  • Deploying a .Net App Source Control (SVN) over 32-bit AND 64-bit dev stations

    Here is the situation : Our Dev Team has heterogeneous OS systems, scattered between 32-bit and 64-bit. This is not ideal, we are actually planning to homogenize our infrastructure, but in the meantime we have to deal with it. The issue is that when a 32-bit developer checks out a 64-bit solution on SVN, he has to manually change the target platforms all over again to get it compiled (not to mention other side problems) My question is : What clean (though temporary) solution could be addressed in such situation, permitting each developer to keep his default project/platform settings while checking out and in from SVN. I guess that -at least for the first time a project/solution is checked out, a dev still has to tweak the setting manually to compile it properly. After that, according to relevant SVN filters, it is possible to ignore some settings files (which ones, by the way?) I am open to all clever and detailed suggestions. Thanks.

    Hi, I'm using HTTP connection to share data with my JSON server. I use URLs like "MyServlet?param1=value1" and so on... I'm now facing a problem with one of my servlet (I can't change it because some other views are using it) : The servlet is working with a syntax including those symbols "{" and "}". The exact syntax is {(value1_value2)(value3_value4)(value5_value6)}{(value7_value8)(value9_value10)(value11_value12)}{(value13_value14)(value15_value16)(value17_value18)} Values are integers, the problem is only when I use "{" and "}" my UrlConnection returns an error for bad URL. I use this to instantiate my NSString : NSString *myURL = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://somesite.com/Servlet?PARAM={(%@)}"]; How can I code those char in my NSString ? Thanks in advance !

  • C++ app fails to initialize (0xc0000005), when using C# dll

    Hi, I have a C# DLL, which I call from a native C++ programm. As I use Qt and /clr compiler option did not work I followed this tutorial for a bridge. So I have a VS2008 project (compiled with /clr), which links to the C# DLL and contains the bridge class and the native class, which exposes interfaces to my C++ programm. Another VS2008 project (no .net stuff) calls the native class (statically linked). I had some issues, but now the programm at least compiles. However, if I try to run this programm, I get a (0xc0000005) error on initialization, when I try to use the native class. As this happens on initialization, I don't even see, which DLLs fail to initialize. All DLLs should be in the right place. Any hints? Thank you.

  • Firefox - Stashing Requests for Deliberate Resubmission to Django App

    I've got an object creation form that's somewhat complicated, it contains a few dynamic formsets etc. I'm trying to ensure that these dynamic formsets are intact if the form runs into an error and returns you to the given page. In cases like this, the refresh button actually works well in re-submitting the request, but I can't rely on it. I'm doing some ad-hoc testing in the browser that I'd like to make a bit more repeatable, and eventually move to a unit test using Django's mock client. Is there an extension, or some convenient method to stash requests for later re-submission. The goal: I resubmit the request, tweak the code, eyeball the results, rinse and repeat. Three days later I can come back to it an try it again to make sure it's still working. The closest thing I can think of in this case is simply recording my activity with Selenium ide and replaying it.

    Trying to run the latest version of heatmap. http://jjguy.com/heatmap/ DLL load keeps crapping out on me in both 64 & 32 bit dlls. (Similar questions on this seemed irrelevant as I've tried loading both DLLs) I'm running Windows 7. I have uninstalled and re-installed 2.7.3 64 bit. Idle Top line: Python 2.7.3 (default, Apr 10 2012, 23:24:47) [MSC v.1500 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32 I've tried loading C:\Python27\DLLs\cHeatmap-x86.dll ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. C:\Python27\DLLs\cHeatmap-x64.dll ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. I can run heatmap 1.1 but that was before DLLs were added.

    I have a Message.xaml file that should display a recipient field and a message field like this: The user can add multiple recipients, so the TextBox should be flexible in height. I managed this with following code: <TextBox FontSize="24" Margin="0,0,80,532" Name="absenderField" AcceptsReturn="True" TextWrapping="Wrap" Height="auto" MinHeight="30" MaxWidth="375"> </TextBox> Now the recipient field is growing in height when text is added that does not fit into it. The other TextBox is for the message. The markup is the same as for the recipient field, just the height is different. The first problem is, that when the recipient field growes it goes over the message field but the message field should be aligned at the bottom of the recipient field and move down. how can I achieve that? Now the other problem. When I enter a lot of text to make the message field grow, the recipient field will grow too. This is very strange. Why does this happen?     No nib/IB, so I've inserted "myAppDelegate" in main and deleted the reference to main.xib in info.plist. Debug continues nicely through all five tab controllers; they seem to have gotten properly loaded into the nav controller. In fact, control passes out of the last "}" in applicationDidFinishLaunching. But there was no (visible) response back at [window addSubview:[tabBarController view]]; and [window makeKeyAndVisible]; statements, much less to the loadView within the first tab (program execution never gets there). The last line is, UIApplication _performInitializationWithURL:sourceBundleID:]. I missed a step? I executed a step improperly?

  • Ext.app.application object is erased after initialization

    I am trying to organize an existing extjs code in a more standard order (extjs wise). extjs version: extjs-4.0.2a. I've worked through the Extjs tutorial example and every thing went well. When I started working on the company's code I've notice there is no use of the application object there for I've added the Ext.application({...}); call. Ext.application({ name: 'FOO', appFolder: 'appFolderName', launch: function() { console.log('application was created'); } }); Upon loading the page I see the console.log output that is included in the "launch" function property - meaning the application object is created but when I look for it ("FOO" object) under the "window" object it is not there. Compering to the tutorial code the application object exist as a property of window. I encounter a few loading problems but I'm guessing the source of it all is this issue. What am I doing wrong? thanks.
