  • Enable Media Volume Slider in Android application.

    Some Android programs trigger the "media volume" slider when the hardware volume up/down buttons are pressed. My application seems to set the ringer volume when the hardware buttons are pressed. How would I enable the media volume slider? I would hate for users to have to go into their settings to change the media volume when they use my application.

    I can't figure out how to properly show the printer preference dialog of a given printer so that the user can change the printer settings. Most of the examples that I can find online manage to show the dialog but any changes the user might make are lost which makes it useless.     Hi, I have a web application where I would like to pull user settings from a database and store them for Global access. Would it make more sense to store the data in a Singleton, or a Session object? What's the difference between the two?     My app got rejected by the apple because of the reason "iPhone Apps must also run on iPad without modification, at iPhone resolution, and at 2X iPhone 3GS resolution".Apple suggested that "to support the iPad 3GS 2X, and this issue is usually resolved through settings in "compatibility" mode. "no black bar's or borders"".So,my question is how to set and run the app in compatibility mode.Any one having this issue please help on this issue.I have no idea to go forward. As a normal user, you could edit the "User variables" but not the "System variables". In Windows Server 2008 R2, if I try to hit the Advanced System settings option in the System applet, it prompts for the Administrator password.

I want it to convert all files to LF and keep the LF on the files. Remark: I used autocrlf = input but this just repairs the files when you commit them. I want to force it to get them using 'LF'.

    I am trying to output a long XML result from SMSS. When I right click on the results and 'save results as...', I can only get a 2mb file? I have changed the settings in SMSS via Tools - Options - Query Results - SQL Server - Results to Grid, for XML data to be unlimited. Forever, it still seems to be truncating my XML results?     i am trying to use viewpager from android support library v4 in intelli j currently i have android sdk 4.1 I copied android-support-v4.jar to my intellij android project under 'libs' in the project settings of intellij I webt to "Modules" = "MyModuleName" = dependencies tab, and add the android-support-v4.jar, by navigating the path to the libs/ folder under my own project I checked the 'export' besides this newly added jar file but i still can't use viewpager in my application i get a crash msg like java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.xxxx/com.xxxx.MyActivity}: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #13: Error inflating class android.support.v4.view.ViewPager

  • Capture Stored Procedure print output in .NET (Different model!)

    Basically, this question with a difference... Is it possible to capture print output from a TSQL stored procedure in .NET, using the Entity Framework? The solution in the other question doesn't work for me. It works with the connection type from System.Data.SqlClient but I'm using the one from System.Data.EntityClient which does not have an InfoMessage event. (Of course, I could just create an SQL connection based on the Entity connection settings, but prefer to do it directly.)

  • Possible to change where Android Virtual Devices are saved?

    I've set up the Android SDK and Eclipse on my machine running Windows XP and AVDs (Android Virtual Devices) are saved to "Documents and Settings\user\.android" by default. Is there any way to change this behavior? I have all of the other components saved in a directory on a separate partition and would like everything to be consolidated. Obviously not a huge deal but does anyone here know a workaround for this?
