the request to finish before executing the rest of my code.     Hello, recently I've been trying to debug some low level work and I could not find the crt0.S for the compiler(avr-gcc) but I did find a crt1.S (and the same with the corresponding .o files) What is the difference between these two files? Is crt1 something completely different or what? They both seem to have to do with something for bootstrapping(setting up stack frame and such), but why the distinction?
