Hello friends,
Is it possible to play the video from youtube channel through iphone sdk code?
If yes please pass on the link or tutorial for the same.
Thanks in advance
I have searched quite a lot for an answer to this problem. If I have a general application, HelloWorld, and create an interface and then go to test it, then click on the Home button, not even the default grey/white icon is there like it's supposed to be. Anyone have any ideas why? I've even tried specifying a custom icon in the Info.plist file, but still nothing...
I've got the latest version of Xcode and the SDK as well. (3.25 - 4.2)
Hi,
I'm developing an app with SDK 3.1.2 and it runs in the simulator, but when I try to deploy it in the device it arise de following error:
2010-06-17 17:40:39.592 MyApp[2143:207] *** -[__NSCFDate dateInformation]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x21e6a0
2010-06-17 17:40:39.608 MyApp[2143:207] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSCFDate dateInformation]:

Does anybody know the VB or C# code to programmatically download a video from YouTube?
I have gone through all related questions on this site and the only code I have found (which uses the WebClient Class webclient.DownloadFileAsync) returns the text source of the video, but not the Flash video (.flv) file that needs to be downloaded?
Do you know any SDK or library which can help?
I have also downloaded the GoogleAPI (YouTube DLL) but have not found a way of doing it.
i m developing a little tool on my Pocket PC using WM6 SDK but i would like to implement a finger friendly user interface (iphone-like).
So i m looking for a free .NET framework that offers the possibility to easily integrate a finger friendly interface for Windows Mobile 6 Pro .
Any ideas ?
EDIT : Finger friendly means big icons, big buttons , scrollable screens with a simple touch of the thumb... Because the Winforms in Compact framework are made for the stylus, not fingers !!
Hi,
I am trying to create Excel file using OpenXML SDK. I have one situation to get WorkBookPart from WorkSheet instance. How can I get it?

What techniques / methods exist for getting sub-millisecond precision timing data in C or C++, and what precision and accuracy do they provide? I'm looking for methods that don't require additional hardware. The application involves waiting for approximately 50 microseconds +/- 1 microsecond while some external hardware collects data.
EDIT: OS is Wndows, probably with VS2010. If I can get drivers and SDK's for the hardware on Linux, I can go there.
Thanks.
While playing mp3 by mediaplyer and showing the progress with seek
bar,
the problem is that mp3playing sound is delayed when mediaplyer and
seekbar working at the same time.
I used thread, handler, timer for solving that problem on
seekbar.setProgress(mediaplayer.getCurrentPosition()).
what do I do?? sdk can take more playbuffer for mp3player..??
or I should focus on optimizing code than before..??
Hi,

Please help me.
I am using Android SDK 2.1.
I can't run a debug sdk application because it requires both VC 8 and VC 9 versions of the CRT. But it only requires visual studio 2008 for plugin dev, which is what I need.
How do I install the debug runtimes from 2005 on to a Windows7 machine? I can't figure out how to make them run app local nor can I copy anything into the winSxS folder without a trusted installer.
Can multitouch events be tested on Android Emulator ? Or is there any way to test this without actual device ? I am using 2.0 sdk and want to test zoom-in zoom-out on by two fingers.
Is there a way out ?
I'm trying to convert an old Delphi program I wrote into Java to compile and run on my Android phone. I'm running the Android 2.1 operating system but am using version 1.6 of the SDK.
I have a routine in Delphi where I set the colour of pixels on a canvas individually along the lines of:
image1.canvas.pixels[x, y] := GetMyTColor(x, y);
Is there a Java equivalent to the property on the Canvas:
property Pixels[X, Y: Integer]: TColor
I am interested in activating another application's activity. I know from reading the Android SDK that it's probably better to do this with an implicit intent. However, this activity doesn't reside in an application I own, so I don't know the action and category and data flags on the intent-filter.
How can I examine an Android applications metadata like the activity classes and the intent-filters for those activities (if declared in the manifest)?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Using the latest SDK from Apple, I noticed that while running on the iPhone works fine, the iPad version of my application doesn't "accept clicks" on any view/widget that is outside the "bounds" of the standard iPhone screen.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Reuven
I'd like to write a test script or program that asserts that all dlls in a given directory are of a particular build type.
I would use this as a sanity check at the end of a build process on an sdk to make sure that the 64bit version hasn't somehow got some 32bit dlls in it and vice versa.
Is there an easy way to look at a dll file and determine its type?
The solution should work on both xp32 and xp64.
I was able to play the audio in background of the application in iPhone. However I would like to know if there is any service that enables the playback of audio after the user exits the application?
I know that SDK 4.0 promises multitasking and background processes of the application. But i would like to know if this is enabled for audio playback in the earlier versions?
Is it possible to modify the Codec List Object in an ASF file? In particular, I would like to edit the codec name and description. I realize that this won't actually change the content of the video, but it's necessary for the video to be verified by an external tool.
Does anyone know of a tool that will allow me to do this? If not, does anyone have any suggestions about how I might go about doing it using the Windows Media Format 11 SDK?
I've been trying to upload a user profile picture during the user registration using Service 3 and so far I haven't had any luck. I tested passing a hard coded fid in the field "picture" and also tried to pass the fields "filemime", "filename", etc. and it didn't work neither.
Any idea about what fields I need to populate?
I guess it must be related to this post Using Drupal Services and DIOS SDK for setting user picture in iOS app
but it doesn't have and answer neither.
Hi Guys,
I'm constructing a geolocation based application and I'm trying to figure out a way to make my application realise when a user is facing the direction of the given location (a particular long / lat co-ord). I've done some Googling and checked the SDK but can't really find anything for such a thing. Does anyone know of a way?
I am using the Silverlight sdk for Bing Maps. I have my map, I have my PushPins all mapped out. Now I want to disable the user from zooming out so far they see the whole world and keep it constricted to the just the US. It would be nice if there was something simple like Map.MaxZoom but there is not. Any help?
