• Why does exec:java work and exec:exec fail?

  Hey there, just set up a simple project to test the functionality of the maven exec plugin. I have one class containing one "Hello World" main method. I've tested two configurations of the exec plugin. <goals> <goal>exec</goal> </goals> <configuration> <executable>java</executable> <arguments> <argument>-classpath</argument> <classpath/> <argument>test.exec.HelloWorldExec</argument> </arguments> </configuration> failed miserably, giving me a ClassNotFoundException, while <goals><goal>java</goal></goals> <configuration> <mainClass>test.exec.HelloWorldExec</mainClass> </configuration> worked. However I would like to be able to start my java main class in a separate process, so I'd like to understand whats different with exec:exec and how I can get it to work?   I am having some issues with applying a gradient to a RadButton.   Hi folks, not sure how to do this as ID's are ment to be unique but this is a dynamically series of forms generated from a php array - based on reading the file names in a directory - with the same ID. What I need to do is identify which form so the data can be processed. • Jquery - Dialogue not displaying correctly on IE6

  I am trying to use bgiform but it seems to have no effect. The text in IE is pushed off of the screen of the dialogue box when its displayed. It works fine in FF. • "Add another item" form functionality

  I have a form that lets a user enter their career history - it's a very simple form with only 3 fields - type (dropdown), details (textfield) and year (dropdown). Basically I want to include some dynamic functionality whereby the user can enter multiple items on the same page and then submit them all in one go. I had a search on Google and found some examples but they were all based on tables - my markup is based on DIV tags: <div class="form-fields"> <div class="row"> <label for="type">Type</label> <select id="type" name="type"> <option value="Work">Work</option> </select> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="details">Details</label> <input id="details" type="text" name="details" /> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="year">Year</label> <select id="year" name="year"> <option value="2010">2010</option> </select> </div> </div> So basically the 3 DIV tags with class "row" need to be duplicated, or to simplify things - the div "form-fields" could just be duplicated. I am also aware that the input names would have to converted to array format. Additionally each item will require a "remove" button. There will be a main submit button at the bottom which submits all the data. Anyone got an elegant solution for this?

• jQuery - Why doesn't combining has() and gt() work in some cases?

  I wanted to select any ul which contains more than 3 lis. This code worked with the 1.2.6 jQuery library: $("ul:has(li:gt(2))") .each( function() { $(this).css("border", "solid red 1px"); }); But not 1.3.2 or 1.4.2. This code worked with the 1.4.2 jQuery library: $('ul').has('li:nth-child(3)').css('border', 'solid red 1px'); But not v1.2.6. Why does each version work with one library version, but not the other? Am I encountering some kind of bug, or am I doing something wrong? Any help understanding , or differences to be aware of between different versions of the jQuery libraries, would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  We would like to add a checkbox to each row on Rails index page to flag for the row. This checkbox is not part of the object (no checkbox boolean in database). How to declare an array checkbox variable on the form and link it to each row of obj? We have been using `attr_accessor` to declare var for a form. 2. How to retrieve each row on checkbox_index form and pass them back to controller? We are using simple_form for new/edit.   Hi In XML I'd normal expect the following to be perfectly valid and navigable in a meaningful way using something like PHP's DomDocument: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configdata> <page> <name>Home</name> </page> <page> <name>Log in</name> </page> </configdata> This is not the case when using Zend_Navigation. Each <page> element needs to have a unique name, so you would need to do: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configdata> <page_home> <name>Home</name> </page_home> <page_log_in> <name>Log in</name> </page_log_in> </configdata> This works, but is very annoying. I'd much rather have multiple page elements which can have the same name and can be easily copy and pasted when creating many pages for navigation. Why does each one need a unique name? Is there a way of not having to have a unique name?

Is there any change in the code I can use to solve this or is it a browser side problem?

  I have a real basic form (code below) with a bunch of back-panel PhP. There is a scanner being used to input the data, but instead of tab after each item, it sends an "enter" command. Is it viable to add javascript to cause enter to instead tab to the next form field, and upon the last form field, submit it instead? I have found a few scripts online, but none that I have tried have worked in Firefox/Chrome.   On ubuntu 12.04, whenever I try to install a package using apt-get I'm greeted by: The following packages have unmet dependencies: postgresql-9.1 : Depends: postgresql-client-9.1 but it is not going to be instal led E: Unmet dependencies. • How do you install/configure JBoss on Linux/Unix?

  I'm currently working on how install and configure multiple (30+) JBoss EAP 5 configurations (both standalone and clusters) for development, test and production at a client's site (running SuSE). I'm not to fancy about the jboss way of storing application/configuration together with system files, so I have tried to split things up (ie moving server config out of the jboss installation directory). I also would like minimize the amount of configuration needed when upgrading/patching jboss - but I'm not done thinking about that... It would be great to hear how you've done and what you think about my approach. This is how my installations look like (for the moment): Standard JBoss EAP install (minus server configs): /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/bin/ /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/lib/ /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/server/ [server configs removed to avoid starting them by mistake] /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/.../ Application (some jboss folders has been omitted - you'll get the point anyway): /app/<project>/ [$app.dir - application specific base folder] /app/<project>/jboss/ [$jboss.home] /app/<project>/jboss/bin/ -> /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/bin /app/<project>/jboss/lib/ -> /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/lib /app/<project>/jboss/server/<cfg>/ [project specific config based on 'production'] /app/<project>/jboss/server/<cfg>/log/ -> /log/<project>/<cfg> /app/<project>/jboss/server/<cfg>/... /app/<project>/jboss/.../ -> /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5.0/jboss-as/.../ /app/<project>/bin/ [application specific scripts for start/stop etc - wraps jboss supplied scripts] /app/<project>/deploy/ [application deploy folder] /app/<project>/etc/ [application specific config] Questions: How do you install JBoss (on linux/unix systems)? Where do you put JBoss and what modifications do you do? Where do you put your applications and application specific files? Do you share JBoss instances between applications or run one instance/cluster per application? How do you manage configuration changes (i.e. your modifications of jboss standard config)?
