  • Cube project doesn't work because of permissions

    I'm doing "Multidimensional Project" with MS SQL Server 2012 (Server Data Tools - Visual Studio 2010 Shell). I can't run (debug) it. If the data source's impersonation information is set to "use the service account", this error occures: Error 2 Internal error: The operation terminated unsuccessfully. 0 0 Error 3 OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Login failed for user 'NT Service\MSSQLServerOLAPService'.; 28000. 0 0 Error 4 Errors in the high-level relational engine. A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'Data Warehouse', Name of 'Data Warehouse'. 0 0 Error 5 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension, with the ID of 'Items', Name of 'Items' was being processed. 0 0 Error 6 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'Id' attribute of the 'Items' dimension from the 'Warehouse_MultidimensionalProject_Cube' database was being processed. 0 0 Error 7 Server: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed. 0 0 I guessed that this account has no premissions but (1) I coudn't even add this account (it seems that it doesn't exist) and (2) how is that even possible for it to not have built-it poremissions?   • Strange error inserting new relationship data in core-data

    My app will allow users to create a personalised list of events from a large list of events. I have a table view which simply displays these events, tapping on one of them takes the user to the event details view, which has a button "add to my events". In this detailed view I own the original event object, retrieved via an NSFetchedResultsController and passed to the detailed view (via a table cell, the same as the core data recipes sample). I have no trouble retrieving/displaying information from this "event".     I have a webpage where the user can upload an excel file. I'm trying 2 different files - one works without a problem, and the other one gives me this error: Error: Length cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: length I know that sometimes this occurs when the file size is zero, but that is not the case here. Can anyon shed light on this issue? Please let me know if you need more info.

    I'm still feeling my way around C++, and am a complete ATL newbie, so I apologize if this is a basic question. I'm starting with an existing VC++ executable project that has functionality I'd like to expose as an ActiveX object (while sharing as much of the source as possible between the two projects). I've approached this by adding an ATL project to the solution in question, and in that project have referenced all the .h and .cpp files from the executable project, added all the appropriate references, and defined all the preprocessor macros. So far so good. But I'm getting a compiler error in one file (HideDesktop.cpp). (The ATL AX project, naturally enough, defines _ATL_DLL, but I can't see where that would make a difference.) My current workaround is to use a normal "dumb" pointer, like so: IActiveDesktop *pIActiveDesktop; HRESULT hr = ::CoCreateInstance(CLSID_ActiveDesktop, NULL, // no outer unknown CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER, IID_IActiveDesktop, (void**)&pIActiveDesktop); And that works, provided I remember to release it. I found that this error code is described as "The requested operation cannot be carried out because the handle supplied is not in the correct state." (@msdn). Can anybody tell me what this means?   • bing api 2.0 sdk json samples got syntax error in Firefox browser

    I just downloaded the Bing API 2.0 SDK. There are several html files in Bing API 2.0 SDK\Samples\JSON directory. I replaced the AppId in the JavaScript with my new AppId. These pages run fine in IE but I got 'syntax error' in Firefox, Firebug console. Does anyone have similar issues? What is in the page that is causing the 'syntax error'? Thank you very much. Jazure

    I'm getting an error when I run the Spree sample data. It occurs when Spree tries to load in the product data, specifically the product images. I'm even able to fetch the @self feed, but for some reason I get error 404 when trying to do the same thing with @consumption: "Download of https://www.googleapis.com/buzz/v1/activities/v.kiril/@consumption failed: Error downloading https://www.googleapis.com/buzz/v1/activities/v.kiril/@consumption - server replied: Not Found" I've got this url from the Google Buzz API.
