I have this in my httpd.conf: NameVirtualHost * <VirtualHost *> ServerName localhost DocumentRoot C:/Users/Elliot/dev/UniServer/www </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *> ServerName drupal.dev DocumentRoot C:/Users/Elliot/dev/UniServer/www/drupal.dev/httpdocs </VirtualHost> and this in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts: 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.0.1 drupal.dev http://localhost resolves OK, http://drupal.dev/ does not. Any ideas welcomed...

I dont want to call the Twitter API while the tests run. Is there any Mocking Framework wich can do such things?

    I am new to TDI. I have a TDI assembly line that calls a web service (ibmdi.InvokeSoapWS) which returns the result as a string in the work attribute 'xmlString'. I then have an AttributeMap that attempts to parse the xml and extract a value (the node it seeks is a few nodes deep). var parser = system.getParser('ibmdi.SOAP'); var xmlString = work.getString('xmlString'); var entity = parser.parseRequest(xmlString); task.dump(entity); The trouble is, the parsed object does not contain an accurate representation of the XML. It contains only two attributes, the first is correctly the first node following the soap body (e.g., ns0:SomeNodeReply), the second being a node inside the first (e.g., ns0:DetailCount). And as far as I can determine, both attributes are just strings so I cannot recurse into the object graph.   • CCNet exception during build of vs2010 project

    We have two build machines. Lately, we've migrated our projects to vs2010 from vs2005. But the problem is that one of the machines occurs error during build. Another machine works well, but just one machine shows error. The differences between the machines are os and computer spec.     I'm working with PHP and need to parse a number of fairly large XML files (50-75MB uncompressed). The issue, however, is that these XML files are stored remotely and will need to be downloaded before I can parse them. Having thought about the issue, I think using a system() call in PHP in order to initiate a cURL transfer is probably the best way to avoid timeouts and PHP memory limits. Has anyone done anything like this before? Specifically, what should I pass to cURL to download the remote file and ensure it's saved to a local folder of my choice?

The first is to extract an array from the dictnode that would look like: [Name] => Joe Smith [Type] => Profile [Role] => User [Some Number] => 1 [Some Boolean] => true It's not crucial that the boolean be included, so if that adds too much complexity, I'd rather just know how to deal with the others for now. The second goal is to be able to select the value node (<string>, <integer>,etc) so that I can change the value. I would need to select it based on the text value of the preceding key element. I think the following XPath should work: //key[.=$keyname]/following-sibling[1] But I'm not sure. Basically, this whole system that Apple uses seems logical, but totally contrary to the XML is supposed to work. If I ran the world, the original XML would look more like: <dict type="array"> <value key="Name" type="string">Joe Smith</value> <value key="Type" type="string">Profile</value> <value key="Role type="string">User</value> <value key="Some Number" type="integer">1</value> <value key="Some Boolean" type="boolean">true</value> </dict> But since it is fairly logical, I am wondering if I'm missing some obvious way of handling it.

    I have become quite frustrated of WCF as I just want to use this simple scenario: Provide a webservice using REST, with a UriTemplate like /method/{param1}/{param2}/ and a 3th parameter that is sent to the service as XML as POST data. Use just plain XML, no SOAP overhead. Be able to generate a proxy in Visual Studio so a .Net using client can easily use the service (don't care about SOAP overhead here). I can create 1. and 2. but no way I can use 3. I tried adding both webHttpBinding and basicHttpBinding endpoints in my services config; I fooled around with the <services/> tag, but I just can't get this working. What am I missing here?! N.B. I checked out this article: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/186631/rest-soap-endpoints-for-a-wcf-service but nothing what is described there seems to work here?!

    My web service proxy seems to be adding special characters like "*" and "#" etc. within the xml nodes. My proxy created lists using arrays of objects. I am trying to create a generic list and then doing list.ToArray() to set the proxy MyProxyObject[] object. Is this the cause of the problem I am having? I plan on running fiddler on the request later but it is over SSL and I do not have access to the URL at the moment.     I have a spring web application (currently packaged as a war file) which I would like to be able to launch from jetty in a stand-alone configuration (small scale all-in-one deployment, and for launching in the development environment). Since I am already using spring, it seems like what I want to do is create my jetty Server and WebContext objects, and initial JNDI context using spring. However this seems to overlap with the jetty.xml method of configuring the same environment. Is one approach better? Is the does jetty.xml offer anything easier than I can get using spring?

  • asp.net mvc route clashing with physical path in IIS7

    I'm messing about with controller organisation and I've hit a problem. If I have the following physical structure /Home/HomeController.cs /Home/Index.aspx /Home/About.aspx and I request the URI: /Home/Index I get a 403 Directory Listing Denied :( (im using a custom IControllerFactory and IViewEngine to look in this non-default path) Why is this happening? (I know the 403 is because its hitting the /Home folder, but why is it hitting the folder?) Why doesn't the UrlRoutingModule rewrite the route and let the controller pick up the request? Application_BeginRequest fires, but then it seems to pass control back to IIS to try and serve from the filesystem. Is it the UrlRoutingModule that defaults to a physical path if it exists before rewriting? Is there a way to make this work? N.B. Please don't suggest relocating my controllers etc. I know this is an obvious option, but that isn't the question ;) Using IIS7 In Integrated Mode Thanks
