  Hi, I'm looking for a small and yet efficient enough lightweight JMS broker solution with no or minimum of dependencies. My messaging code should be running in the environment with a lot of dependencies I have no control of. I see two school of thoughts - Those who use oo concepts a lot and stress on more object oriented approach Those who rely heavily on algorithms and say a particular problem should take o(n) etc. I am not sure where to spend more time ? . Should I spend more time learning OO stuff or learn new stuff like jquery etc or learn travelling sales man algorithm etc ?

  Say I have this list List<string> sampleList = new List<string> { "C:\\Folder1", "D:\\Folder2", "C:\\Folder1\\Folder3", "C:\\Folder111\\Folder4" }; I'd like to remove the paths that are contained in other folders, for example we have C:\Folder1 and C:\Folder1\Folder3 the second entry should go away because C:\Folder1 contains C:\Folder1\Folder3 is there something that does that in the .net framework or do i have to write the algo myself?

• on iPhone change the url background color (when get tapped) from gray to others

  It could be a HTML question as well... I have a UIWebView with a page (from the hand made html string) loaded. For the url link on the page, if you tap on it, it has gray as background, which I think is the default behavior on iPhone. Is there a way to programmingly (thru javascript) change that to be other colors, say, blue? It doesn't seem to work for me anyhow.

  I'm wondering if using a CASE statement in SQLite (or other SQL engines) to replace data is not advised. For example lets say I have a query.   Is there any way of retrieving an absolute URL for a file on a mounted volume in Cocoa? For example, say afp://server/Documents is mounted at /Volumes/Documents. How can I get full URL to a file on the mounted volume in the form of afp://server/Documents/path/to/file? I've tried using statfs but the value of f_mntfromname doesn't contain a url, it contains the same value that is given by the mount command.

  Let's say that I have an application frame, and I want to show a popup QCalendarWidget over on the right side of the frame. Normally, QT will clip the edges of the QCalendarWidget, cutting it in half and not displaying the rest, as it would be over the right side border. Is there a way to work around this limitation without resorting to implementing a QDialog? I want the widget to be visible outside the bounds of it's container.
