BUT, it sends a message in the output window: PHPUnit is required in order to generate controller test stubs. How do I get Netbeans to automatically create a class with phpunit testing?   I need to retrieve all records ordered alphabetically. Except for a predefined list of record's columns which their records should appear first in a given predefined order, then all other records should be sorted alphabetically based on the same column For instance, assume we have the following table which is called Names Lets assume the predefined list is ("Mathew", "Ashraf", "Jack"). I.e. these are the names of whom their records should be listed first as in the predefined order. So the desired query result should be: Which query could retrieve this custom order ? P.S, I'm using MySQL.   Hi, I have to develop a code which will store a list of objects, as example below 101, value 11, value 12, value 13 ...etc 102, value 21, value 22, value 23 ...etc 103, value 31, value 32, value 33 ...etc 104, value 41, value 42, value 43 ...etc Now, the difficulty is, that first column is an identifier, and whole table should always be sorted by it. Easy access to each element is required. Additionally, list should be easily updated, and extended by adding element at the end as well as in front and still keep being sorted by first column. Finally, I would like to be able to display values of the above in datagridview. What is most important is a performance of the implementation, as rows will be updated many times per second, and datagridview should be able to display all changes immediately. I was thinking about creating class for the values, and then a Dictionary but encountered a problem with displaying values in gridview. What would be the most optimal way of implementing the code? • XNA .FBX Vertex Color Missing

  When I vertex paint and export my models from Blender (or Maya) for use in my XNA 4.0 project, I somehow lose the vertex color channel for the model. I use no custom model object or content pipelines and my own shader throws me the error: The current vertex declaration does not include all the elements required by the current vertex shader. Color0 is missing. I tryed to reopen the model in other modeling tools and the vertex colors are there. What could cause the vertex color channel to not get loaded in XNA 4.0? • Transform PDF to HTML, keep layout

  What methods are there to transform a PDF to HTML? It could be anything - online service, software, library. (Opensource preferred. In the last case, php or python would be preferred.) It has to keep the original layout (including page numbers, footnotes and such), keep the images (combining them to one single background image per page is acceptable) and keep the links. It should preferably output valid XHTML and clean up PDF features such as ligatures, but if there is some post-processing required, I can live with that. Something with a clean, relatively semantic HTML output would be great. The closest one I found was zamzar.org, but it choked on links. (Also, the HTML output is an ugly heap of absolutely positioned divs and needs post-processing because of encoding problems.)

  Is it possible for a signed Java Applet or Web Start app to write to the DOM of an IFRAME under a different domain? Does the fact that they're a signed applet/javaws allow them to ignore browsers' standard cross-browser security? If this does work, how well is it supported across the major browsers? Thanks! EDIT: My motivation is to add a browser plugin-like tool to third-party websites I don't control. It's not required that I use Java at all---any ideas or suggestions are encouraged.

• Do I have to release modifications made to a GPL v2 CMS?

  If we use a CMS that is covered by the GPL (v2), do we have to re-release the source code of the CMS if we make modifications to the core? The GPL v2 states: The GPL does not require you to release your modified version. You are free to make modifications and use them privately, without ever releasing them. This applies to organizations (including companies), too; an organization can make a modified version and use it internally without ever releasing it outside the organization. But if you release the modified version to the public in some way, the GPL requires you to make the modified source code available to the program's users, under the GPL. The grey area for me here is the part that states "if you release the modified version to the public in some way" - does displaying a website to the public count as "releasing it to the public"? What about if a custom plugin is written which integrates with the CMS - are we required to release the source? Does this count as a modification?

• Classic ASP and MVC side-by-side, different projects?

  I've tried asking this in a few different ways, but let's give it another shot (as I've yet to receive an answer and this is driving me nuts!) I have a very large classic ASP 3.0 application (~350K lines) that I want to start migrating to ASP.NET MVC. I'd like to keep the old ASP files in a separate project from the MVC stuff. Ideas on how to debug these? Should I just dump the files in the same folder and create two different projects ( a WAP and an MVC app) that reference the relevant files and folders required by each? This should work, but does anyone have a better idea? I need the ability to migrate small parts of the application individually as this will probably take a year or two to complete.

