  • mysqli_query SELECT FROM WHERE [ partial match ] ?

    Hi guys, I have a database that a time filed that is stored in this format "2010.06.04. | 18:53 01". What I need is to select rows that have a specific date, for example "2010.06.04." Right now I am doing it my first selecting all rows and then looping through them and adding ones with the specified date to a new array. Maybe there is an easier way to do it and I somehow can select it using mysqli_query? Thanks!

  • Parsing EXIF's "ExposureTime" using PHP

    Re, One photo with exposure being 1/640 has the EXIF field of "ExposureTime" eq. "15625/10000000". I am not sure why some photos display this value in a readable format (e.g., "1/100"), but I need to convert this "15625" back to "1/640". How? :) Thanks.

    when i open a new xxx.xml file it doesnt write to the R.id my new var example when i write in xml : <__Button android:text="New Game" android:id="@+id/newGameButton" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content"</Button (the _ r from this web format boundaries ) in R it should write : public static final int newGameButton=0x7f050013; note : this is a xml i added as new to my project should i make something so the eclipse tool will write automatically to the R file?

  • Excel 2008 Cant Parse HTML

    I need to export a gridview to excel, I put the return html code from the gridview to a HtmlTextWriter and put this into the response. The result file work fine in excel, excel can parse the html and the result is readable, work perfect on excel 2003 and 2007, but in some machines with Excel 2008 (MACOS) excel shows only the raw html code and can't process this html code. Any idea to configure excel?     I am trying to read an ini file that has the following format: SETTING=VALUE SETTING2=VALUE2 I currently have the following code: string cache = sr.ReadToEnd(); string[] splitCache = cache.Split(new string[] {"\n", "\r\n"}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries); Which gives me a list of settings, however, what I would like to do is read this into a dictionary. My question is, is there a way to do this without iterating through the entire array and manually populating the dictionary?

  • Ping remote server and wait to get data

    Hi I'm building my first application for android and I've reached a point where I can't find a solution even have no idea what to search for in Google. So the problem: I am pinging a remote server with GET request through the application passing some parameters like file_id. Then the server gives back confirmation if the file exists or error otherwise, both in plain text. The error string is $$$ERROR$$$. Actually the confirmation is JSON string that holds the path to the file. If the file doesn't exists on the server it generated the error message and start downloading the file and processing it which normally takes 10-30 seconds. What would be the best way to check if the file is ready for download? I have DownloadFile class that extends AsyncTask but before I reach the point to download the file I need the URL which is dependant on the previous request which is in the main class in the UI thread.     I pass text in a gridview cell with a pipe delimiter, for example "4|31.99|3", What I'd like to be able to do is format this text to show as ------------- | 4 | |£31.99 / 3%| ------------- As you can see, I need the 4 to be Bold and be on a line of it's own, the 31.99 to be a currency and the 3 to be a percentage. Can this be done in code-behind using a converter or something?

    Hi All, I am writing an application that can record a 3GP video. I have tried both MMAPI and Invoke API. But have following issues. Using MMAPI: 1. When I record to stream, It records video in RIMM streaming format. when I try to play this video player gives error "Unsupported media format.". 2. When I record to a file. It will create a file of size 0. Using Invoke API: 1. In MMS mode it does not allow to record a video more than 30 seconds. 2. In Normal mode size of the file is very large. 3. Once I invoke camera application I do not have any control on application.     When I publish a Flash file that contains any sound (such as a WAV file), I can choose the sound compression method (MP3, raw, ADPCM, etc.). My question is about the mp3 compression and it's licence. Flash gives me the option to compress a WAV file as mp3, but is the licence to use the mp3 format included? I have paid for a Flash licence, does it give the right to use mp3 in my SWF files freely or do I have to pay royalties to someone else?
