    I have one database in mysql. But when i log into phpMyAdmin , it shows another database called information_schema. Is that database always present with one database? I mean to say is there a copy of information_schema for every database present in mysql or is there one database called inforemation_schema per mysql server? If i modify this information_schema database how will that affect my current database?

  • STL container to pop() by priority?

    I'm writing a thread-pool for Qt as QRunnable doesn't handle event loops in new threads. Not too familiar with STL, what would be the best way to pop() something by priority? Priority should probably be a property of MyRunnable imo, but I can always give that info to an STL container when adding the runnable to the queue.

  • What is the fastest / best Base64 en/decoder for Java ?

    Just found the MIG Base 64 utility but its over 6 years old since its last release. It would appear to be quicker than the Apache commons equivalent but I have yet to confirm by writing up an actual test. Has anyone verified its correctness which is always a worry. If someone takes a look at the methods, please note i a referring to the non fast methods which make assumptions trading possible correctness for pure speed.

  • Which one has a faster runtime performance: WPF or Winforms?

    I know WPF is more complex an flexible so could be thought to do more calculations. But since the rendering is done on the GPU, wouldn't it be faster than Winforms for the same application (functionally and visually)? I mean when you are not running any games or heavy 3d rendering, the GPU isn't doing heavy work, right? Whereas the CPU is always busy. Is this a valid assumption or is the GPU utilization of WPF a very minor operation in its pipeline?

    I want to use swig for generation of read-only wrappers for a complex object. The object which I want to wrap will always be existent while I will read it. And also I will only use my wrappers at the time that object is existent, thus I don't need any memory management from SWIG. For following swig interface: %module test %immutable; %inline %{ struct Foo { int a; }; struct Bar { int b; Foo f; }; %} I will have a wrappers which will have a lot of garbage in generated interfaces and do useless work which will reduce performance in my case. I register a cookie Set-Cookie EhdSite_SessionId=b0ptrr45xgclea55kjqp2o45; path=/; HttpOnly Do something on the same host (user always sends cookie header) Cookie EhdSite_SessionId=b0ptrr45xgclea55kjqp2o45 then I redirect user to other host After filling all the required data user went back to first host Here user doesn't send the cookie Does that mean that without expiration date cookie is destroyed by browser not when closing browser but when leaving the domain

    A lot of times I need to delete a folder and copy another one with the same name. Always this is a place to trouble. What is the best way do do this? The error I got when I trying to commit: Error: Directory Error: '..\trunk\bin\MVCContrib\InputBuilderTemplates\.svn' Error: containing working copy admin area is missing Error: Please execute the 'Cleanup' command. The error I got when I trying to cleanup: '..\trunk\bin\MVCContrib\InputBuilderTemplates\.svn' is not a working copy directory.

  • StreetView Zoom problem in android?

    I refered this link.I am using the uri for streetview: Uri.parse("google.streetview:cbll=" + sv_lat_val + ","+ sv_long_val + "&cbp=1,45,,45,0.0&mz=0.0") But the zoom level always in Zoomed state. 1.0 is the normal zoom. so i set it for 0.0 . still its not zoomed out. why? But it working in default Google maps App? Any idea?
