sIFR multiple calls don't work :(

Hello ! I'm trying to use sIFR on my menu and on my headers... but only one call works... the others that I put after never appear :(... Can somebody help me ? Image rotate opecv error

When I use this code to rotate the image, the destination image size remains same and hence the image gets clipped. firefox does not load large size images

I am stuck with a kind of bug in FF, wherein it’s unable to load images of big size (I have 8 MB size of image) from the server. The loading of image is all fine on IE. I am still looking out for ways to get rid of this problem. I changed server(IIS) settings to allow bigger file sizes. Also, I used “load” event on image using JQuery and tried all sort of options listed here http://api.jquery.com/load-event/, but nothing worked so far. If anyone of you has come across any such similar problem, and a way to resolve it, it would be nice to hear from you Please note: high resolution images are part of the requirement. What's the best way to handle layout issues with multi-language support in WPF/XAML?

I'm creating a standalone WPF app with multi-language support. I've found some great resources (mostly on SO) on how to store and access the strings as needed. This part is pretty straightforward and doable, but I'm fuzzy on how to take care of screen layout issues. I'm using some custom images to skin up my app for buttons, etc. For instance, here's a button with some text within: <Button Canvas.Left="33" Canvas.Top="484" Style="{StaticResource SmallButtonBase}"> <TextBlock FontSize="20" FontWeight="Bold" TextAlignment="Center" FontFamily="Helvetica"> Enter </TextBlock> </Button> Now here is the same button with text from another language: <Button Canvas.Left="33" Canvas.Top="484" Style="{StaticResource SmallButtonBase}"> <TextBlock FontSize="20" FontWeight="Bold" TextAlignment="Center" FontFamily="Helvetica"> Enterenschtein </TextBlock> </Button> So my question is: What is a good method to prevent this "overflow" situation. I'd like to have XAML take care of any font resizing or indenting that is needed automatically so that I don't have to tweak the UI for each language I'm supporting. Any insight is appreciated!

Cannot override the CSS at this site

This site is overriding my CSS with its own and I cannot get around it! It has style.css with "text-align: center" in the body. I have <div id="mydiv"> appended to the body and it's normally got "text-align: left". There are <ul>s and <li>s underneath #mydiv and they are inheriting the body's 'center' for some reason. TFS merging for users that are used to VSS

I just migrated a team of 7 developers from VSS to TFS. I migrated all of their code into a DEV folder which I then branched into a QA folder (which I branched into a PROD folder). The developers usually don't work on the same files, but there are some shared utility classes. All of the code is for a large ASP.NET web site. When the developers are ready to merge from DEV to QA, they only want to merge their changes. For example, let's say that Developer1 has been working on a project for the last 3 months and he's ready to merge all of his code into QA. However, Developer2 has been working on a different project for the last 2 months which is not ready to be merged. Developer1 and Developer2's changes are not in any way dependent on each other, but they are not separated into different folder structures and they each regularly do a get latest. There doesn't seem to be a way for developer1 to only merge his changes without also merging all of developer2's changes. Currently, developer1 is going through the Pending Changes window and 'Undoing Pending Changes' for all of Developer2's changes, but this is time consuming. They could merge each file individually, but this is also time consuming. Is there an easier way? I am going to have a coronary if I hear one more person explain how much easier it was to work in VSS.

Setting up App Engine to receive email addresses with ids in the address

I am writing an App Engine app that is supposed to receive emails in this form: [email protected] (someID is an alphanumeric ID that I generate). I have this in my web.xml thinking it would catch emails that start with 'addcontact.': <servlet> <servlet-name>addNewContactServlet</servlet-name> <servlet-class>com.mycompany.server.AddNewContactServlet</servlet- class> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>addNewContactServlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/_ah/mail/addcontact.*</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> However, both on my dev machine and on google's servers email is not received. On the dev machine I get this message (I get a similar error in the deployed log) Message send failure HTTP ERROR 404 Problem accessing /_ah/mail/ [email protected]. Reason: NOT_FOUND I can receive email at fully specified addresses or when I use /_ah/mail/* The google documentation made me believe it was possible to include partial email addresses in web.xml. Am I not using the wildcard correctly? Does the period have something to do with it? Can this be done somehow?

How to style "form" field labels in Windows Phone 7?

Is there any standards guidance on how to style field labels next to form fields in windows phone 7 silverlight applications? For example, let's say I have a StackPanel with the TextBlock label and a TextBox for data entry. Currently I am using the default TextBlock Margin included in the PhoneTextSubtleStyle ("12,0,12,0"), and using a Margin of "0,-12,0,0" to push the TextBox up closer to the label: <StackPanel HorizontalAlignment="Left"> <TextBlock VerticalAlignment="Center" Text="Name" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextSubtleStyle}" /> <TextBox Text="{Binding ItemName, Mode=TwoWay}" TextChanged="TextBox_TextChanged" VerticalAlignment="Center" Width="433" Margin="0,-12,0,0" /> </StackPanel> Note that the TextBox seems to have some internal padding of 12 pixels to the left and right, so that the TextBlock label and the TextBox control visually line up perfectly on the left. The problem is, I see existing apps with widely varying conventions for field label styling. Some do not do the negative margin adjustment, like I have above. Some don't. Some appear to override the label TextBlock Margin so that it is indented an additional 12 pixels on the left (i.e. "24,0,12,0" instead of the default "12,0,12,0"). Some apps put the labels to the left of the fields themselves (I hate that). Is there some standard design guidance on field labels in Windows Phone 7? I read through the design template PDF and could only determine that the field labels should be upper case on the first word (preferably only one word labels), and should NOT have a colon at the end. I didn't see anything with regards to margins or alignment between the label and the field.

