This folder isn’t shared by default, but you can easily set up several different types of file-sharing to easily share files on your local network. This folder was originally meant for the Personal File Sharing tool, which is no longer included with Ubuntu by default. If you want to integrate with other lines of text to the build output, you need to do more. This post will show you how you can add extra steps, additional information and hyperlinks to the build output. Add an hyperlink to the end of the build output Lets start with a simple example of how you can adjust the build output. In this case we are going to add at the end of the build output an hyperlink where a user can click on to for example start the deployment to the test environment. This value is a variable in your xaml and is thus easily transferable to you custom activity.     I have been debating whether to get a nexus 5 phone since it came out. My only fear is that I won't like android. I love ubuntu, I know that I'd love ubuntu. So I have a few question related to Ubuntu Touch: Is it easy or possible to switch between Ubuntu Touch and Android? Would I have to keep hacking the phone? Can I dual boot them? Would I lose my data every time I switch? The nexus 5 isn't mentioned here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Devices Does that mean it simply won't work if I follow the porting instructions? Would I have to do a bit of hacking? Has anyone got it working? Will it eventually be supported?

    I have followed the instructions on numerous pages, such as this, which say to run the following commands: sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner" sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk However, when I do this I still get the following error: me@mycomputer:~$ sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package sun-java6-jdk is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package sun-java6-jdk has no installation candidate I realize Java is available from many other sources, but for reasons that I can't get into here I must use this specific version. What can I do to get this installed?

  • How to prevent Ubuntu from combining networks on 2 NIC server?

    I've got a Ubuntu Server 10.10 with 2 network interfaces with a cable plugged into both going to switches on completely different networks with different routers. One network is the 10.1.10.X network with a separate gateway/router - the server has an IP of 10.1.10.50 with the gateway IP of 10.1.10.1. The other interface is 10.2.10.X, IP 10.2.10.50, gateway 10.2.10.1. All my Mac machines are on the 10.2.10.X network, and all servers on the 10.1.10.X. The ONLY connection between the two is this machine. From a Mac in my office, I CANNOT ping any computer on the 10.1.10.X network except the Ubuntu machine I'm talking about. However, under the Shared column in Finder, I can see every server on the other network listed. That makes me believe that somehow this Ubuntu machine is letting certain requests span both networks, which is a security problem. Hope this is enough info.

In VirtualBox there is an option to choose between pulseaudio and alsa for sound, but it seems to have no effect. I am using virtualbox-3.0 packages, not the ose version. My system is up to date.

When I boot I have to sudo mdadm --assemble --force /dev/md0 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1 /dev/sde1 /dev/sdf1 /dev/sdg1 to get mdadm to notice the array.   • ubuntu eth0 not reconnecting after cable unplugged

    I'm running kubuntu 9.10 w/ gnome, I have a static IP defined in /etc/network/interfaces When I unplugged my network cable and rebooted, then reconnected the network cable I was not able to connect. I tried using sudo ifup eth0, and then ifconfig and it seemed as though the IP address had been assigned and I was connected, but I wasn't. I then did ifdown eth0, and again ifup eth0. For some reason I'm not able to access the network. Furthermore, I also attempted to connect via wlan, and was able to connect to the wireless network, but cannot "see" the network. I can't transfer data or access the internet or anything on the network including the router. (due to missing arch) then a blue dialog box appears with OK (Which is not clickable and pressing enter is not workin.)   • How can I restore programs that were sent to the background (Ubuntu)

    I was fooling around with my dual display setup (turned on my second monitor is almost all) and a handful of programs that were running seem not to be available anymore. Thunderbird, Gvim, Tomboy ps shows them, but I can't see them. Can't cycle to them with alt-tab. They aren't just in some other window. I'm not even sure how to start figuring out where everything went. Ideas?

    After an update yesterday my Dell X300 will only boot to a screen with an option to perform 2 memory tests. If I perform these tests, it will only go back to this same screen, offering a choice of memory test again, 86+ or 86+ serial console 115200. This screen is headed - GNU Grub version 1.97 beta 4. This is a full install on my hard drive. How can I get back to booting normally?

  • pdftk issue after updating Ubuntu from 9.04 to 9.10

    We upgraded our server to 9.10 from 9.04 the other day, and it all went well except for one rather important program. We're using pdftk to automatically generate filled out pdf forms. On 9.04, it worked just fine. After updating to 9.10, the pdf forms would no longer be filled out - they'd just be empty. I discovered that if I try to create an fdf file via pdftk from my PDF form, it just creates an empty fdf with no fields. On windows, pdftk generates the fdf file just fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've set the content of /etc/network/interfaces to be: auto lo auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1. and /etc/resolv.conf to be: nameserver 192.168.1.1. It seems that the ip address have set successfully. However, when I plug out the lan cable and then plug it back, the ip address is not set. How can I make it automatically set the static ip when the lan cable is connected?

    I have 2 graphics cards, the output from the lspci: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV770 [Radeon HD 4850] 02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV710 [Radeon HD 4350] I have one monitor connected to the 4850 and 2 connected to the 4350. However when I go into System Preferences Monitors the only monitor shown is the one connected to the 4850. Is there something I need to enable for it to be able to use the other card? How do I get this to work. Thanks.
