    Hi all, I came cross a question in my interview. Question: Array of integers will be given as the input and you should find out the middle element when sorted , but without sorting. For Example. Input: 1,3,5,4,2 Output: 3 When you sort the given input array, it will be 1,2,3,4,5 where middle element is 3. You should find this in one pass without sorting. Any solutions for this?

Does anyone know how to implement such a solution? I'm open to Windows and non-windows solutions, free and proprietary.

The element's relative position within it's parent is all I can seem to get to, and what I'm trying to get to is the point relative to the window.     I am looking a way to establish dev machine on the cloud. I want to have access for development from different places. I don't want to play with sync brunch and so on. It would be Lubuntu with 1G or 512M memory and I want to have way to setup my image. What I have found in the current moment: Amazon EC2 service Azure Virtual Machines I am pretty sure that there should be more services like this. I hope to find one specified for this purpose. I have experience to work in such way and I like it. Unfortunately it was server of certain company for projects of this company and I can't use it for my private aims. Could anybody suggest me anything?

  • From the parent, force an iFrame to redirect the entire page

    My site has an iFrame that displays content from and second site. I don't control the second site. When a user clicks on a link in the iFrame, I want it to redirect the entire page, not just the iFrame. I've seen solutions for doing this from the iFrame, but I need to do it solely from the parent. I'd prefer to do it in the code behind, but a javascript solution would be acceptable.

  • Gui for viewing Apache headers

    Is there any GUI for viewing Apache headers which are being served by a chain of Reverse Proxy Servers. I have a cloud which uses a few Proxy Servers in between the client and actual server which has to serve the original request. All servers are Unix Servers. And if there is a problem which I do not get a clue to then to be able to post them here downloading and doing an ftp of those headers with all the logs , loging in each time to each proxy server and Opening the browser and exporting the X display to some remote server each time from the chain and then observing HTTP_RESPONSES and checking the request from each of those servers and then posting log with configuration and response takes at least 2-3 hours to type an email. Is there a shorter way to do so?

  • Comparison of IPEndPoint objects not working

    I have an IPEndPoint a and b, whose IPAddress and Port are exactly the same, but the == operator is on the IPEndPoint not returning true. To make things even stranger, I tried to circumvent the problem by simply comparing the IPAddress and Port individually and it is STILL not returning true. Has anyone encountered this before? If so, I am all ears to performant solutions. We have collections of as many as 10k IPEndPoints and are querying into them via LINQ (PLINQ pretty soon).

    Hi What are the possible ways of representing data in memory in .Net (or in general)? It would be great if data could be sorted and looked up by key (or multiple keys). We are thinking to use collections, arrays, list of collections/arrays. One object would be in several collections (one sorted asc, other desc, etc.). Maybe this is not a good idea, and we would like to hear some other possible solutions. Thank you
