  I have been using Office 2010 since Beta1 and have not looked back since. I am currently on an internal RC, but will upgrade tomorrow to the RTM version. • How to open directory in Guake from Nautilus

  In Nautilus, I have upon right-clicking a directory, the option to open a Terminal with the prompt in the selected directory. I think this is very handy and I use it a lot. Now I would like to use Guake instead of the classic terminal. Is there a way to do this? I'm struggling with nautilus-actions. I can open Guake allright (i.e. it drops down from the top since it's permanently loaded), but the prompt isn't located at the directory of choice. In addition, it's one more mouseclick to open the terminal (if it would work), I would prefer a shorter way. Anyone any idea how to manage this? (or could this be a possible feature request?) • What are the most common schools of knowledge prevalent in 'great' programmers?

  I asked this question on StackOverflow but it got shot down fairly quickly. It was suggested that I ask it here, so I've copied it from there. Hope that's ok: The question: I think that the 'great' programmers become so mostly from being exposed to and interested in programming from early ages, as well as huge amounts of dedication. Unfortunately I only discovered programming at a later age, and I sometimes feel frustrated with the difficulties I experience in trying to grok some of the more fundamental concepts the 'greats' seem to take for granted.. So my question is in relationt to that, if a 'great' programmer (i.e. top 10%) had to distill his or her knowledge into a few recommendations / books / concepts / suggestions / lessons, what would they be? What does a programmer who's willing to learn need to do to get on the right track towards becoming great? And to be more specific, I don't mean 'what does that person need to do', because the answer is almost invariably, 'practice!'. What I mean is, what does the programmer need to know?

  One of the new features is URL-based navigation which is useful for creating intranet links or auto-generating email links (such as from workflow systems, etc). For IIS 6 and earlier, the format is as follows: http://machine/drm-client/Logon.aspx? app=<appname>&action=go&ver=<version name>&hier=<hier name>&node=<node name> Just replace the fields with their appropriate values (URL-encoded of course). <node name> is optional. If provided it will open the hierarchy and expand directly to the target node. Otherwise the hierarchy is opened to the top node. Note that if the specified version is not loaded it will be loaded automatically.