The column sums are easy via the 'dims' argument of colSums(): > colSums(a, dims = 1) but I cannot find a way to use rowSums() on the array to achieve the desired result, as it has a different interpretation of 'dims' to that of colSums(). It is simple to compute the desired row sums using: > apply(a, 3, rowSums) [,1] [,2] [1,] 12 12 [2,] 15 15 [3,] 18 18 but that is just hiding the loop. Are there other efficient, truly vectorised, ways of computing the required row sums?

I know that this would do this the job alarms.setRepeating(AlarmManager.RTC_WAKEUP,triggerAtTime, interval,alarmIntent); But what is confusing me is what to put in the triggerAtTime and the interval.It says System.currentTimeMillis() timebase. I might be installing the app on any day so the TriggerAtTime should be midnight of that day and the interval would be 24 hours from there on.   Hi I am using the GNU-Emacs-23 editor. I have this huge text file containing about 10,000 lines which I want to chop into multiple files. Using the mouse to select the required text to paste in another file is the really painful. Also this is prone to errors too. If I want to divide the text file according to the line numbers into say 4 file where first file:lines 1-2500 second file:lines 2500-5000 third file :lines 5000-7500 fourth file: lines: 7500-10000 how do I do this? At the very least, is there any efficient way to copy large regions of the file just by specifying line numbers

• How do I compile for windows XP under windows 7 / visual studio 2008

  I'm running Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2008 Pro and trying to get my application to work on Windows XP SP3. When I run it on my Windows XP machine (actually running in a virtualbox) I get the following error: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. So what have I missed? Is there something else required to run MSVC compiled programs or a different compiler option or something else?

  We have started using a static analyzer (Coverity) on our code base. We were promptly stupefied by the sheer amount of warnings we received (its in the hundreds of thousands) , it will take the entire team a few mounts to clear them all (obliviously impossible). the options we discussed so far are 1) hire a contractor to sort out the warning and fix them - he drawback: we will probably need very experiences people to do all these modifications, and no contractor will have required understanding of the code. 2) filter out the warning and deal only with the dangerous ones - the problem here is that our static analysis output will always be cluttered by warning making it difficult for us to isolate problems. also the filtering of the warning is also a major effort. either way, bringing our code to a state when the static analyzer can be a useful tool for us seems a monumental task. so how is it possible to work with the static analyzer without braining current development efforts into a complete stand still?

For some reason the .htaccess is trying to find File does not exist: /Library/WebServer/Documents/Users but there is no such directory as Users. • Given a string of red and blue balls, find min number of swaps to club the colors together

  We are given a string of the form: RBBR, where R - red and B - blue. We need to find the minimum number of swaps required in order to club the colors together. In the above case that answer would be 1 to get RRBB or BBRR. I feel like an algorithm to sort a partially sorted array would be useful here since a simple sort would give us the number of swaps, but we want the minimum number of swaps. Any ideas? This is allegedly a Microsoft interview question according to this.

• Are returned locals automatically xvalues

  Following on from a comment I made on this: passing std::vector to constructor and move semantics Is the std::move necessary in the following code, to ensure that the returned value is a xvalue? std::vector<string> buildVector() { std::vector<string> local; // .... build a vector return std::move(local); } It is my understanding that this is required. I have often seen this used when returning a std::unique_ptr from a function, however GManNickG made the following comment: It is my understanding that in a return statement all local variables are automatically xvalues (expiring values) and will be moved, but I'm unsure if that only applies to the returned object itself. So OP should go ahead and put that in there until I'm more confident it shouldn't have to be. :) Can anyone clarify if the std::move is necessary? Is the behaviour compiler dependent?

• Communicating from website to desktop application (not vice-versa)

  I am designing an application such that it will have to react to certain actions required by the website, mostly the same way Last.FM client does (if you have used one) The way Last.FM client works is that, it will register a custom protocol in Windows (lastfm://) and on their website, they use that protocol to trigger certain action on the player, e.g.: lastfm://artist//similarartists will actually direct any Last.FM client running to load up similar artists. I would like to do the same thing for my application. Is this a good idea? Is there any good alternatives to send a message from a website to a desktop client in this manner?
