I am working with packets of data and do not want to change the size of my packet when encrypting it, yet my data is not an even multiple of 128? Does the AES block cipher allow handling of a final block that is short without changing the size of my message once encrypted?

• How do I Setup Multiple Sites in HostGator Shared Hosting?

  I recently decided to consolidate all of my random projects into a single hosting account as it was starting to get very expensive to run each on an individual hosting plan. I purchased the HostGator Baby plan which allows hosting of multiple domains. You have to set it up with a root domain name which is fine (I used my portfolio domain name). As far as file structure, I wanted a folder for each site in /public_html so the structure looks like this: - public_html/ - myportfolio.com/ - ... my files ... - anothersite.com/ - ... my files ... - thirdsite.com/ - ... my files ... I setup add-on domains and pointed them to their respective folders which works fine. My problem is the root domain ex. myportfolio.com expects it's files to be contained at the root of /public_html rather than within it's folder I created. I setup a redirect to point requests for myportfolio.com to myportfolio.com/myportfolio.com/ which works initially except (at least in my WordPress installation) it still references it's root folder as public_html. TL;DR; What is the best way to go about setting up multiple site hosting in a shared hosting environment (i.e. I can't setup vhosts). Does anybody know of any tutorials or videos that walk through this more clearly? Thanks.

  I want an outgoing mail server ONLY for multiple domains. I plan to use Postfix as that seems to be the easiest to setup being very new to Ubuntu/Linux. The setup I plan to have are as follows: I want to use virtual domain with postfix i.e. my multiple websites must be able to send an email from each their respective domains i.e. [email protected] is sent from my domain1.com website and [email protected] is sent from domain2.com website This is an outgoing mail server only i.e. I don't want any returned (or otherwise) email sent to my postfix server. Incoming mail is handled by Google Apps/Gmail and is already setup. I already set my SPF recording to designate my mx records and postfix server ip as valid email servers i.e. "v=spf1 mx include:mydomain.com -all" How can I achieve this? I'm frankly a little confused, so some help would be appreciated.   I have a machine (centos 5) with one external ip address. On that machine I have many virtual hosts with a few different top level domain names and sub-domains under those eg. sub1.domain1.com sub2.domain1.com sub3.domain1.com sub1.domain2.com sub2.domain2.com sub1.domain3.com And so on... Alot of these different sites need to send mail as their corresponding domain (or second-level domain at least). I need to set up DKIM, SPF (but that's handled on the DNS) and rDNS lookup so the mail gets received. As I understand it, you can only have one rDNS entry per machine. I could set up a server for each top level domain, but I'm thinking that'll get expensive. What should I do here? Is there a way to have multiple rDNS lookups on one ip address? How do I setup DKIM signing for multiple domain names on the one machine? Are there any services out there that could handle this for me? Thanks for your help...

Anyone has a sugestion? I mean will this config work if the link on 2.2.2.2 fails? Will the router choose the other network 3.3.3.3, if the link 2.2.2.2 fails?

  I have an Asus WL-520GU wireless router connected to a cable modem that I use for wireless internet access in my apartment. I would like to set it up so that it provides two SSIDs: one secured and password-protected for my regular use, and a "guest" SSID that's unsecured but throttled to, say, 10% of the available bandwidth. What is the most straightforward way to do this? I've been looking into DD-WRT and Tomato, both of which support my router. DD-WRT supports setting up multiple SSIDs using the GUI, but I don't know if it's possible to limit the bandwidth of each SSID independently; point #12 in this FAQ thread says it's not possible to limit by day or by MAC address, which is discouraging but not conclusive. Tomato allows bandwidth limits in its QoS settings, going by the screenshot here, but multiple SSID support is still experimental and it doesn't look like it will work with the encryption settings or bandwidth limits in the GUI. I'd like to know a good way to do this which gives me the fewest opportunities for screwing up. I'm no stranger to the command line, if that turns out to be what's necessary, but if so, please explain what the commands are doing because I don't have a good mental model of what needs to happen to set this up.

  I get the impression that one can, potentially, have multiple JobTracker nodes configured to share the same set of MR (TaskTracker) nodes. I know that, conventionally, all the nodes in a Hadoop cluster should have the same set of configuration files (conventionally under /etc/hadoop/conf/ --- at least for the Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop (CDH). Can we define multiple Job Trackers in mapred-site.xml? Something like: <configuration> <property> <name>mapred.job.tracker</name> <value>jt01.mydomain.not:8021</value> </property> <property> <name>mapred.job.tracker</name> <value>jt02.mydomain.not:8021</value> </property> ... </configuration> Or is there some other allowed syntax for this? What are the implications of doing this. Does each JobTracker get information about the load on each TaskTracker node. In other words can the two JobTracker co-ordinated their scheduling across the TT nodes only based on the gossip information from the TTs or would they need to talk to one another? Is this documented anywhere?

Beyond that, I could not find any suited Chrome extension or standalone (Mac) app. …or a command line to join multiple SQLite database files into one database, which I can then query (with the full syntax power). In the spirit of the pseudo code below: Preferred this way: sqlite --targetDatabase ChromeHistoryAll --importFiles /path/to/ChromeAppData/History\ Index* --importOnlyYetUnknownFiles Or if my desired feature --importOnlyYetUnknownFiles is not possible (feature could also be called "avoid duplicate imports by checking UIDs"), then by explicitly only importing files, of which I know, that they have yet not been imported into the ChromeHistoryAll database: cd ChromeAppData; sqlite --databaseTarget ChromeHistoryAll --importFiles YetNotImported1 YetNotImported2 YetNotImported3 All my queries I would then perform in the database "ChromeHistoryAll" P.S.: Additional question of general interest: Is there a way to perform a database query in a temporary database which was created on-the-fly from multiple files? Like: sqlite --query="SQL query" --targetDatabase DbAll --DBtemporaryInRAM --importFiles db1 db2 db3 This is surely not applicable for my Chrome question, as these History Index files have a combined file size of 500MB together, thus such a query would be of bad performance. But it could come handy in other situations.
