• What to use for "localhost" that includes PHP/SQL functionality?

  I really do not want to install Linux at the moment, I would have to borrow a USB key, move files, format it, flash it, format it again, move files back, give it back... What would you recommend that is lightweight, easily and cleanly uninstallable afterwards (will install Linux when I get a new DVD-ROM, which will be in ~2 weeks), that also supports PHP and SQL? To be precise, I want to install a Wordpress blog, a few plugins, etc, and develop a theme. If there is no such thing for Windows (7, x64 if that matters), let me know too, I will borrow the USB key then (even though it's a pain).

  My website has been giving me intermittent errors when trying to perform any Ajax activities. The message I get is Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near ' So its obviously some sort of server timeout or the server's just returning back mangled garbage. This generally, unfortunately not always, happens when the site has been idle for a while. Anybody else been able to overcome this? Thanks

• Boost Filesystem Library Visual C++ Compile Error

  I'm having the following issue just trying to compile/run some of the example programs with the Boost Filesystem Library. I'm using MS-Visual C++ with Visual Studio .NET (2003). I've installed the Boost libraries, version 1.38 and 1.39 (just in case there was a version problem) using the BoostPro installers. If I just try to include /boost/filesystem/operations.hpp I receive the following error: \boost_1_38\boost\system\error_code.hpp(230) : error C2039: 'type' : is not a member of 'boost::enable_if<boost::system::is_error_condition_enum<Cond,boost::detail::enable_if_default_T>' Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm really looking for something like less that I can pipe my errors into that will collapse the template parameter lists by default, maybe with some nice highlighting so that my errors are actually readable.   You all know how annoying is this: I do have a log system and the correct error is well explicit there, but I want to give a better message to the user. • Rewriting usort function because of fatal error (PHP bug)

  The two following usort functions throw fatal error Base lambda function for closure not found in our productive environment (PHP 5.4). This seems to be a known PHP bug that should be fixed by now (https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52144), but it still occurs for us. Anyway, we unfortunately don't have time to figure out what's wrong with our PHP configurations etc. We would like to rewrite these two functions without the use of anonymous functions, so that the error doesn't occur anymore. • PHP imap_search not detecting all messages in gmail inbox

  When I run a very simple imap_search on my GMail inbox, the search returns less messages than it should. Here is the script that anyone with a GMail account can run. $host = '{imap.gmail.com:993/imap/ssl}'; $user = 'foo'; $pass = 'bar'; $imapStream = imap_open($host,$user,$pass) or die(imap_last_error()); $messages = imap_search($imapStream,"ALL"); echo count($messages); imap_close($imapStream); This returns 39 messages. But, I've got 100 messages in my inbox, some in conversations, some forwarded from another account (SquirrelMail, FWIW). Can anyone duplicate these results, and/or tell me what's going on?   In my project I have it set up so that all the tables in the DB has the property "id" and then I have the entity objects inherit from the EntityBase class using a repository pattern.   Has anyone ever thought to attempt to modify the default ASP.NET Server error page to provide a link BACK to the error source in Visual Studio? I've never seen anything that does it, but it just seems like it would be a helluva nice feature and I think about it in the back of my mind every time an error occurs when I have to manually go find it in the source. It would just be nice to be able to click a link to take me straight there. Anyone written any, or know of any solutions for this. What I would like to see here is (1) what production the parser was in when it expected the '"' (I've multiple ones) and (2) where in the input this production started parsing (which is an indicator where the opening quote is in the input). Does anybody know how I can improve the error messages and include more information about the actual internal parsing state when the error happens (perhaps something like a production rule stacktrace or whatever can be given reasonably here to better identify the error location). BTW, the above "line 32, column 1" is actually the EOT position and hence of no use here, of course.

  I am simply trying to hide a datatip on a chart if the hit data item (yfield item) is == 101 for two differnt series an areaseries and a line series. The following funciton works in IE but throws an error in firefox. • How to catch this low level MySQL (?) error in PHP/Magento

  When I'm executing the following statement in Magento with a really large $sku, the execution terminates without any errors thrown what so ever. There are no errors in either Magento's, Apache's or PHP's error logs. Mage::getModel('catalog/product')-loadByAttribute('sku', $sku); Question: How do I catch the error? I've tried to set custom error handlers, and for testing purposes I've also managed to trigger error situations where each of the error handler functions are invoked. But when running the previously mentioned Magento code with a large $sku, none of the error handling functions are executed. error_reporting( -1 ); set_error_handler( array( 'Error', 'captureNormal' ) ); set_exception_handler( array( 'Error', 'captureException' ) ); register_shutdown_function( array( 'Error', 'captureShutdown' ) ); For completeness, this is the $sku I'm passing to loadByAttribute().   It's an idea I've heard repeated in a handful of places. Some more or less acknowledging that once trying to solve a problem purely in SQL exceeds a certain level of complexity you should indeed be handling it in code. The logic behind the idea is that for the large majority of cases, the database engine will do a better job at finding the most efficient way of completing your task than you could in code. Especially when it comes to things like making the results conditional on operations performed on the data. Arguably with modern engines effectively JIT'ing + caching the compiled version of your query it'd make sense on the surface. The question is whether or not leveraging your database engine in this way is inherently bad design practice (and why). The lines become blurred further when all the logic exists inside the database and you're just hitting it via an ORM.

  I'm currently learning wcf for an up and coming project. The service I am creating is using MSMQ to update the database, but the database can't accept messages at certain times. The service is going to be a windows service. The one thing I am coming up against at the moment is how I can get the service to stop reading messages from the queue at these times, for instance lets say I don't want to read messages from the queue on sundays. How would I go about implementing this. So that the client can send messages to the queue that update the database but the service doesn't read the messages until monday, so that the database gets all the updates on the monday? I have started looking at creating a customhost, but I'm not sure if I'm heading in the right direction with this. Thanks in advance.

  I happened to fire up Console.app today and found lots of these messages in the log: 13/12/2011 22:54:09.291 de.devolo.networkservice: [pktifc] write: Device not configured They are being generated 8 times every 5-second interval. My network is setup as shown in the attached diagram where there are two Devolo powerline network adapters connecting the wireless access point upstairs to my modem/wifi access point/dhcp server device downstairs. I want to know what these messages mean, whether they are a problem and if so, how to solve it.

But what i want to achieve here is count of arg consumers Total of ARG_TOTALAMT total of that subquery PAID difference between PAID & Total amount.
