Since this is a very structured approach, I find it really difficult to remember what I've done on previous projects and go back and forth easily. What are your suggestions on improving my processes? I'm open to closed and open source software (as long as the price isn't too high). I also want to implement a system where I can save most of the projects online to increase collaboration and efficiency and reduce bandwidth especially on document editing. Imagine emailing a document back and forth 5-10 times a day.

  Hi, Iam new to .Net and working on MSMQ I want to check whether the body of a message receives is valid or not , so I am doing a validation " msmqMessage.Body == null " , but this throws exception . I also found that the bodytype is 0 when this happens other wise it will be 768 So is it ok to check whether the bodytype ==0 for invalid message . I dont know what does 0 and 768 stands for , from where i can get differnt values for bodytype and what does it represent?

• Segmentation fault when creating a Phonon MediaObject

  I have music playing program made using PySide which uses Phonon to playback audio. I updated to MacOS X Mavericks a few days ago, which meant I needed to reinstall PySide. I'm not sure which of these actions has caused this, but now whenever I try to create a Phonon MediaObject I get a Segmentation Fault: 11 from Python.   I am unable to get an XMLHttpRequest object to work correctly in a Dashboard widget I am writing. I've isolated it to a trivial example not working in the global scope of the main.js file: xhr = new XMLHttpRequest; xhr.open( 'GET', "http://google.com", false ); xhr.send(''); When the last line is executed I get the error "ABORT_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception 102" (this is in the Dashcode debugger). • Does water damage a fiber optic / cat5 cable

  One of the buildings I support recently had an adventure with a broken fire sprinkler. Lots of water everywhere. One of the "drains" the water used was the vertical risers between network closets. The cable plant in this building has bundles of cat5e as well as conduit with bundles of multimode fiber optic cables. The fiber is standard multi strand plenum rated stuff that terminates in boxes that have the patches to the switches. As far as I can tell, no water got near the ends of the cables (fiber or copper) but the conduit was saturated, and is likely still saturated because there isn't any air flow to dry the cables out. My gut reaction is that while it didn't do the cables any favors, it likely also isn't going to cause any problems. A little more reading / googling around leads me to believe that the water may cause problems down the road. Some pretty pictures so everyone knows what I'm talking about: Fiber conduit: Vertical riser, going down: Vertical riser, going up: Does anyone have any experience with this sort of damage and how to deal with it? Should we just ask the insurance adjuster to add "pull new structured cable" to the list of things to be replaced? And, if the opinion is "replace it because it'll start failing randomly over time" please include links that describe the specific failure modes, so I've got some ammo to use with the adjuster.

I have added another endpoint to expose the new contract operations.   Hi, When I try to set the header properties on a WebRequest object, I get the following exception This header must be modified using the appropriate property I've tried modifying the .Headers propery and adding them that way like so webRequest.Headers.Add(HttpRequestHeader.Referer, "http://stackoverflow.com"); But still getting exceptions. I can get around this by casting the WebRequest object to a HttpWebRequest and setting the properties such as httpWebReq.Referer ="http://stackoverflow.com" But I'd like to know if there's a way to get a finer grained control over modifying headers with a request for a remote resource.   I just installed Dynamics CRM 4.0. It is working nicely except for workflows. They won't start. I turned on tracing and it appears that there is an IO error. The server is setup with IFD and SSL. No issues accessing it internally or externally. If this is correct, how would one configure a CRM server for secure access, internal and external (IFD) and still allow asynch service to hit web site? Thanks for your help!
