  • forslash as the default path separator in windows?

    Since windows now accept the forslash "/" as a path separator in addition to its default backslash path separator, so that both c:\windows and c:/windows are valid paths (though the later is invalid in cygwin since backslash is escape char) Is there any chance we could set the forslash as the default path separator on windows (GUI), so that the address bar in windows will automatically use it? I heard its possible in a powershell session but anyone knows if it is also possible in a CMD session? Thanks M

    Hi, Is it possible to set multiple properties of an NSManagedObject and have the NSFetchedResultsController call controllerDidChangeContent: only once? In other words, is it possible to say something like: [managedObject beginChanges]; [managedObject setPropertyA:@"Foo"]; [managedObject setPropertyB:@"Bar"]; [managedObject commitChanges]; and then have the NSFetchedResultsController call controllerDidChangeContent: (and the other methods) only one time?     This is a really weird question and I apologize: I've been asked if it's possible not to import our blog from Wordpress to Drupal but just keep it in Wordpress as an archive and re-direct our users say from hostname/blog/... to hostname/wordpress/... when a URL matches the Wordpress URL pattern. I've never heard of anyone trying this and I'm wondering about pitfalls and whether or not it's even possible. Thanks! D

The serialize-string will be inserted in a mySQL-database, so it would be fine if all checkboxes would be inserted and not only the ones that is ticked(on). it's possible to make on column in the database for each of the checkboxes, and use this if/else-statement: if(isset($_GET['checkbox'])) { // It's checked! } else { // not checked! } but its a bit unappropriate...

    Is it possible to create a small program that will run, without recompiling and without emulators, on both Windows CE 6 AND Windows XP SP3? From my knowledge, this isn't possible. Source code needs to be recompiled for the target platform. However, a hardware manufacturer for embedded boards is claiming otherwise. The application isn't anything complex, just a simple benchmarking tool analysing floating point operations, CPU ticks etc, and displaying the results on a plain GUI.

I have to share these artifact for other teams(developers), but javadoc every time has another one URL(I know that it's possible to get it like .lastFinished), and get's new place on Build Machine. Is it possible on each build replace old artifact with new one because I don't need need previous versions? And have independent from build version URL for accessing.
