  I use custom routes for my URLs and my action become accessible via two URLs (not counting trailing slash and lower\upper case letters): one via my custom route /my-custom-route-url/ and one via default /controller/action. I see one possible solution -- put all controllers which use default routing (they are mostly backend) in one area, and place all others in separate area and use it without default route. May be there is a better way?

  I'm using Flash Builder 4 to build my AIR application. For a certain reason, I need to declare my package name in camelcase, and class names in lowercase: //test.as package Core { public class test { } } The folder structure is like this (the dir 'Core' matches the package name): src/ Core/ test.as However, Flash Builder shows error and it doesn't compile at all, only when I put the package name as 'core' then it compiles. Does AS3 syntax allow uppercase letters in package name? Or just because Flash Builder implicitly disallows this?

  Is there a way to connect to a SQL-CE database as a stream? Specifically, our ASP.Net application builds small SDF at runtime for off-line needs. When the user is done with his off-line duties, he uploads the SDF and the application imports the new and updated data. No problems there. Currently, we're saving the uploaded SDF to the web-server's hard-drive and connecting to the file. Can we connect to the uploaded SDF without saving it to the hard-drive? We are using the DbProviderFactory.CreateConnection method, but we're open to suggestions.

• How do I design the file storage issue?

  I am working on an application that creates video files and stores them in a folder in the C:\ drive. I speculate that there will be a large number of these files in the future and we would run out of disk space at some point of time (on our VPS). When the time comes that we have to upgrade, we either plan to use one of the Cloud providers to store files or our existing provider can add another disk (say D:\ drive). Either way, I would want to design the app now in a way that in future, moving to different locations would not be an issue and would be transparent to the end user. The code that creates these files supports 2 ways: myObj.SetOutputToDisk(<path to store>); or myObj.SetOutputToMemoryStream(ms); If we go with the Cloud architecture, I assume we might have the following combination: Cloud Files + Existing VPS or Cloud Files + Cloud Windows Server Given the unknowns at this time, how would I go about designing this?

  Isn't that nicely recursive? I've got a portable command prompt on my external drive, and it has a nice .bat file to configure some initial settings, but I'd like more! Here's what I know how to set from .bat: Colors = (color XY) where x and y are hex digits for the predefined colors Prompt = (prompt $p$g) sets the prompt to "C:\etc\etc " the default prompt Title = (title "text") sets the window title to "text" Screen Size = (mode con: cols=XX lines=YY) sets the columns and lines size of the window Path = (SET PATH=%~d0\bin;%PATH%) sets up local path to my tools and appends the computer's path So that's all great. But there are a few settings I can't seem to set from the bat. • Access SDExplorer (System Folder) from my C# app

  Hello everyone I am trying out Windows Live SkyDrive, and I installed SDExplorer (http://www.cloudstorageexplorer.com/) It works by adding my SkyDrive folder to Windows Explorer, but it does not get a drive name or anything, so how can I access that drive/folder from my C# application? When I go into the folder and look at the address bar it says "Computer\SDExplorer". Directory.GetDirectories(@"\Computer\SDExplorer") does not work, because it translates to "C:\Computer\SDExplorer". I would like to be able to create a small application that can create folders and upload files to my SkyDrive account. Anybody know how these special folder/drives work? - I noticed MozyHome appears in the same way in my Windows Explorer.

Therefore, we did a sync and then this to flush the cache and buffers: echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches and directly afterwards the I/O wait and service times virtually went through the roof, and everything on the machine felt like slow motion. During the next few hours the latency recovered and everything was as before - small to medium lags in short, unpredictable intervals. Now my question is: does anybody have any idea what might cause this annoying behaviour? Is it the first indication of the disk array or the raid controller dying, or something that can be easily mended by rebooting? (At the moment we're very reluctant to do this, however, because we're afraid that the disks might not come back up again.) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Chris. Edited to add: we do see one or two processes go to 'D' state in top, one of which seems to be kjournald rather frequently. If I'm not mistaken, however, this does not indicate the processes causing the latency, but rather those affected by it - correct me if I'm wrong.   At work, we 7 or 8 hardrives we dispatch over the country, each have unique labels which are not sequential. Ideally drives are plugged in our desktop, then gets folders from the server that correspond to the drive name. Sometimes, only one hard drive gets plugged in sometimes multiples, possibly in the future more will be added. Each is mounts to /Volumes/ and it's identifier; so for example /Volumes/f00, where f00 is the identifier. What I want to happen, scan volumes see if any any of the drives are plugged in, then checks the server to see if the folder exists, if ir does copy folder and recursive folders. Here is what I have so far, it checks if the drive exists in Volumes: #!/bin/sh #Declare drives in the array ARRAY=( foo bar long ) #Get the drives from the array DRIVES=${#ARRAY[@]} #Define base dir to check BaseDir="/Volumes" #Define shared server fold on local mount points #I plan to use AFP eventually, but for the sake of ease #using a local mount.   I have an external hard drive on which I have backed up files several times. Some files were modified between backups, others were not. Some may have been renamed. Now I'm running out of space, and I'd like to clean up duplicate files. My idea was to md5sum every file on the drive, then look for duplicates, and diff the relevant files (just in case, haha). Is this the best way to do this? What are some other methods of checking for duplicate files?
