    I'm using Visual Studio 2010, and in my C++/CLI project there are two Code Analysis settings: Enable Code Analysis on Build Enable Code Analysis for C/C++ on Build My question is about the second setting. I've enabled it and it takes a long time to run and it doesn't find much. Do you recommend enabling this feature? Why?

The expected behavior happened as long as the debugger attached to the running program, but when the program ran without debugger attached the exception threw.     Is there a way to PHP make asynchronous http calls? I don't care about the response, I just want to do something like file_get_contents(), but not wait on the request to finish before executing the rest of my code. This would be super useful for setting off "events" of a sort in my application, or triggering long processes. Any ideas?

    Wondering why a particular binary write operation in VB is so slow. The function reads a Byte array from memory and dumps it into a file like this: Open Destination For Binary Access Write As #1 Dim startP, endP As Long startP = BinaryStart endP = UBound(ReadBuf) - 1 Dim i as Integer For i = startP To endP DoEvents Put #1, (i - BinaryStart) + 1, ReadBuf(i) Next Close #1 For two megabytes on a slower system, this can take up to a minute. Can anyone tell me why this is so slow?

I'd like to be able to run the specs frequently but the JVM takes so long to startup it's becoming a real time drain.     When I try to compile with sbt some code containing an instance of a Table from this library I get this error: java.lang.AssertionError: assertion failed: unsatisfiable cyclic dependency in 'class Toolkit' It seems to work with Java so I don't understand why it fails in Scala. Here is the toolkit class: http://code.google.com/p/table-layout/source/browse/branches/v1/tablelayout/src/com/esotericsoftware/tablelayout/Toolkit.java As long as I get this error I'm totally stopped in my project :(.

    Simplified table structure (the tables can't be merged at this time): TableA: dts_received (datetime) dts_completed (datetime) task_a (varchar) TableB: dts_started (datetime) task_b (varchar) What I would like to do is determine how long a task took to complete. The join parameter would be something like ON task_a = task_b AND dts_completed < dts_started The issue is that there may be multiple date-times that occur after the dts_completed. How do I create a join that only returns the first tableB-datetime that occurs after the tableA-datetime?

    When using tabs with storyboard in iOS 5, some of them may take quite a long time to initialize when switching to it (for example, a tab containing GLKViewController). This happens because an amount of work in viewDidLoad method in this controller could be very big. Is there a way to initialize particular view controller (and call it's viewDidLoad method) defined in the storyboard at early stage - when an application starts? Having done this, the delay should be eliminated.
