  • Snow Leopard - PHP 5.3.1 installed... but no PEAR?

    I've been trying to do some PHP work on my snow leopard machine.. but I've found issues when I need to use PEAR packages (as symfony handles its php plugins with PEAR). I've found some references that state that snow leopard includes PEAR.. but how come I cant find it?! Could someone confirm this.. if if so, where is my pear?

Heres's the part of DIV style: border:#446429 solid 1px; border-radius:15px; -moz-border-radius:15px; -webkit-border-radius:15px; box-shadow:3px 0px 15px #000000 inset,0px 3px 15px #000000 inset; -moz-box-shadow:3px 0px 15px #000000 inset,0px 3px 15px #000000 inset; -webkit-box-shadow:3px 0px 15px #000000 inset,0px 3px 15px #000000 inset; Rendering in Opera and Firefox are same and perfect: But Chrome renders shadow outside the border: Is it supposed to be so or I missed something important?

  • Vbscript - Compare and copy files from folder if newer than destination files

    Hi, I'm trying to design this script that's supposed to be used as a part of a logon script for alot of users. And this script is basically supposed to take a source folder and destination folder as basically just make sure that the destination folder has the exact same content as the source folder. But only copy if the datemodified stamp of the source file is newer than the destination file. I have been thinking out this basic pseudo code, just trying to make sure this is valid and solid basically. All the components I have are functional, I just need to notify (not start) a service for this. What's the correct practice, maybe using AIDL?     Hi, When executing a ajax call i received a http error code 12019. This call works most of the time, but in rare occasions i get this errorcall. I found that this error code is described as "The requested operation cannot be carried out because the handle supplied is not in the correct state." (@msdn). Can anybody tell me what this means?   • Emacs persistent folding mode

    There are plenty of ways to fold code in Emacs and I've settled in on using the outline minor mode... it works great! However, I really want my folding to be persisted when I close and re-open files. It is quite frustrating to have folding set up in a file the way I like it, only to have that lost when I restart Emacs. Has anyone found a way to keep the folding state of a file persistent?

  • Understanding the "Instantiation" of Actionscript/Flash Objects

    Could someone expand and clarify the different logical instantiations of objects in actionscript? So far it seems there are 3 layers of instantiations, for lack of a better term. The first one is declaring a variable/type. Next is instantiating that variable with something solid in the code, like a method or function? Is this just a way to glue things together? Then after that you instantiate it on the stage, is this something you have to do explicitly, or is it a side effect? Is this "3 layer" concept the correct way of looking at it, kind of like the MVC for flash app logic?

    I am evaluating the use of code generation for my flight simulation project. More specifically there is a requirement to allow "the average engineer" (no offense I am one myself) to define the differential equations that describe the dynamic system in a more natural syntax than C++ provides. The idea is to devise a abstract descriptor language that can be easily understood and edited to generate C++ code from. This descriptor is supplied by the modeling engineer and used by the ones implementing and maintaining the simulation evironment to generate code. I've got something like this in mind: model Aircraft has state x1, x2; state x3; input double : u; input bool : flag1, flag2; algebraic double : x1x2; model Engine : tw1, tw2; model Gear : gear; model ISA : isa; trim routine HorizontalFight; trim routine OnGround, General; constant double : c1, c2; constant int : ci1; begin differential equations x1' = x1 + 2.*x2; x2' = x2 + x1x2; begin algebraic equations x1x2 = x1*x2 + x1'; end model It is important to retain the flexibility of the C language thus the descriptor language is meant to only define certain parts of the definition and implementation of the model class. This way one enigneer provides the model in from of the descriptor language as examplified above and the maintenance enigneer will add all the code to read parameters from files, start/stop/pause the execution of the simulation and how a concrete object gets instatiated. My first though is to either generate two files from the descriptor file: one .h file containing declarations and one .cpp file containing the implementation of certain functions.   • Alpha-Beta cutoff

    I understand the basics of this search, however the beta cut-off part is confusing me, when beta <= value of alphabeta I can either return beta, break, or continue the loop. return beta doesn't seem to work properly at all, it returns the wrong players move for a different state of the board (further into the search tree) break seems to work correctly, it is very fast but it seems a bit TOO fast continue is a lot slower than break but it seems more correct...I'm guessing this is the right way but pseudocode on google all use 'break' but because this is pseudocode I'm not sure what they mean by 'break'
