• Network outside internal not reaching TMG Forefront 2010 (Hyper-V environment)

  Below is my environment: I have 1 physical machine running Windows 2008 R2, with the Hyper-V role. This machine has 3 physical NICs: One for Internet One for Internal Network One for Wireless Network All 3 have their respective Virtual Networks in Hyper-V, and I have an extra Private virutal machine network for a DMZ Network. In one of the virtual machines, I have TMG Forefront 2010 SP1 installed, with all 4 networks available to it. If a ping www.google.com or 10.50.75.21 from the Forefront VM, I get answer backs without a problem. If I try to ping a machine at the Perimiter network or the Wireless network, it doesn't get routed back to Forefront, and it's the default gateway on all Networks. When I use Log & Reports to monitor packets from Wireless network and Perimiter network, I don't get any packets link PING or HTTP that I try to send. But I do get a lot of spoofing messages for NETBIOS broadcasts... it's like Forefront thinks it's coming from a different network, but I don't know why. Please Help! Tks

• 500 - An error has occurred! DB function reports no errors when adding new article in Joomla!

  I have an article that I want to publish on my Joomla! site. Every time I click apply or save. I get error 500 - An error has occurred! DB function reports no errors. I have no idea why this error comes up, al I can think is that it's a server error. I'm using TinyMCE to type articles together with Joomla! 1.5.11. Updated: I turned on Maximum error reporting in Joomla! and in the article manager I tried to save the article and got these couple of errors. Please check screenshot I tried adding <?php ini_set('error_reporting', E_ALL); error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('log_errors',TRUE); ini_set('html_errors',TRUE); ini_set('display_errors',true); ?> at the top of the index.php pages for Joomla! but it does not show any errors. I checked the error logs on the server and also no errors come up. I managed to publish the article via phpMyAdmin but then something else happens. I try to access to article from the front end, by clicking on the link to the article, but only a blank page comes up. This is really weird, since the error log does not show any information. So I assume the error needs to be coming from Joomla! • IE6 iframe anchor links moves iframe up

  Hi, Having a real head scratching moment... I have a site where there is a footer div that always sits at the bottom of the screen (26px high), and above that I have an iFrame which sizes to 100% of the remaining height. This works well. Even clicking on anchor links inside the iframe works as it should in all browsers (apart from IE6). Unfortunately I still have to support IE6. What is happening in IE6 is that the footer jumps up the page with the iframe still above it when I click on an anchor link. The top part of the iframe is cut off. Even the iframe's scroll bars disappear under the top of the browser. I have created some screen shots to show you what I mean. I have blurred out the actual data for now.   I'm attempting to use the jQuery jFeed plugin for parsing an Atom, GeoRSS feed and I'm running into issues extracting the information I need. For example, I need to extract the summary element and I would like to render the contents in a div on my HTML page. Additionally, I'd like to extract the contents from the georss:point elements and pass them into Google Maps to render them as points on a map. The problem is that it seems jFeed is stripping out the GeoRSS-related information. For example, I can extract the title element without issues, but it seems it doesn't extract the summary or georss:point elements, at all. • How to Zip one IEnumerable with itself

  I am implementing some math algorithms based on lists of points, like Distance, Area, Centroid, etc. Just like in this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2227828/find-the-distance-required-to-navigate-a-list-of-points-using-linq That post describes how to calculate the total distance of a sequence of points (taken in order) by essentially zipping the sequence "with itself", generating the sequence for Zip by offsetting the start position of the original IEnumerable by 1. So, given the Zip extension in .Net 4.0, assuming Point for the point type, and a reasonable Distance formula, you can make calls like this to generate a sequence of distances from one point to the next and then to sum the distances: var distances = points.Zip(points.Skip(1),Distance); double totalDistance = distances.Sum(); Area and Centroid calculations are similar in that they need to iterate over the sequence, processing each pair of points (points[i] and points[i+1]). I thought of making a generic IEnumerable extension suitable for implementing these (and possibly other) algorithms that operate over sequences, taking two items at a time (points[0] and points[1], points[1] and points[2], ..., points[n-1] and points[n] (or is it n-2 and n-1 ...) and applying a function. My generic iterator would have a similar signature to Zip, but it would not receive a second sequence to zip with as it is really just going to zip with itself.   I've been playing with jQuery in an ASP.NET project and am finding some odd behavior with the .fadeIn() and fadeOut() functions. In the below example, a click on the button (ID Button1) is supposed to cause both the span of text with ID Label1 and the the button with the ID TextBox1 to do the following things: Fade Out Change the text of both the text box and the span of text to be You clicked the button Fade In Based on the browser I'm using, I get 3 different scenarios, and each element functions differently in each situation. Here's what happens when I actually click the button: TextBox1: In IE8, the text box fades out, changes text, then fades back in In IE8 Compatibility View, the text box fades out, changes text, then fades back in. However, the text in the box looks a little different than before the button was clicked. In FireFox 3.5.8, the text box doesn't fade out (but it does "pause" for the amount of time the fade would take), does change the text, then seems to "pause" again where it would be fading in. Label1: In IE8, the label doesn't fade out (but it does "pause" for the amount of time the fade would take), does change the text, then seems to "pause" again where it would be fading in. But now I need to prevent the page from going to the script page or refreshing. When the user clicks the submit button, I want nothing to change except a message displaying successfully changed or error. • Update to Easy Slider 1.7 made all my JQuery code stop working.

