• Simple grid layout question

  I can't believe I'm back to this after working with WPF for 3 months :) Consider very common setup: How do I configure the rowheights so that the top and bottom rows (menu bar and status bar) size to fit the height of their content, and the middle row (main content), fills the remaining available space in the program?   I'm trying to get Zend_Mail to send an encapsulated message - as though it's forwarding an email. $attachedContent = "<h1>H1 Email</h1>"; $emailContent = "<h1>Email Content>"; $mail = new Zend_Mail(); $mail->setBodyText('text content'); $mail->setBodyHtml($emailContent); $mail->setFrom('[email protected]', 'GAS'); $mail->addTo('[email protected]', 'GAS'); $at = $mail->createAttachment($attachedContent); $at->type = 'message/rfc822; name="forwarded message"'; $at->disposition = Zend_Mime::DISPOSITION_INLINE; $at->encoding = Zend_Mime::ENCODING_7BIT; $mail->setSubject('Test'); $mail->send(); Mail clients are getting the email, rendering the normal HTML content, and displaying the forwarded message and rendering its contents, however, it's formatting like: <h1>Email Content</h1> Can you see what I'm doing wrong? • WordPress Conditional: Only show if current page title is equal to post meta

  Hey, I am calling a bunch of posts under a certain post type in WordPress which works but I am trying to add a conditional that will check first if those post's custom meta field (labeled "disc") is equal to the current post's title. • CSS box shadow on container div causes scrollbars

  I have a website with the following setup: <div id="container"> <div id="header"></div> <div id="content"></div> <div id="clearfooter"></div> </div> <div id="footer"></div> I use the clearfooter and a footer outside the container to keep the footer at the bottom of the page when there isn't enough content. My problem is that I would like to apply a box shadow on the container div in the following way: #container {width:960px; min-height:100%; margin:0px auto -32px auto; position:relative; padding:0px; background-color:#e6e6e6; -moz-box-shadow: -3px 0px 5px rgba(0,0,0,.8), 3px 0px 5px rgba(0,0,0,.8);} #header {height:106px; position:relative;} #content {margin:0px; padding:10px 30px 10px 30px; position:relative;} #clearFooter {height:32px; clear:both; display:block; padding:0px; margin:0px;} #footer {height:32px; padding:0px; position:relative; width:960px; margin:0px auto 0px auto;} As you can see its a drop shadow on on each side of the container div. However, in doing this, when the content doesn't take up the full height, there are still scroll bars caused by the shadow pushing past the bottom of the footer due to the blur. Is there some way of preventing the shadow from going past the edge of the container div and causing a scrollbar? Thanks for your help!

My question is how to save an attachment into the file system from the source. For example, if I isolate the section below, how do I need to process it before saving it into a gif file to create a valid gif? • help with making a password checker in java

  Hello, I am trying to make a program in Java that checks for three specific inputs. It has to be 1. At least 7 characters. 2. Contain both upper and lower case alphabetic characters. 3. Contain at least 1 digit. So far I have been able to make it check if there is 7 characters, but I am having trouble with the last two. What should I put in my loop as an if statement to check for digits and make it upper and lower case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Hello to everyone, I have a problem with starting a media session and to combine it with my SIP client. I've designed a recursive SIP client that reuse the same request template to send the next requests to server, according to the acceptable sequences noted in the RFC's, and examples that I read. as far as I could tell the SIP part is working fine registers to server invites, and authenticates. I didn't complete any calls to clients yet because of the content header needs to be filled up (which I didn't yet so I get a 503 from the server which is OK I guess). for a long time I didn't know where to start with the media session, and slowly learned how to use the JMF and I've constructed an object that handles RTP transmitting, now I'm standing at the cross road, on the one hand I have my SIP signaling but it needs the SDP content header to complete the invite, and on the other I have the RTP which is knows how to p2p. For me to complete my design I require your help with the following questions: Is there an easy//a simple//an implemented way to convert the Audio/Video format from the JMF into SDP media headers? or even a generator that I would input all the parameters for the content header, and it would generate a content header fast, or do I have to implement this myself? Once I've finished constructing the SDK and the SIP is up and running and I get an OK response from the server (after ringing and all), how do I start the media session? do I connect p2p according to caller details I send in the SIP invite? If 2 is correct, then how does a connection to land lines would be? does land lines knows that once they send an OK back to server they listen/start RTP session on a specific port? Or did I get everything wrong? :-/ I really appreciate any help I could I get, I looked every where for answers but they are not clear, they ignore question 2 as if it was an obvious thing, but for me it just isn't.   I need help explaining to my boss why her design is poor on a client's website. She has no knowledge of the web, and it can be difficult as a web developer working with a woman who is a graphic designer (not even a web designer really). On a current site she has designed, an image bar "needs" to be ~1200px according to her, though it isn't necessary with the content. A quick sketch to illustrate what's going on: As you see, the banner spills out past the 960px of the content and as wide as 1200px. This creates a horizontal scroll when all the content is viewable within the 960px wide viewport. I need to make this an <img and not a CSS background because it's a jQuery slideshow that fades from image to image. I think this is a big problem because a lot of people are going to get a horizontal scroll bar imposed in their browser when they're still able to see all the relevant content. She thinks no one will notice and it'll be fine; I think it's very bad practice and confusing to the end user. How do I explain the problem to her?

It looks like there isn't a strongly typed delegate for this and I'm having trouble figuring out what selectors I need to handle on the delegates of my InputStream and OutputStream and what I actually need to do with each selector in order to properly fill and empty the buffers belonging to the EASession object.   Hi, Still quite new to Haskell.. I want to read the contents of a file, do something with it possibly involving IO (using putStrLn for now) and then write new contents to the same file. I came up with: doit :: String -> IO () doit file = do contents <- withFile tagfile ReadMode $ \h -> hGetContents h putStrLn contents withFile tagfile WriteMode $ \h -> hPutStrLn h "new content" However this doesn't work due to laziness. The file contents are not printed. I found this post which explains it well. The solution proposed there is to include putStrLn within the withFile: doit :: String -> IO () doit file = do withFile tagfile ReadMode $ \h -> do contents <- hGetContents h putStrLn contents withFile tagfile WriteMode $ \h -> hPutStrLn h "new content" This works, but it's not what I want to do. The operation in I will eventually replace putStrLn might be long, I don't want to keep the file open the whole time. In general I just want to be able to get the file content out and then close it before working with that content. The solution I came up with is the following: doit :: String -> IO () doit file = do c <- newIORef "" withFile tagfile ReadMode $ \h -> do a <- hGetContents h writeIORef c $! a d <- readIORef c putStrLn d withFile tagfile WriteMode $ \h -> hPutStrLn h "Test" However, I find this long and a bit obfuscated. I don't think I should need an IORef just to get a value out, but I needed "place" to put the file contents. Also, it still didn't work without the strictness annotation $! for writeIORef.
