  • AutoCompleteExtender not working for WebService hosted on IIS 7

    I have a web service file in my project having a web method which is used for AutoCompleteExtender and which works fine when I debug it from VS. But when I publish and host it on IIS, it's not working properly. However, I tested the webservice method directly by typing the URL and it gave the desired output. Is their a special setting needs to be done in IIS to make it working or any property of AutoCompleteExtender need to be set?

    google-app-engine-django/ claims to have an "App Engine compatible implementation of the Django authentication framework". Does this authentication work only with Google Accounts? Is it possible to register a user with a username/password and authenticate him/her with that username/password without that user having a Google account? I would appreciate any pointers to how this could be done with google-app-engine-django without Google Accounts authentication.

    I am building an installer for my windows app and have done this through a setup/installer project in visual studio. I was wondering how to customize he UI of the finish dialog box? I want to add a couple of check-boxes and launch an app after the user closes the finish box. Is there a way to do this in Visual studio itself or does it require any other tools? I understand how to add view controllers to the navigator using the TTURLMap, but do I need to add a navigator for each tabbar item? I'm lost.

    I have a polymorphic association (Class Table Inheritance) and I need use DQL to query entities of a specific child class wich can be done using "x INSTANCE OF Entity" in WHERE clause. Now I need to put conditions specific for that child class but I get this error: "Class Person has no association named student_field_1" Person = Parent Class Employee = Child class Student = Child class is there any way yo cast of somehow tell Doctrine that the Person is actually a Student and to allow me to put Student fields in the WHERE?

  • Is there a way to reuse an XmlReader?

    I have a process that uses an XmlReader. I have already done a lot to squeeze maximum performance out of it. So far we have had huge gains from using the Reader as opposed to XmlDoc or DataSet.GetXml(). We expect to get XML many times a second and I would like to avoid the overhead of recreating the reader every time. I have already cached the XmlReaderSettings but is there anyway to reuse the XmlReader or do I need to recreate it every time?

For eg.- for orkut or facebook login,only the text box appears,and when inputs are provided,and redirection is done,it says "error on page".   • Robocopy - Compare modified dates of files?

    Hi, I've been trying to create this script that basically mirrors two sets of folders and it's content (including subfolders), but only copy files that are newer than the ones that already exist. I tried doing this by writing a vbscript, but it turns out that I manualle need to scan each subfolder and then it's content. And then that subfolder's content as well and so on and so forth. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if this can be done with Robocopy?

    My MSBuild command line is as follows: msbuild e:\code\myProject.csproj /p:Configuration=Debug /p:OutputPath=bin/Debug /p:Platform=x86 /p:PlatformTarget=x86 The project builds fine on my development machine in VS2010 but not with the command above.   • Adding to %TIME% variable in windows cmd script

    I realize that this could probably be done easier in any number of other scripting languages but started to do it quick in cmd and now Im curious. Looking to start a process at an offset to the time that another process started. Lets say 5 minutes to keep it simple. Is there a way to add to the %TIME% variable? For instance: start /b foo.exe at %TIME% + 5 minutes bar.exe Thanks for any assistance