Importing a Mercurial repository automatically (e.g. SVN Externals)

I have a project that I am developing built off CodeIgniter. The main part of the project is a private system I am creating, but I want to add it to source control, to gain all the associated goodies. Now I'm using Mercurial, so I did the whole hg init bit, so I've got the repository set up. Now, one of the things I've done is to make a library for CodeIgniter, which I use in this project. Now I want to make this library open, so I need a separate repo for that. For anyone unfamiliar with CodeIgniter library development, here's a reference: application /config <- configuration files /libraries <- library logic in here Now I will probably develop a few more libraries in the course of this project, so I can't just dump a repo in the application folder without clumping them all together. What I did was this: dev/ci/library <- library here dev/project <- project here Now in both of those folders, I have made a repository. What I want to do is make the project repository automatically reference the library repository, so I can have a private and a public repository, as I explained earlier. The main way to do this, I have read, is to use subrepositories, but I can only find examples on nested ones (which are unclear anyway, I find). How do I make it reference another repository like svn:externals?

How to drag only one image with SDK Iphone

Hi! I want to create a little app that takes two images and i want to make only the image over draggable. View Source and Chrome Developer Tools showing different output

I have a page located here. Viewing it in Chrome and Firefox show a really small h1 title, and also it changes color as if it is a link. The template that generates everything looks exactly how it should be. When diagnosing the issue, the relevant section of code looks like this when I go to view source: <div class="page-heading"> <h1>Title Here</h1> </div> However, when I go to view it in Chrome's Developer tools, it is throwing in extraneous malformed anchor tags, which is obviously causing the hovering behavior. This is what it looks like to the dev tools: <div class="page-heading"> <h1> <a style="font-family: arial; font-size: 9px" <="" a="">Title Here</a> </h1> </div> In addition, when viewing a local copy of the site, the output shown in the dev tools is the same as viewing the source and they both render correctly locally. Oddly enough, all version of IE render it correctly. The current version of both Chrome and Firefox both render it weirdly. Initially I thought it may be a user agent stylesheet problem, but if anything the CSS is fine, it's the HTML that is malformed.

When you have a table on a form in Notes, you can choose to display only one row at a time (via the Special Table Row Display parameter on the Table Rows tab of the Table properties). In a Notes document displayed using Internet Explorer that contains such a table, a row is displayed with a cell for each "tab". The TD that serves as the tab for the selected "Notes table row" is assigned <td class="dominoSelTopTab">, while the other tabs get <td class="dominoTopTab">. However, when using other browsers, it's not nearly as simple. Changing direction of rotation Pygame

How would you change the direction of a rotating image/rect in Pygame? Applying positive and negative degree values works but it seems to only be able to rotate one direction throughout my window. Is there a way to ensure a change in direction of rotation? Perhaps change up rotation of a spinning image every 5 seconds, or if able to change the direction of the spin when hitting a X or Y axis. I've added some code below. It seems like switching movement directions is easy with rect.move_ip as long as I specify a speed and have location clause, it does what I want. Unfortunately rotation is't like that. Bug on submitted app binary but not in the simulator - CALayer position contains NaN

I submitted my app to the App Store where is ready to download. I've since then received some interesting crash reports when people select an image from the ImagePicker in one of my views. This bug (see below) makes the app crash. I was wondering 2 things. Can anyone spot the problem in the code below? How do you deal with bugs that are only in the App Binary but do not show up when trying to recreate them on the dev environment? - I can make the app crash with the Binary that is on the app store but when I do the same on the simulator or on my test phone the app works perfectly.. Dojo's nested BorderContainer disappear in IE

I have this terrible problem with IE 7/8/9. I wrote an app using Dojo toolkit 1.8.0 and Play! framework. It works fine in all browser except for IE. Its 'developers tools' show no error, so does firebug. Actually, I would like the right-top corner of the first one to be located at the left-top of the second one. Why isn't the pathspec magic :(exclude) excluding the files I specify from git log's output?

This is a follow-up to Ignore files in git log -p and is also related to Making 'git log' ignore changes for certain paths. I'm using Git 1.9.2. I'm trying to use the pathspec magic :(exclude) to specify that some patches should not be shown in the output of git log -p. However, patches that I want to exclude still show up in the output. Here is minimal working example that reproduces the situation: cd ~/Desktop mkdir test_exclude cd test_exclude git init mkdir testdir echo "my first cpp file" >testdir/test1.cpp echo "my first xml file" >testdir/test2.xml git add testdir/ git commit -m "added two test files" Now I want to show all patches in my history expect those corresponding to XML files in the testdir folder. Therefore, following VonC's answer, I run git log --patch -- . How to transfer Eclipse workspace and project from Windows to Linux and Mac

We have a a product developed on Windows for years. The product is composed of one Eclipse workspace and about 20 projects. On Windows, we ask every developer check out projects into d:\dev\product folder, and copy a unified Workspace to d:\dev\prod_workspace. This way, whenever a new machine is set, we simply copy files to the same folder, and we can start working immediately. No We need to move our development environment to Linux and Mac. But there's no D:\ on Unix. And home folder for Linux is mostly like /home/username and /Users/username for Mac. We found Eclipse keeps absolute path in workspace when referring to projects, so simply copy workspace over does not work anymore. Even when we manually create/configure workspace on a Linux machine, it still cannot be copied over to another user, because the absolute path is changed. I guess our goal is to allow easy setup of development environment. Do you have any suggestion to move eclipse workspace around? Thanks! Li
