    Hello to all. I have a IQueryable function. In that function, I need to store and retrieve data to Session; can you guys point me in the right direction. I've looked at the HttpSessionStatBase where the session is usually taken from HttpContext.Current but this doesnt seem possible to do in the library. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I need to store words according to 2 initial letters which is 676 combinations and each word has its number of occurrences (minimal, maximal, average) in text. I'm not sure how the model/schema should look like. There will be a lot of checking whether the keyword was already persisted. I appreciate your suggestions. But how come there are apps in the app store such as iBetMate, which, in fact, allows users to gamble? Is there a clause or something that I missed in Apple's rules?

  • How can i create a context menu in c# in a datagridview

    Hi all, I have written a datagridview with a couple of columns to store data of a product, now i want to be able to right click any row and have a context menu appear with the options delete and copy. Copy should have the same functionality as if I press Ctrl+C. Any help would be appreciated. Im using C# and WinForms.     I want to read following file in C++. 000001011100110 100000010101100 001001001001100 110110000000011 000000010110011 011000110101110 111010011011110 011001010010000 I know already how many rows and columns is there in the file. I want to read each integer and store it in a 2-D matrix of ints. Each integers here means 0 is one entry and 1 is another entry. So in this example above there are 15 0's and 1s.

    I have 2 lists in my program one that store objects of type student and another one which stores objects of type marks. I have 3 methods one that inputs the details of the students, one that inputs the marks and one to view student details and their marks. My question is how I can use a hash table to get the Id of a student and then use it to input the marks and then how to retrieve both the student details and their marks altogether.   • How to upgrade iPhone 3G to iOS 5 now that iOS 6 is out? [closed]

    My friend has an old iPhone 3G and I wanted to upgrade it to iOS 5 because I had read that the performance is actually better with iOS 5 on that phone in spite of the difference in processor power. The problem is that now that iOS 6 is out, iTunes only gives me the option to upgrade to that. I am a little more leery of iOS 6 knowing that it was launched mostly for the iPhone 5 and since that phone has a way faster processor, I would assume that performance would be an issue on the iPhone 3G. How can I, if possible, upgrade just to iOS 5? Note: I would like to avoid having to jailbreak the phone by all means possible. (It's not mine and I don't want to take the risk with a phone that doesn't belong to me.) EDIT: If anyone knows of a good site to get help on questions like this let me know. Apparently you're allowed to ask questions about iPhones here, just not this. Which is completely utter asinine, but oh well. Anyone with helpful ideas, post in the comments please.

    I have a complex XSD schema and hundreds of XML files conforming to the schema. How do I automate the creation of related SQL Server tables to store the XML data? I've considered creating C# classes from the XSD schema using the xsd.exe tool and letting something like Subsonic figure out how to make a shiny database out of it, but not sure if it's the best way to approach it. Has anyone managed to elegantly import XSD files into SQL Server?

I am creating an appointment table where in the foreign key is patient id which is referenced from patient table.This table is for all registered patients. there will be unregistered patients also, who will be seeking appointments.SO i just need to store the name,phone and few details. I'm making a game in which several characters have relationships with each other and they need to be able to interact with each other and store some relationship data regarding how they feel about each other. I have an object for each character. Is it bad for each of those character objects to have an array of all the other character objects in order to perform these interactions?   • iOS dynamic object creation

    I've worked with Xcode and iOS on a few personal projects and have always used non-object-oriented designs for everything... just because I've been doing mostly learning/experimenting with things. Now I've been trying to implement some object oriented design into one game I've made previously. The idea is, I have a space ship that can shoot bullets. In the past I basically added the UIImageView to the storyboard and then connected it to the .h file and from there did things on it like move it around or whatever (using CGPointMake). The idea now is to make a method (and a whole other class soon) that will create a UIImageView programmatically, allocate it, add it to the superview etc... I've got this working so far, easy stuff, but the next part is a bit harder. Where do I store this local variable "bullet"? I've been saving it to an NSMutableArray and doing the following: (actually here are the methods that I have) -(void)movement { for (int i = 0; i < [array1 count]; i ++) { UIImageView *a = [array1 objectAtIndex:i]; a.center = CGPointMake(a.center.x + 2, a.center.y); if (a.center.x > 500) { [array1 removeObjectAtIndex:i]; [a removeFromSuperview]; } } } -(void)getBullet { UIImageView *bullet = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(ship.center.x + 20, ship.center.y - 2, 15, 3)]; bullet.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"bullet2.png"]; bullet.hidden = NO; [self.view addSubview:bullet]; [array1 addObject:bullet]; } (by the way, array1 is declared in the .h file) and theres a timer that controls the movement method timer = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:0.5 target:self selector:@selector(movement) userInfo:nil repeats:YES]; first question is: what is the correct way of doing this? Storing a bullet for example until it is removed from the superview, should I store it another way? and another question is, when I remove a UIImageView from the superview, does that remove it from memory so its not using up system resources?     Given a 1*N matrix or an array, how do I find the first 4 elements which have the same value and then store the index for those elements? PS: I'm just curious. What if we want to find the first 4 elements whose value differences are within a certain range, say below 2? For example, M=[10,15,14.5,9,15.1,8.5,15.5,9.5], the elements I'm looking for will be 15,14.5,15.1,15.5 and the indices will be 2,3,5,7.
