    I feel like I've run commands like the following in the past, but I'm getting an error trying it right now.     I am trying to write an IF formula for an order form where a discount is applied depending on the amount of units ordered..... The discounts are: 0 to 24 units - 0 discount 24 to 59 units – 5% discount 60 to 95 units – 10% discount 96 to 131 units – 15% discount 132 to 263 units – 20% discount 264+ units - 30% discount the cell that i am taking the total from is J1028.     The setup is like this (Ubuntu 9.10): eth0: 1.1.1.1 name.isp.com eth0:0 2.2.2.2 example2.com eth0:1 3.3.3.3 example3.com example2.com and example3.com are web apps which need to send emails to their users. 2.2.2.2 points to example2.com and vice-versa (A/PTR). MX - Google. Google handles all incoming mail. 3.3.3.3 points to example3.com and vice-versa (A/PTR). MX - Google. Google handles all incoming mail. Requirements: Local delivery must be disabled (must deliver to MX specified server), so that the following works (note that there is no local user bob on the machine, but there is an existing bob email user): echo "Test" | mail -s "Test 6" [email protected] I need to be able to specify from which IP/domain name the email is delivered when sending an email. Sendmail always uses canonical name (taken from eth0). I've found no way for it to select one of the UUCP codenames. I also know about spoofing sender field by using mail -a "From: <[email protected]>" but it seems to be a half-solution (mails are still sent from isp.com domain instead of proper example2.com, so PTR records are unused and there's more risk of being flagged as spam/spammer).

    I purchased a Lenovo T420S laptop with a 90W/20V AC adapter P/N 42t4426 through my IT department. Subsequently, I ordered a replacement adapter and received a 135W/20V AC adapter P/N 45N0054. The 135W version is about twice as big and heavy as the 90W version. Is there an advantage to the 135W version like faster battery recharging? Are there any negative effects (other than weight), like reduced battery life?

    Hey, I'm not a hardware person, so maybe someone here could help me. I ordered a PC from Dell that has "Serial ATA Raid 0 "Stripe"(7200RPM)Dual HDD" (2x500gb). However, I've just noticed that there's only one HD of 1TB (which is the default option when ordering). Should I be seeing two HDDs in "My Computer" or does the Raid0 setup simply improve performance rather than have (and display) two individual HDDs? How can I check if my computer does have a 'raid0' setup? Thanks

  • Permissions changed after Mail.app and associated data crash

    Hi there, I experienced a major Mail.app crash on Snow Leopard couple of days ago. It took me hours to be able to make the folder structure usable again by Mail. I changed permissions back to 755 for all subfolders starting from and including ~/Library/Mail Mail now works again but settings such as folder order in the left side bar and mail ordered by date in some folders don't persist anymore. Any idea? Thxs for help

    I've just got all the parts I need to build a new PC but the SATAII hard drive I ordered did not come and I've received an IDE drive instead. While I wait to get the correct drive type and send the new IDE drive back, is it possible to install Windows 7 on to an existing IDE drive that I have and then transfer the contents of that drive over to the new SATA disk when it arrives without Windows having any issues?

Windows 7 still boots but every single action takes an aeon, and it is definitely due to a harddisk error not due to any spyware. I'm using the Ubuntu partition now. I've ordered a new harddrive but my laptop didn't come with a Windows 7 install disk (I think I was meant to make one with the windows 7 tools). So how can I install Windows 7 on my new harddrive?

I would like to install some software that would include spam filtering, email delivery, etc, but would be simpler to maintain than something like this (possibly hundreds of steps, and a lot of maintenance headaches too I suppose). However, when I view all conversations of a single label, by clicking the label in the box left on the screen, mails are ordered by first activity.     I have just installed POSTFIX on a Debian box, I pointed the relay host config setting to an exchange server which will deliver the mail to external users. So what I am trying to do is telnet to the debian box and send an email to [email protected] which will then be past to the exchange server for delivery. The problem is I get the following: rcpt to:[email protected] 554 relay access denied I have seen a section in the config "mydestination" but i want the exchange server to decide which domains it will deliver for and not the POSTFIX server.

    I have a tiny home server setup behind my cable modem (bresnan communications). I want to be able for this box to send out email (not receive) for notifications and whatnot. What I have already done: I have installed and configured sendmail. I have added mail.bresnan.net as my SMART_HOST directive. [69.145.248.1], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with pmx0.bresnan.net. You can see where the message is accepted for delivery by my sendmail server, then where it attempts to hand off to bresnan's server and it timesout. This is where my question is. Asstute readers will notice that pmx0.bresnan.net is not what I have my SMART_HOST directive set as. This is the (outside?) MX server for the bresnan.com/net domain. Apparently bresnan has their network configured so that you can not access this server from within their own network and instead must use the mail.bresnan.net server (which I can connect to). The problem is that I don't know how to tell sendmail to use this server and not the domain. What I have tried Setting a hosts entry so that the pmx0 server points to the mail IP address. This doesn't work, which makes sense as sendmail is obviously doing an MX query to find the server which returns the IP so there is never a need to do a 'normal' DNS resolve so the hosts file never gets involved.
