    I want to grep an environment variable env | grep ABC_IJK[1,2] currenlty defined variables are like this ABC_IJK1=123 ABC_IJK1_XYZ=sn123:345 ABC_IJK2=999 ABC_IJK2_XYZ=sn321:999 I only want to get only this ABC_IJK1=123 ABC_IJK2=999 get number of connections sum them(not 123 + 999) and save in N1 (this one has 2 connection) so N1=2 get number of connections sum them and save in N2 for other machine (if this have four) so N2=4 If the value is not there or the variable is not present then N1=1 for below: ABC_IJK1= ABC_IJK2=123 Then need to compare it with a MAX_CONNECTION variable Thanks

    I've just setup an application under the default web site installed by IIS 7. I've tried loading both http://localhost and http://localhost/myappname in both cases, all I am getting is a blank page, no errors. And although directory browsing is enabled, I can't even see a list of the files in that directory. Any ideas why this is? Thanks in advance...

  • Problem retrieving HTML5 video duration

    UPDATE: Ok so although I haven't solved this problem exactly, but I did figure out a work around that handles my biggest concern... the user experience. First the video doesn't begin loading until after the viewer hits the play button, so I am assuming that the duration information wasn't available to be pulled (I don't know how to fix this particular issue... although I assume that it would involve just loading the video metadata separately from the video, but I don't even know if that is possible). So to get around the fact that there is no duration data, I decided to hide the duration info (and actually the entire control) completely until you hit play. I know... its cheating. But for now it makes me happy :) That said... if anyone knows how to load the video metadata separately from the video file... please share. I think that should completely solve this problem. I am working on building a HTML5 video player with a custom interface, but I am having some problems getting the video duration information to display. My HTML is real simple (see below) <video id="video" poster="image.jpg" controls> <source src="video_path.mp4" type="video/mp4" /> <source src="video_path.ogv" type="video/ogg" /> </video> <ul class="controls"> <li class="time"><p><span id="timer">0</span> of <span id="duration">0</span></p></li> </ul> And the javascript I am using to get and insert the duration is var duration = $('#duration').get(0); var vid_duration = Math.round(video.duration); duration.firstChild.nodeValue = vid_duration; The problem is nothing happens. I know the video file has the duration data because if I just use the default controls, it displays fine. But the real strange thing is if I put alert(duration) in my code like so alert(duration); var vid_duration = Math.round(video.duration); duration.firstChild.nodeValue = vid_duration; then is works fine (minus the annoying alert that pops up). Any ideas what is happening here or how I can fix it?

    When I use the [Debug] button in Gallio, the breakpoints in my unit tests are not hitting. The unit tests are written with MbUnit/Gallio. I am using MbUnit/Gallio version 3.1 build 397 with Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2. The unit tests run to completion in Gallio Icarus, but they run past the breakpoints. I see the symbol tables loading in VS, but it does not stop at the expected breakpoint, so I am unable to debug it.

    We have a managed app, that uses an assembly. That assembly uses some unmanaged C++ code. The Managed C++ code is in a dll, that depends on several other dlls. All of those Dlls are loaded by this code. As near as I can understand it, as soon as we attempt to use an ImageDoc object, the dll that contains that assembly is loaded and as part of that load, the static constructor is called which in turn causes several other DLLs to be loaded as well. What I'm trying to figure out, is how do we defer loading of those DLLs so that we don't run smack dab into this loader lock that is being kicked out because of the static constructor. The strange thing is that the exception only appears to be happening while running within the debugger, not while running outside the debugger.

The one feature in C99 that I really like is the ability to declare variables anywhere in code, rather than just at the top of methods, but does this flag causes any problems or create incompatibilities for iPhone or Cocoa apps?

I know pandora.com talks about a panda ravaging it's way through the office, twitter's has the little birds floating around or something, sourceforge had one with some funny robots the other day.     There is a CLOB field we are trying to insert html content and sometimes we are getting an error as: ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column When i used nhibernate profiler and copy the query to Toad, it asked me to enter values for variables called "NBSP"! Is this means that nhibernate doesnt escape special chars? if so how can i tell it to escape special chars globally?

  • JSON, Ajax login and signup form problem, critique

    Here is my problem; indexdeneme2.php has two forms Sign up and Login form, and there is validation.js and login.js which are handling the AJAX and JSON response, there are validate.php and login.php which are my scripts for validating and login. When you sign up, it sends the data to validate.php perfectly and validate.php response with JSON perfectly, validate.js must show the error in #error div. validation.js works perfectly if it is working alone. I use same kind of script for login form. Login.php also works perfectly it responses with JSON and login.js shows the errors are appear in #errorlogin div. But this works when login.js works alone. When I try to work login.js and validate.js together, it is not working. validate.php and login.php works perfectly but login.js and validation.js are not working together. They can't handle the responses coming from php scripts. It is not showing the errors in #errorlogin and #error div. They intercept each other I guess. By the way if you can critique my login.php and validate.php I will be really appreciated.   • Accessing UI thread of a form?

    I'm using C# and I'm making an application where a lot of UI loading must be done in background. Is it possible to do it unsafely and ignore InvalidOperationExceptions? The only way I found it to put try...catch statements around every single line of code but this will take ages as there is too much code.
