  I am new to iphone development.I created a application , in which the first tab bar view ,load a web page and in second tab bar view ,it parses a xml file and display the content in the table view. When i click the second tab bar, the tab bar view is seen only after the parsing is done, till the parsing time the tab bar appears like unselected.I want to display the tabbar view with activity indicator when the parsing is done.How can i achieve it.Please help me out.Thanks.

  Here's an example of the type of background image I'm talking about, the iPhone Notes app... Clearly, there's a pattern in it. My question is, if this were an iPad app and the background image was twice the size, would there be any significant benefits to taking advantage of this pattern by tiling the image?   The Xcode data modeler shows me those three different int data types. When I would write code, which data types do these really correspond to on the iPhone? Are they all simply NSInteger, wrapped in an NSNumber? As far as I see it, NSNumber only differentiates between int an NSInteger... so I guess those three end up beeing pretty much the same?
