  Ok, so at work I use Ubuntu and its create for copying a files from one folder to another folder without having two finder windows open. What I would like is to have that function on my mac and I am wondering if anyone knows how to do this. I understand Ubuntu is Linux and Mac well its from Linux has all the features of Linux but is a mac. The feature may not be there but if it is, it would help me alot. • SMTP account without POP3/IMAP account in Thunderbird

  I'd like to set up Thunderbird to be able to send messages via an SMTP server, but I don't want to actually download any messages from a POP3 or IMAP account to Thunderbird's local storage. Is there any way to get Thunderbird to send messages without creating an incoming account? Currently, I'm unable to use the Write/Send features if I just have an outgoing server set up, but no incoming account.

  Hi, How can I improve RDP performance? I'm on an 8mb line, and I have disabled all the fancy features like visual styles. One page said if I set a low speed, that too will increase performance. • Unable to get anything except 403 from a .Net 4.5 website

  Scenario: Clean Server 2008 R2 Install with IIS Role. Installed Framework 3.5 (Server Features) Installed Framework 4.5 RC (MS Download) executed C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319>aspnet_regiis.exe -i (I'd use -iru on existing servers but this is a clean build). Published via File System (SMB share) Converted the folder into an application using the .Net 4.0 Integrated App Pool Stopped/restarted everything. Browsing to localhost/TestApp results in a 403.14 (Directory browsing forbidden) What step have I missed out? The site in question is MVC4 and targets the 4.5 RC framework

  We're no longer using Office Project Server, and I've removed it from the farm in which it was installed. However, now that it's been removed, I am unable to access the "Manage Content and Structure" link on some of our SharePoint sites. I get an error indicating that SharePoint Failed to find the XML file at location '12\Template\Features\PWSCommitments\feature.xml' Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

• How to fix broken IIS on Windows 7

  how can I fix broken IIS on Windows 7 ? Deinstalling it via "Windows Features" doesn't help. Apparently it doesn't uninstall IIS completely so on my subsequent attempts to install it installer hangs and I can see in Process Explorer that it keeps trying to launch svchost.exe -iis for 10 mins and then gives me error message. Reinstalling whole Windows with all apps would take me another 3 days :/ Please help.

  So, Notepad++ got updated to v6.0. One of their new features is PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions). I tried to use this new feature to find and replace things in a file. I tried the regular expression: {\$([a-zA-Z_]*)} and it yelled at me, saying "Invalid regular expression". I tested this regex in other programs (like my main IDE, Geany), and it worked fine. Why does this not work in Notepad++ 6.0?

  Just toying with a clustered server farm for fun (as you do) and experimenting with Webmin and its 'clustered' modules. It has a feature that can copy files from one server to another on a repeating basis. Does this feature/module use cron jobs and what protocol does it use to copy the files? I have searched all about the net and yet I cannot find any decent documentation on webmin or its features. Is it just poorly documented or am I missing something?
