Referencing a control inside a XSL Template from code behind ?

Hi all I have a custom NewItem.aspx that I made by creating a new aspx from the exisiting one I wanted to put a control in a row inside the XSL Template like this <asp:DropDownList ID="ddlSectors" AutoPostBack="true" runat="server" __designer:bind="{ddwrt:DataBind('i',ddlSectors,'SelectedValue','TextChanged','ID',ddwrt:EscapeDelims(string(@ID)),'@Sector')}"> </asp:DropDownList>  <SharePoint:FieldDescription runat="server" id="ff7description{$Pos}" FieldName="Sector" ControlMode="New"/> Now I want to reference ddlSectors from my code library but it always throws an object reference not set to an instatnce of an object. I believe that this is becuase the control is inside the XSL template. so is there any workaround for this ? thanks

I have: List<Car> carList = new List<Car>(); carList.Add(new Car() { id = 1, name = "Honda" }); carList.Add(new Car() { id = 2, name = "Toyota" }); carList.Add(new Car() { id = 1, name = "Nissan" }); I want to use Lamda Expression to retreive all cars that have an id of 1. Anticipated Result: -- Id: 1, Name: Honda -- Id: 1, Name: Nissan The problem is more filtering an object list based on a foriegn key. Please help me.

I am trying to bind a mousemove event to a div when the left mousebutton is down, and unbind when it is released. The firebug console prints out <div class="statusbar"> for the line commented //firebug. I'm doing something wrong, probably when binding the mousedown and mouseup... but what?! I'm using jQuery v1.4.2, if that helps?

Google Maps API and "rightclick" events on Macs

Using the Google Maps API (v3), I can create a map and handle normal click events just fine, but when I want to handle rightclick events, it doesn't work on Macs. I assume this is because a rightclick on a Mac is actually converted to a ctrl-click, but the Google Maps API MouseEvent doesn't provide information about modifier keys, so I can't check for the ctrl key. I tried adding an "capture" event listener to the document that converts the click event to a rightclick event. function convertClick(e) { if (e.ctrlKey) { e.button = 2; } } document.addEventListener("click", convertClick, true) I added an alert to verify that the condition is correct, but modifying the event in this way didn't work. So, I decided to have my event handler set a global flag that my click handler could check. If the flag is set, it means ctrl was pressed, so the click handler just invokes the rightclick handler. var ctrl; function captureCtrl(e) { ctrl = e.ctrlKey; } This approach worked great, except for one thing. The ctrl flag gets set for the click after the one that occured when ctrl was pressed. That means the event handler is be called during the bubble phase rather than the capture phase. Could explain why the event modification approach didn't work. So, my question is how can you detect "rightclick" events from Macs with the Google Maps API? I can't be the first person to want to do this. That said, when I right-click on the map on http://maps.google.com from a Windows or Linux machine, I get a popup box with options like "Directions from here...", etc. On a Mac, nothing happens. So, not even the main Google Maps page has solved this problem. ...maybe I am the first person to want to do this.

Is this just how bindings work in tkinter or am i missing something here? The behaviour i would like when updating the input widget is: 1) Show the change, 2) Enter event handler, 3) Update output widget, 4) Show message box.

I wanted to filter the rows to get only the minimum number in the second column. Forwarding keypresses in GTK

I'm writing a bit of code for a Gedit plugin. I'm using Python and the interface (obviously) is GTK. So, the issue I'm having is quite simple: I have a search box (a gtk.Entry) and right below I have a results box (a gtk.TreeView). Right after you type something in the search box you are presented a bunch of results, and I would like the user to be able to press the Up/Down keys to select one, Enter to choose it, and be done. Thing is, I can't seem to find a way to forward the Up/Down keypress to the TreeView. Currently I have this piece of code: def __onSearchKeyPress(self, widget, event): """ Forward up and down keys to the tree. """ if event.keyval in [gtk.keysyms.Up, gtk.keysyms.Down]: print "pressed up or down" e = gtk.gdk.Event(gtk.gdk.KEY_PRESS) e.keyval = event.keyval e.window = self.browser.window e.send_event = True self.browser.emit("key-press-event", e) return True I can clearly see I'm receiving the right kind of event, but the event I'm sending gets ignored by the TreeView. RelativeLayout - positioning a View under a ViewGroup

jquery events on input submit fields

I have a problem with jquery submit button onclick and default event. What I want to do is replace an click event on submit button if it has one, and get an dialog box to show up, on clicking yes the dialog should start that default onclick event if submit button has one defined, if it hasn't than the default event should happen (button submits form), .submit() function does not work for me in any case cause I need to send this button also through a form and if button wasn't clicked .submit() sends form data without submit data.
