I want a map provider (like OpenStreetMaps) that : I can use offline Contain Searchable Street names (not only a rendered image) for commercial use Free or at low price The problem with OpenStreetMaps that it doesn't provide detailed map for most cities in Egypt.

Is this something I should worry about? If so, where should I look to find the root of the issue? The app works OK, but I'm just worried that this might be an AppStore approval issue.

  • Get path of inserted usb in dbus

    Hello, I'm writing a program in python using dbus that detects inserted usb drives and manipulates the files inside of them. However, I can't seem to retrieve the path on my system of an inserted usb. Is there someway that I can get the path of an inserted usb in dbus, perhaps by using the GetProperty() method? I have tried using GetProperty("block.device"), but that returns /dev/sdc1 which doesn't exist on my system. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Is it possible to get the page size (from e.g. a PDF document page) using GhostScript? I have seen the "bbox" device, but it returns the bounding box (it differs per page), not the TrimBox (or CropBox) of the PDF pages. Then, the native software after autorun and install, sends a couple of IOCTLs to tell the device to reappear as other things. I can see them in procexp.   • Flash of a Bullet in the top left corner of the search results

    I am using a UISearchDisplayController and SearchBar initialised from a nib. when the search is being run I get a flash of a small circle what looks like a "bullet" in the top left corner of the search results. [See attached screenshot] It occurs in the simulator and on the device sporadically I have looked through my nib and I am not adding any stray views and was wondering if anyone else had this issue or knows how to get rid of it? thanks @interface SearchTabViewController : UITableViewController

  • how to programatically determine Bluetooth master/slave roles?

    So in a bluetooth piconet, there is one master with upto seven slaves. The master sets the clock and frequency hop that the slaves sync with. But is there a way to determine which device is the master and which is the slave? In the supplied samples, they specify that the buffers below should be in USB ram and use a pic18f4550. unsigned char readbuff[64] absolute 0x500; // Buffers should be in USB RAM, please consult datasheet unsigned char writebuff[64] absolute 0x540; But the pic18f4550 datasheet says USB ram ranges from 400h to 4FFh So why does their example work when their buffers appear not to be between 400h to 4FFh?   • Why am I getting GKVoiceChatServiceUnableToConnectError? What's wrong?

    I'm trying to implement GK's voice chat. I have the underlying network done over wifi instead of bluetooth. Between the simulator and my test device, I was able to accept the invitation. But immediately after, I get the call didNotStartWithParticipantID, with the following error: Error Domain=GKVoiceChatServiceErrorDomain Code=32002 UserInfo=0x3b286f0 "Network conditions prevented connection." Any ideas? What's causing this?