  I'm pretty novice as a JQuery user goes. I've got some experience implementing different plugins but would be lost trying to customize my own. I can't share the exact site details with you due to a NDA, so I hope someone can give me a little help. I've got a project due today (Just HTML/CSS/JQuery). It has a lightbox, show/hide login menu and a slider is Easy Slider 1.5. Everything was working together, until I attempted to update to Easy Slider 1.7 (see link on same page, I'm too new to post more than 1 link). When I did so, JQuery stopped working for all the plugins. I've attempted to revert back to the original state, by undoing my work (didn't do much), ad JQuery remains broken. Firebug Error Console shared no errors. I can't find anything in the code no matter how hard I look at it. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this JQuery problem? Delivery is supposed to be tonight for the project.   Greetings Guru's, This is a little hard to explain, but I'll give it a shot. I have a quick question regarding to the .live() function in JQuery. I'm going to simplify the example here. I have a page "index.php" that has a container "#display_files_container" which is populated with anchor links that are generated dynamically by a different page "process.php". The links are loaded into that same <div> when those links are selected based on the attributes of that link. This works..... you can click though the directory tree and it loads the new links every time. However, it seems to want to .load() the process.php file many times over for one click. The number of times process.php is loaded seems to increase the more the links are clicked. So for example you can click on a link and firebug reports that process.php was loaded 23 times..... Eventually I would imagine I would record a stackoverflow. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Are there any ways that I can assure that .live() loads the process.php file only once?   I've been assigned to upgrade/rewrite a webapp that my company uses to schedule conference calls. One of the goals of the upgrade is to improve integration between the application and our user's Outlook calendars (and ideally other calendar programs as well). At present, when a user is viewing the details of a scheduled conference call on the webapp, they can click an "Add to Outlook calendar" link, which points them to a dynamically generated .ical file. On most of our users' systems, Outlook opens the file by default, bringing up the "create calendar appointment" window with the concall information pre-populated. This link creates a 1-time appointment only, and has to be clicked on for each occurrence of the call. So if a call happened every Monday in June, you would have to click 4 links to add all the appointments to your calendar. This is the full extent of our current level of integration. Ideally, we will be able to upgrade the system so that users can "subscribe" to a con call, which would mean not just the current call, but all calls in a reoccurring series would appear in the user's calendar with a single click. If one call in a series was cancelled, or rescheduled, that call's appointment would change in the users' calendar, without the user having to do anything, and without upsetting the rest of the series' appointments. Also, any changes to the call's info (say, the phone number was changed) would automatically be updated in the Outlook calendars of anyone who subscribed, without them having to come back to the webapp to double-check that their information is up to date. Ideally this would also work with other popular calendar programs, as well as Google Calendar. I don't know if we'll be able to achieve that level of integration, but I'd like to get as close to that as we can. Additional details and challenges: We aren't running Exchange on a public server, and I'm not likely to be able to get that changed Assume that our users are basically "the general internet public". Our users are not members of our office's network, nor can they be. We can't set up network logins or Exchange accounts for them. Some of our users are not using Outlook, but some other calendar program. Of the ones that are using Outlook, not all are using the same version. We have users in more than 50 countries that are using this webapp. Synchronization would be one-directional. Nobody can make changes in their own calendars and expect the server to reflect them/replicate them to other users Current conference calling application is written in ColdFusion. Rewrite will probably be in ASP.NET, but I haven't confirmed that yet. Solutions that work with either or both technologies are appreciated. I know that .ical files can theoretically contain more than one event, but in my own experiments I haven't had success in getting Outlook (2003) to add more than one event at a time using the .ical file method. Maybe someone knows how to set up a multi-event .ical file that Outlook will accept? Could a link to such an .ical file be "subscribed" to? Is there such thing as a calendar RSS feed? Could I simulate running an exchange server? Any other ideas? Thanks everyone!

  Currently I'm using zRSSFeed to parse a Menalto Gallery2 RSS feed, and only get about 5 details: link, description, title, etc. There are about 11 items within the tag. How can I get zRSSFeed to return all of them, including <media:thumbnail url="http..."> which includes a colon? • MVC Datatables Dialog Not staying where dialog opens

  I have created a view that displays a datatable with a clickable link that opens a jQuery UI dialog box. The users wanted a search options (8 dropdowns to narrow the search) at top of page, followed by the datatable with the 100 viewable records. If I scroll down the datatable to the bottom viewable record, click the link to open the dialog box. The dialog opens relative to the link clicked, but the focus go back to the top of the page which causes the user to have scroll back down to the dialog box. Ok, I thought I would just set the focus to the dialog box. BUt it is being ignored which make me think that this is something within the MVC realm. I even tried to wrap the focus inside a ready function thinking it would be one of the last things process. When I define the dailog, it is pretty basic. I even tried to set the position attribute, but it did not change the problem. Has someone had this problem and can send me in the right direction?
