• Loading jQuery gallery after the Ajax call

  I am trying to put a jQuery gallery after the Ajax call. On my main site, I create a div which wrap the main content (e.g site_content). When users click on one of the hyperlink on the main page, the "site_content" will get updated and display other content which is saved at other HTML file and I am using AJAX to avoid the whole page refresh. However I having a problem of running the JavaScript/jQuery gallery because the JavaScript won't work after the AJAX call. I understand that because the browser does not know there will be some functions to call after the content (from the other HTML file) is successfully displayed. I tried to use the jQuery getScript method but it is still not working. Could anyone give me some ideas how can I run the javaScript/jQuery gallery after the AJAX call? Thanks

  My IM stores the logs according to the contact name. I have created a file with the list of active contacts. My problem is following: I would like to create a bash script with read the active contacts names from the file and compare it with the directories. If the directory name wouldn't be found on the list, it would be moved to another directory (let's call it "archive"). I try to visualise it for you. content of the list: contact1 contact2 content of the dir contact1 contact2 contact3 contact4 after running of the script, the content fo the dir: contact1 contact2 contact3 == ../archive contact4 == ../archive

How can i get the content of http://www.test.com/xml/xml.php in a unsafe window? What i expect is that the content of http://www.test.com/xml/xml.php is returned in alert box How can i do that?

• Drupal Imagecache Actions with ImageField and Node variables

  I am able to add text to onto a imagefield using the imagecache textrender preset action (for a content type). I pull the node title using the following in the imagecache preset text: global $node; return $node->title; However this only works when an image is uploaded when creating new content. If I have an image set as a default for the content type (and none are added when creating the new page) then it won't overlay the node title. I tried just regular text in the preset action field on the default image and it worked. Can anyone help me with this?

But in my case the divs change size late, because the content is loaded late by an ajax request - or by clicking a panel menu. I definatley need to avoid to register on all individual events of the children (ajax, click), because that can be very many different events and then it is not maintainable.

Is this possible ? If not: how long does it typically take before Apple approves a new registred product in iTunes Connect ? Since the content looses quickly it's 'freshness' (news broadcasts...), it is crucial to be able to have new content available ASAP. • Overlapping divs, absolutely relative?

  A wordpress theme I'm working on has headlines which span across the entire content area. These headlines are overlapped by the sidebar which is absolutely positioned at 100% width. The issue, is when the sidebar's content exceeds the page's content, it stretches OUT of my wrapper overtop of the footer without forcing the it down (because it's absolute and nothing else is). So my question is, how would it be possible to make a absolutely positioned div, become relative and essentially "push" my footer down, or is there a better way to do this? Also, if anyone has examples of how this has been done would be awesome! edit: The sidebar is absolutely positioned so it can lay over top of the sidebar.   I guess this is sort of two questions that are tied together. Related questions have discussed how to read and parse email using pop3. I need to be able to do this, however, I want this to be able to work with any email address I need. I am trying to allow users to submit content by emailing it to a unique email address, which will automatically know to which account the content should be associated. Is there a good way to create these email addresses on the fly and check these email accounts so for content submissions? Alternatively is there a way to make a "wildcard" email account which gets all of the email sent to the domain and allows me to see what the to address was?

  I'm using drupal 6. I've managed to make a .tpl file for one content type, that is for images in my image gallery. I've tried a couple of ways to change this function to include more content types, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

  I am writing something like a registration process containing several steps, and I want to make it a single-page like system so after some studying Backbone.js is my choice. Every time the user completes the current step they will click on a NEXT button I create and I use the router.navigate method to update the url, as well as loading the content of the next page and doing some fancy transition with javascript. Result is, URL is updated which the page is not refreshed, giving a smooth user experience. However, when the user clicks on the back button of the browser, the URL gets updated to that of a previous step, but the content stays the same. My question is through what way I can capture such an event and currently load the content of the previous step and present that to the user? Or even better, can I rely on browser cache to load that previously loaded page? EDIT: in particular, I'm trying something like mentioned in this article.

  I have a content type with important "created" date field. And I have a menu link (in primary links) which is link to page that shows list of all nodes of my content type. (http://example.com/mycontenttype) I want to have menu links (visible in primary links) to each year when nodes of my content type are displayed (http://example.com/mycontenttype/2010). And I want to add these menu links from mymodule_nodeapi function, when the node is creating and only if it has a "created" date of new year. I know that I can create a pathes in mymodule_menu function, but it doesn't create a visible menu item. (Maybe I can somehow set parent_link_id or something else to do it?)

But I've got a script that basically empties a div of content and then loads content from a div from a separate webpage, without reloading the current page. This works great. It's taken from this example actually, from net tuts (great site btw) http://nettuts.s3.amazonaws.com/011_jQuerySite/sample/index.html And the guy who wrote this even though about handling the url's since the url don't change when using his method. So he wrote a javascript snippet that looks up the url and loads the content accoringly. Which is not working btw. But I was thinking about people who don't have javascript enabled, or iPhone and iPad users ;) Copying URLs and sending to a friend won't work at all. So how is this typically done? And can it be done without javascript? Possibly by php?
