    Hello, I am looking for ways to protect my product images and I don't know if there's anything out there better than what I've already found: disable right click, use a transparent image in front of your picture and watermarking. Obviously none of them is perfect but I was curious if someone came up with a better solution to this problem. Also is there any rails plugin to aid with that ? Thanks

On clicking that the user would be able to provide an email address to which the document needs to be sent, and I need to send this pdf as an attachment. I need to password protect the file for security reasons. I have no clue on how i can do this in asp.net mvc.

    Are the "modify" operators like +=, |=, &= etc atomic? I know ++ is atomic (if you perform x++; in two different threads "simultaneously", you will always end up with x increased by 2, as opposed to x=x+1 with optimization switched off.) What I wonder is whether variable |= constant, and the likes are thread-safe or do I have to protect them with a mutex? (...or is it CPU-dependent? In this case, how is it on ARM?)

I need to protect the url so only the "admin" role can access it but I'm having trouble with it - the rest of the acegi rules work just fine. In the BootStrap, I set def secureReqMap = new Requestmap(url: '/monitoring/**', configAttribute:'ROLE_ADMIN').save() Also tried with def secureReqMap = new Requestmap(url: '/monitoring', configAttribute:'ROLE_ADMIN').save() With no luck, it keeps being public. I'm using Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0). If I have to use web credentials, are auto-updates of the application still possible? Does anybody know how i can protect this tagged directory from being accidentally modified? At the moment as a workaround i lock all files. But this sill means that the user with the lock can edit the files. Is there any better solution?

When a file to be downloaded is clicked, I get the following in the Internet Explorer Information bar: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to you computer. I added a registry key to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ then a REG_DWORD value named "http" with value==2 as given in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/972345/programmatically-add-trusted-sites-to-internet-explorer but still facing same issues. Can some1 advice on this....

    I've been asked to protect a Magento module through obfuscation. I never used PHP obfuscation packages but I know how they work and I forsee some issues in obfuscating a module that is very string and xml dependant: /etc/config.xml registers harcoded class names and paths auto-loading is heavily used I cannot imagine how to automatically obfuscate a class name that will be called later by Mage::getModel('my/module'). Any recommendations?
