  • How to change onmouseover event to onclick instead in javascript?

    I am using this plugin in wordpress http://www.iwebix.de/front-slider-wordpress-plugin-demo/ As you can see in the demo above, the left and right arrow buttons are the controls for scrolling the thumbnails and the event is onmouseover and onmouseout. I don't know how to change this to onclick instead so that the thumbnails will scroll left and right only when the buttons are clicked. Any help or ideas on how to do this? Thanks!     Hi all, I have a issue with my Spring.Net configuration where its not injecting an object. I have a CommService to which an object named GeneralEmail is injected to. In one scenario, I need to call the commnucation service from an static WebMethod. I try doing: CommService cso = new CommService(); But when i try to get the emailService object, its null! why didn't the spring inject the GeneralMail object into my cso object?   • Dependency Injection: How to maintain multiple configurations?

    Hi StackOverflow, Lets assume we've build a system with a DI framework which is working quite fine. This system currently uses JMS to "talk" with other systems not maintained by us. The majority of our customers like the JMS approach and uses it according to our specification. The component which does all the messaging is injected with Spring into the rest of the application. Now we got the case that one customer cannot implement the JMS solution and want to use another messaging technology. Thats not a problem because we can simply implement a messaging service using this technology and inject it in the rest of the application. But how are we supposed to handle the deployment and maintenance of the configuration? Since the application uses Spring i could imagine to check in all the configurations i have for this application and the system administrator could start the application and passing the name of the DI XML file to specify which configuration should be loaded. But... it just don't feel right. Are there any solutions for such cases available? What are the best-practices you use? I could even imagine more complex scenarios which do not contain only one service substitution... Thanks a lot!

    Hi, I'm currently testing Vulnerabiltys to SQL Injections for my companys application as an it-trainee. So I found, that the application is indeed vulnerable to injections because I can alter some of the insert statements. So I altered the insert Statement to this: INSERT INTO tablename( column, column1, column2, column3, column4,column5, column6, column7, column8 ) VALUES ( 10965972, 185796154, 25, 23,2023, '', CURRENT_DATE, 'v0201100', 18); DELETE * FROM tablename;-- , 2023,'a', CURRENT_DATE, 'v0201100', 18 ) I thought this should be a correct statement, but the MySQL Server returned this Error: MySQL Error: 1064 (You have an error in your SQL syntax;[...] Would be nice if somebody could help and tell my why the syntax is wrong...     I have been bothered for so long by the MySQL injections and was thinking of a way to eliminate this problem all together. I have came up with something below hope that many people will find this useful. The only Draw back I can think of this is the partial search: Jo =returns "John" by using the like %% statement.   • What is wrong with the JavaScript event handling in this example? (Using click() and hover() jQuery

    I'm working on a sort of proof-of-concept for a project that approximates Firebug's inspector tool. For more details, please see this related question. Here is the example page. I've only tested it in Firefox: http://troy.onespot.com/static/highlight.html The idea is that, when you're mousing over any element that can contain text, it should "highlight" with a light gray background to indicate the boundaries of that element. When you then click on the element, it should alert() a CSS selector that matches it. This is somewhat working in the example linked above. However, there's one fundamental problem. When mousing over from the top of the page to the bottom, it will pick up the paragraphs, <h1> element, etc. But, it doesn't get the <div>s that encompass those paragraphs. However, for example, if you "sneak up" on the <div> that contains the two paragraphs "The area was settled..." and "Austin was selected..." from the left - tracing down the left edge of the page and entering the <div> just between the two paragraphs (see this screenshot) - then it is picked up. I assume this has something to do with the fact that I haven't attached an event handler to the <body> element (where you're entering the <div> from if you enter from the left), but I have attached handlers to the <p>s (where you're entering from if you come from the top or bottom). There are also other issues with mousing in and out elements - background colors that "stick" and the like - that I think are also related. As indicated in the related question posted above, I suspect there is something about event bubbling that I don't understand that is causing unexpected behavior. Can anyone spot what's wrong with my code? Thanks in advance for any help!

    What is the best way (or options) for accessing spring components at layers deep within the application that aren't managed by spring? For example, I have a low level utility POJO class into which I need to autowire/inject a spring component. I'll call it LowLevelHelper. There are multiple classes that use LowLevelHelper - most are layers away from anything that is hooked up with spring. One option would be to make all the layers in to spring components, but that seems like I'm hacking my design to force spring to help me. I have some complex things going on that won't be nearly as clean if I have to @Autowire all the pieces and don't new anything. Another option might be to manually inject the component in the low level class, but I'm not really sure if this is possible or the right solution.

  • Using Javascript, How do I bring an already existing open window to the front on top of other window

    The question was fairly descriptive but I'll describe it further. Basically, I have Window1, clicking a button link opens window2. Clicking a button in window2 opens window3, clicking a button in window3 should bring window2 back to the front of the screen on top of window2. I'm not sure how this is exactly done, however I have used and played around with focus(), opener and other various methods and I cannot seem to get it to work properly.     Since there are so many valid characters for email addresses, are there any valid email addresses that can in themselves be XSS attacks or SQL injections? I couldn't find any information on this on the web. The local-part of the e-mail address may use any of these ASCII characters: Uppercase and lowercase English letters (a–z, A–Z) Digits 0 to 9 Characters ! # $ % & ' * + - / = ? ^ _ ` { | } ~ Character . (dot, period, full stop) provided that it is not the last character, and provided also that it does not appear two or more times consecutively (e.g. [email protected]). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-mail_address#RFC_specification I'm not asking how to prevent these attacks (I'm already using parametrized queries and HTML purifier), this is more a proof-of-concept. The first thing that came to mind was 'OR [email protected], except that spaces are not allowed. Do all SQL injections require spaces?

  • Is there a JavaScript event that fires when a tab index switch is triggered? (TABINDEX does not work for inputs in IFRAME)

    My specific use case is that I have a WYSIWYG editor which is basically an editable iframe. To the user, however, it looks like a standard-issue textarea. My problem is that I have inputs that sit before and after this editor in the (perceived) tab index and I'd like the user to be able to press tab (or the equivalent on his platform of choice) to get to the WYSIWYG editor when he's in the previous element and shift-tab to get to it when he's in the latter element. I know this can be faked using the key events and checking whether or not the tab key was pressed, but I'm curious if there's a better way. UPDATE. treeface clarified the actual problem in the comments. PROBLEM: In normal case, you can use "TABINDEX" attribute of the <input> element to control that, when tabbing out of "Subject" input field (in an email form), the focus lands on "Body" input field in the e-mail. This is done simply by assigning correctly ordered values to "TABINDEX" attribute of both input fields. The problem is that TABINDEX attribute only orders elements within the same frame. So, if "Body" input field is actually in an internal IFRAME, you can't tab out of "Subject" in the parent frame straight into "Body" in the IFRAME using TABINDEX order.

    idea Via jQuery, I was able to mark all :first-child and :last-child elements in document (well, almost all :)) with class first which could I later style (i.e. first li in ul#navigation would be easily adressable as ul#navigation .first). I used following code: var $f = $('*:first-child') $f.addClass('first'); var $l = $('body *:last-child') $l.addClass('last'); question Now, my question is if it's possible to do the same via php, so non-JS users/gadgets could have the same effects and additional styling and also it would be less overkill on browser. So, is it possible to capture output, parse it as html and inject this class easily in php?
